Do not give them business if they knock on your door looking for work. We agreed on a price and they didn’t deliver the services. Tried to leave after 10 min. They know exactly what they’re doing. Total ripoff.

Hired this company to Remove some palm trees and some plants from my yard and to trim back some of my plants. They did a good job On the front of my yard , but on the Side of my yard behind my garage , they only trimmed Down the plants When they were supposed to remove the roots as well. I contacted the company to let them know that the plants are growing back and to come.Finish the job and remove the roots.So it's now been two weeks and They keep telling me they'll be here tomorrow, Tomorrow, tomorrow... They have not shown up yet. I thought they were a good company but now I would not hire them again.
Today is july twelfth and this company finally sent a worker to come finish the job. So what's a bit late?But i'm glad that they Completed the work.

This company did a great job for us. The it was an almost impossible job since my sister passed away and she hardly did any trimming or up keep on her backyard. It was like a jungle in the backyard. The crew from this company worked on it and in two days they cleared the place to our satisfaction. There were bushes never trim in years over 10 feet tall and some trees also. The crew of Jose, Jesus, Giomaro and Yoban excellent workers.

We have used Discount Tree Care Arborist last year and had a great experience with Abel. This time around was not the case. We had a small tree that was damaged by the storm and in danger of falling so I called for a quote. Francisco came out and provided my wife with a high quote but we needed the tree taken care of, so we moved forward.
The crew arrived and immediately took lunch on the lawn in front of the house. While on lunch break one of the crew members went into my backyard and urinated next to my kids play area. It was caught on camera. I addressed it with Abel and he said he was going to fire the employee and have him leave. My wife watched as the employee received the call from Abel and was smiling and laughing before leaving. Doesn't seem like a typical response if you are fired. They made no effort or offer to clean the area where the crew member urinated.
After this occurred the crew finished lunch and began work in the yard. They started cutting the wrong tree and had to be stopped by my wife.
The final issue was they did not do all the work they had said they would. Francisco told my wife they would bring some posts to shore up another tree and when my wife asked the crew member just looked confused and the work was never done.
The experience was poor and I would not recommend them or be using their services in the future.

Came out to give free quote for trimming trees and hedges. Were willing to negotiate price and start right away.
Came out on time Did what they contracted to do. Were willing to listen to suggestions. Cleaned up completely. Really looks good. I am very happy and will definitely use them again.

My mother asked them to trim the tree in a certain shape, but they took 99.9 percent of the branches off without bothering to ask her if it was OK to do this, which would have been very easy, since she was home. We called the person in charge to discuss this lack of communication, and twice he said he would call back, but never did. This added insult to injury, so I give them a zero in communication skills.

I have been in my home for 58 years and used any tree people but never have I had one so Professional, Polite and they almost all spoke English which made it easy for mean to explain what I wanted.
It is a family business and the workers were almost all family members. It was a pleasure working with all of them from the first day until they finished. I recommend for any and all kinds of yard work. Abel you and your crew are the very best.

I needed 2 very large trees trimmed before the pending storm on Saturday. Called Abel the owner. Within 30 minutes his very polite and professional son arrived. This family-run business demonstrates the importance of passing down family values, like hard work, persistence, and professionalism. From the time Abel called me back, to his brother Francisco coming to assess and quote the job, and Stephanie emailing me with the company credentials, everyone was prompt and professional. When Abel Junior arrived (THE SAME DAY) to do the work (one large tree-trimming and two smaller tree removals), he was just as pleasant and professional as his father. He was also very patient with me as I reviewed the final job and their excellent cleanup! I highly recommend them all!

My dad needed his almost 75 year old avocado tree to be removed because of safety reasons. The tree was huge and the task would be a challenge. We found this business from checking google. Impressed by the feedback left from others I decided to call. Abel was a professional right out the gate! He got information about what we needed and came over the next morning to give an estimate. My father was impressed and decided to hire him. He came back an hour later with his crew and they were outstanding!! Tree, stump and huge roots roots were taken out! They were quite the professionals! They were very kind and respectful and my dad said he doesn't think anyone else could have done the job as great as they did! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to you. We are so glad we found them. This by no means was a small task and they were amazing in the way they got things done. We had to leave a 5 star rating because they are absolutely the best!

We had our tree trimmed about a month ago. The service was on time, quick, and professional. I had considered trying to trim it myself to save money, but not only was the price excellent, I can't even begin to explain how much time they saved me. My Chinese Elm hadn't been trimmed in 10+ years and was regularly growing in to the street - it would have taken me a month or more, plus disposal fees, to try and do it by myself. I highly recommend the crew that handled my tree and am recommending them to all of my neighbors.

I found Abel through Home Advisor and saw all the great reviews. So I called. He came out same day for a free estimate and started work the very next morning! I’m so thrilled with him and his crew!! On the day of the job, they all showed up on time , and ready to start. They cut down a gigantic tree in my yard and figured it would be an all day job, it wasn’t, they were done in a couple hours for three large trees and cleanup. they work so fast but so efficient. My yard was cleaner when they were done than it was when they showed up to start! I’m having them back soon to do my front trees next! They are amazing! So friendly, funny and extremely professional! Discount Tree Care Arborist did an excellent job with removing two sycamore trees at our home in Lakewood. One of the trees was a huge tree that was probably over 80 years old. Able and his crew were super friendly and gave me a great price for the amount of work that needed to be done. We had the trees removed and the stumps grinded. They did a great job with cleaning up the area too when they were done. I'm also happy with how prompt they were with providing a quote and being able to schedule the service so quickly. They showed up to the job site on time too. I highly recommend them for your tree services.

Had a great experience with Discount Tree Care Arborist. It was the first time I ever hired a tree service myself so I didn’t know what to expect. When they came out for an estimate, they were very respectful and knowledgeable. I was worried it would be more expensive than I could afford but, Abel gave a great price that I thought was more than fair. He also gave great advice on other trees around our house without trying to push me to get more work done. You could tell he really likes what he does and I saw that reflected in his guys and the work.

I had a California Pepper tree that was very tall and a Jacaranda tree that was positioned dangerously near a fence. They made quick safe work of both. Trimmed the Pepper tree and took the Jacaranda all the way to the ground. We also had a small palm in the front yard that was overgrown and not pretty to look at. Once the guys were done with it, it looked like an exotic piece of art, truly. They were overall very fast and very professional. Aside from the great work they did on the trees, I was really impressed with how they cleaned up and put things back that they had to move for access. Raked up more mess than they made, blew off the rest of the yard, watered down the trees and surrounding areas. Just really great work from start to finish. Sincere thanks for a great experience!

I needed a rapid palm tree pruning as two fronds were leaning onto my roof. A no-no for pest control and home insurance suspension. I contacted three other tree service companies, and one was over 6 weeks out, one declined, but Abel responded within 20 minutes, with Francisco on site 30 minutes after that for an estimate. They arrived next morning 8 AM and Richard was the foreman for my job. Not only did they trim that one palm, but we scheduled in 6 other trees. The team was impressive. All work done to satisfaction and my approval, efficient, performed all the necessary work, cleaned up the area, and was completed in one hour. I will not waste my time with those other tree service companies, I am happy I found this company as this is my go to tree service company from now on.

We had 2 trees in our front yard that had never been trimmed in over 15 & 25 years respectively.
One dropped a tremendous amount of the caramel corn-like seeds, a kind of a nut that would stick to a cars paint & a wood-like crown that would any car parked underneath it as well as the street & sidewalk, almost every day of the year.
It’s a good solid tree but It was like living with a sloppy family member
We were wiping down our cars & sweeping our sidewalk constantly.
The other tree grew crooked as the 1st tree took away some it’s sunlight & this 2nd tree started angling towards our roof.
Abel & Francisco we’re professional & courteous from the onset.
Francisco showed up when he said he would, gave me a good estimate and asked if I wanted it done today!
I was impressed that he could do it right away.
It was almost 10 AM & I thought it would take about 6 to eight hours to complete & he said his 5-Man crew would do it in a couple or 3 hours!
His crew arrived at 12:30 PM, set up & started at 1:00 PM & we’re done BY 4:00 PM!
They were professional, safe, courteous & had a friendly smile through the day while I spoke with them instructing what I wanted trimmed and asking their professional opinion about the best cuts and what to leave for the best health and look of our trees.
I am pleased, impressed and very grateful to the entire team for making this undertaking smooth, expeditious & with the results that experience brings.

Abel the owner refused to properly reseal my pavers after his company dumped tons of pine tree branches and sap all over my driveway. I had to buy product and a pump and do the final coat myself as recommended by the product. He refused to give me the name of the company he hired to strip, re-grout and seal my damaged driveway. This was 8/19/2024. The company doing the repair had an extremely rude employee who said he was only paid for 3 days and no more product. Abel is no longer addressing the problem and had an employee call me to refuse to pay for the product I had to purchase to properly finish the job. Looks like court is my only way to be properly compensated for my troubles labor product and aggravation. Do not hire this company

This company is phenomenal!! Abel was more than fair on the price of our project. The crew came and were thorough from trimming our trees to cleaning up and hauling off. They were done in two hours making our complex look stunning 🤩. Highly impressed with their drive, work ethic, and commitment to make sure the job is done right and to the standard the customer wants. They proved themselves to be very valuable. They more than earned my business and are now my go-to arborists hands down. I will share with everyone how amazing they are!!

I was looking for the other quotes. Discount Tree Care came to 1st while I'm waiting others. He wanted to get a job at the moment and told that the service will include the small tree stump removals. They told we need to leave NOW and didn't remove the small stumps. They got a job without care. A broken roof with a hole, he refused to fix and hung up the phone. I DO NOT support this type of business.

Tree fell during the night, called Discount Tree early on a Saturday, they came within the hour as promised, assessed the situation, gave a quote, which was detailed and competitive, they were ready and got to work! A very stressful situation, but the team of guys worked out the solution and within 2 hours - the tree was removed! Clean up and attention to detail phenomenal. Highly recommend!!

Used them in 2020 and also a few weeks ago. Abel is always responsive and gives me a quote within the same day. The workers are professional and always clean up afterwards.
