After meeting with tons of contractors that felt like salesmen, I met with Fabiola and Cesar. They were so real that I almost couldn't believe they were real! When their bid came back within our budget I just had a huge sense of relief. Amazingly, these good feelings continued throughout the entire construction process.

My husband and I had a ton of work done by Conber Construction and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The scope of the project includes roof, windows, electrical work, exterior wall, tankless water heater, building a new gate, among other things. The project took a few months and it went smoothly the whole way through.

Quality of work - We’re picky people. Between my husband and I, we checked everything with a fine tooth comb. And at the end of it, even WE were delighted with what we saw. Cesar does everything he can to make sure you're getting what you want. And he delivers. This was apparent from the very beginning. He’s got the experience and know-how to achieve what the customer wants, and he really cares that you’re satisfied with the work.

Price - Their quote was very reasonable & fair, and they stayed on budget. We definitely feel we got our money's worth.

Strong communication - Customer service is very important to me. I’m happy to say, these folks are very responsive. I could reach out at any time with questions or comments and felt very supported throughout the whole process. Even at the very end (when some contractors can peter out), Conber was with us the whole way through. You just don’t see this kind of customer service anymore.

Ideas - When we were stuck and looking for ideas, Cesar and Fabiola were always so helpful. Between Cesar sharing what he has done on other projects, and Fabiola searching for ideas & possibilities online, we got great guidance from them.

Construction crew - All their workers were very nice and & respectable. I felt very safe with this team in and out of our house (even during covid!). Very clean, neat & tidy. This is important to keep neighbors happy.

Flexibility - We added projects along the way and they were very accommodating.

Overall - Our entire experience went so well! The house has been transformed and we’re constantly getting compliments from the neighbors and friends as they come over! We plan on doing more work on the inside of the house next year and we will, for certain, be reaching out to Conber Construction. Highly, highly recommended.

By far THE BEST experience my family has had when it comes to working with contractors. From the first time meeting with Fabiola and Cesar when getting the estimate/quote up until the project was completed... it was such a smooth and stress free experience.

A kitchen and living room renovation has been in discussion for some time and it was just a matter of finding the right company for the job. We've had some eh experiences with prior contractors with projects at the house so it left an impression that kept us hesitant to look. This was not the case with Conber.

During the estimate they gave their suggestion as to what would work as far as what my wife was envisioning. They were very organized from the start. Taking measurements, writing notes, really going in depth as far as the project was concerned. Fabiola and Cesar answers all our questions and suggested what would work and what wouldn't and approximately how long it would take. We've told them our previous experience where the time took so much longer for whet was actually done. They said our renovation would be done it approx 6 weeks. Our previous renovation that was completed took 6 months and it was much smaller than the task we presented to Conber ! So you better believe we wanted to hire Fabiola and Cesar's company .

They got back to us with the quote very quick and then we went from there.

Fast forward to start of demolition..

The staff that Conber had working were so good! The timeliness, organization, and cleanliness of the job were on point! They said they'll be there at a certain time, they were there way before said time. They kept the demo mess where it belonged and it didn't find its way into places it didn't need to be.

The next step after the demolition was no different. They continued to be organized and efficient and always showed up in a timely fashion. We appreciated the fact that we knew what time to expect them and what time their end of day was. And it was always consistent unless we were notified. Which is a huge plus to me.

Another game changer was the fact that either Fabiola or Cesar would show up in the morning and at end of the working day to check on progress. That showed me that the project was just as important to them as it was to us. They also were just a phone call or text away so reaching them was never an issue.

Don't want the review to be much longer than it is already but the end product was nothing short of amazing. They gave a new life to the house. Everyone is so happy with the finished product. The only bad part of it all is that we won't be seeing Fabiola, Cesar, and the crew daily, it was something my daughter got used to.

To sum it all up we are glad we went chose Comber and we will not hesitate to reach out to them again for future projects. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for home projects.

We wanted to do a full remodel of our living room/ kitchen/ dining room area and make it an open concept. I got some quotes and input from other contractors, some said that what I wanted couldn’t be done, and others said that it would take about 6 months to a year to complete. But when I contacted Conber Construction, they said it was no problem at all and they could do it in less than 3 months! Fabiola, Cesar, and their team are the best, they listened to exactly what I wanted and they made it happen. Also their communication was great and prompt, and they answered all of the questions that I had. Fabiola was also very involved with every single detail, from choosing the floors, the paint color, the materials, the lighting, appliances, windows, and curtains. She took me to many stores that only she had access to that offered high quality materials for an unbeatable price! They also were able to start right away and got the job done in less than 3 months. Even after all the renovations were done, they checked up on us months later to make sure everything was still in great condition, and they fixed and replaced minor damages right away. It was such a pleasure working with their team I would definitely work with them again in the future.

Spoke with their foreman, I believe it was Abe who arrived late to the appointment. He took notes and video and said he would get back to us in 2 weeks. Well, 2 weeks went by and he didn't give us a response so I contacted him via phone and text at least 4 times. The last time, he said that he submitted it to the office so I contacted the office and left a message. This was months ago and still, nothing. We interviewed at least a dozen contractors and they were one of two that did not get back to us or follow up. This speaks volumes of their company, communication and organization. We obviously would never use them since they never gave us any response back!

Cornerstone Construction Service handled our full kitchen remodel after a leak from our upstairs neighbors the project ran from mid june through november with most of the work done by early september there were a few design mistakes some delays with materials and moments where oversight could’ve been better but that’s kind of expected with a big remodel
halfway through we also decided to upgrade our bathroom with a new vanity mirror and countertop and honestly that small upgrade made the bathroom look great they were also very respectful since we were living in the apartment during the whole project which we really appreciated
there were setbacks along the way but the team was upfront about everything and fixed issues when we pointed them out in the end we’re really happy with how everything turned out and wouldn’t hesitate to hire Cornerstone Construction Service

Made incorrect assessments about my property and sent me a bloated quote. I sought 2 other opinions to come to this conclusion. Do use use these folks unless you like being overcharged for work you do not need.

You get what you pay for. I'm a contractor, I flip homes for a living. They replaced 2 foundations for me. I had to wait 4 weeks to start work and I have to say, they are sloppy, dirty, and unprofessional. Very poor workmanship. I will NEVER use them again. Yes they passed city inspections but the work was terrible

Requested an estimate from Julian Construction. Guy who came out tells my mother in law, "This house is no good. Its not worth working on. Just sell it." Then he gives her a verbal estimate that is $30,000 more than the next highest estimate we have received. I called to speak to someone about the rude comments. Of course, no one was available, but they would "page a message to Shawn". Still waiting for a call back....

Julian Construction did a seismic retrofit for our home, and I would use them again. They pulled all the permits that were needed (the other companies we looked at told us we would have to do it ourselves), and they showed up right when they said they would. They were very professional, and completed the job in a half a day. Yeah for Julian Const.

Excellent experience working with foreman Juan, his crew, and Mayo in the office. They just finished leveling the floors on my duplex with serious foundation settlement. They were very thorough and explained what they were planning to do. Will definitely recommend them to friends.
