Oh my goodness! I never thought I would rave about plumbing service but here I am!! This morning after one of my house guests used the toilet the tank would not fill up with water and the water just kept running. I needed to find a good plumber quickly, on a Saturday that was reasonably priced. Enter Bobby! When he called and said that he could be at my home in 15-20 minutes as he was finishing a job in the area. He came through the door with a big smile and headed to assess my toilet. His attitude and personality were great and put me at ease. He had the part I needed on his truck, installed it and just like that
my toilet was working again and my Saturday plans were not destroyed! If you ever need a plumber that you can trust, who does very excellent work and enjoys what he is doing call A1 Best plumbing!

The folks at Coastline Environmental/A1 plumbing are truly first class. Our factory was hit by a Tornado in Montebello and completely devestated the factory. These guys speak the insurance language and know how to navigate under these stressful circumstances. They take over so that you can get on with your normal day to day while they tackle the work. Araceli was an excellent project manager with daily updates, before and after photos, kept crew and tasks on time, and provided the best communication I've seen in a long time. If you can imagine how much damage an F1 tornado can do to your business from structural, plumbing, environmental, electrical, etc, these guys made it to where I could sleep well at night knowing that I'm in good hands. They are the best. Thank you so very much for taking care of us.

I contacted A1 Best Plumbing because I had a plumbing issue that needed to be handled quickly. They responded fast, showed up on time, and fixed the problem efficiently. Great service and very professional.

My main sewer line was clogged. I called a different plumber first and they gave me an outrageous quote. They didn’t even try to snake it. I called A-1plumbing for a second quote, they brought a snake, cleared out the roots and then used a hydrojet for a fraction of the first quote. Bobby was great and explained everything he was doing.

Bobby came in to fix a clogged line. He was great! He is thorough and found an issue where the last plumber from First American Home Warranty's independent contractor came out and messed up pur plumbing by putting in a rag on our roof plumbing vent. Bobby is highly recommended! Honest and reliable

Terrible Experience – Beware of This Company

I called this plumbing service because they had five stars on Google and I assumed they would be trustworthy. My husband was at work, so I decided to handle the service call myself.

When the plumber arrived, I explained that my toilet was flushing, but not completely — the toilet paper wasn’t going down, and it seemed like a slow flush. He spent 12 minutes using a basic (non-electric) snake, then told me he couldn’t unclog it. He said I’d need to pay an additional $300 for him to remove the toilet and another $350 for him to bring a power snake. That would bring the total to $650, not including the fact that he’d have to move furniture since it’s a primary bathroom.

I immediately declined. $300 just to remove a toilet is outrageous — my husband had just replaced the toilet the day before and could easily do that himself. When I asked if it was possible for my husband to remove it and for them to return, the plumber actually said, “Honestly, he could probably fix it on his own. The clog is right there at the flange.” In other words, he was basically saying it didn’t even sound like this big $650 “project” was necessary.

He still charged me $250 for the visit — even though the issue wasn’t fixed and he was only working on my toilet for about 10minutes, I have screenshots — and left my bathroom messy, with more water in the toilet than before he arrived. Left the lid off and bathroom mat crumbled up near my bed.

When I called the company to explain what happened, the receptionist immediately transferred me to the manager (who turned out to be the owner) before I could even finish my first sentence. As soon as he got on the phone, he didn’t let me speak or even introduce myself. He just said he was “familiar with the call” and started mansplaining his services in a condescending tone. When I told him I didn’t appreciate the way he was speaking to me, he blamed it on him using a speakerphone — I could clearly hear other people in the background chiming in and backing him up saying he was working on my toilet for an hour.

Overall, the customer service was horrible, the pricing was unreasonable, and the attitude from both the owner was rude and dismissive. I paid $250 for 12 minutes of work and no results. The owner even admitted that the $250 charge applies “even if no work is done.” Guess plumbers are making Dr. wages these days…

Save your money and your time — do not call this company. My husband and dad will likely fix the issue themselves, especially since the plumber himself said, “It’s just right there on the flange.”
This was highway robbery, and I sincerely hope their rating drops so others don’t go through the same experience.

A-1 responded quickly and arrived with an hour of our call at 6pm. Bobby was able to resolve our plumbing issue in a high rise condo. He was courteous and made sure our condo was left as he found it.
