We recently completed a kitchen remodel with RCS Builders. We could not be happier with the result. We removed a half wall in the kitchen and a large brick wall with two fireplaces in the dining room to open up the space. There was a lot of structural work required to put in three new large beams and cement posts to support the roof. Art and his team were very reliable and efficient. Art was very hands-on and had great suggestions when asked. I love our new kitchen and would not hesitate to recommend Art and RCS Builders to my family and friends.

We just completed the re-design and construction of the front of our house with RCS Builders. Working with Art and his team was an absolute pleasure. The quality of construction is impressive, perfect cuts and joins, these guys are real craftsman. Additionally, as many clients are inclined, we made several design adjustments throughout the process and Art and his entire team (including subcontractors) always listened patiently and were happy to make each change. Another unique trait of RCS is that they are neat... they clean up the site at the end of each day so that all through the process, our house and yard remained comfortable. The result is that we have exactly what we had envisioned from the beginning and with no additional costs, even though the first phase of the project was bigger than expected.

In addition to the excellent quality of their work communicating with Art and his team was a breeze. Art was always responsive and highly organized... without a doubt, this was the most uniquely positive experience we've ever had in working with a general contractor. We have already recommended RCS to some local friends and will do the same as other friends/family have the need for a great builder. We plan to hire RCS again in the future for our next project as soon as their schedule permits.

We used Art and RCS to turn our 1930s kitchen/dining layout into a new open layout kitchen and dining room. We had a new baby at the time, so we really valued how quickly and cleanly Art and his team were able to complete our remodel. Their work included demoing the wall between the kitchen and dining, vaulting the ceilings, removing a window, and installing cabinetry, appliances, new flooring and counter tops. We couldn't be happier with the work and highly recommend RCS Builders.

Art and Cody at RCS were a true pleasure to work with. We used them a several years ago when completed a smaller project and were happy to use them again in building our detached garage and patio. The project was managed very well from start to finish both from the timing perspective and the budget perspective. For us, it was invaluable to have a contractor that we could trust to do right by us and to help us manage our budget.

We are beyond thrilled with the quality of the work and attention to detail. Art was able to provide us with great advice and insights into design as the project went along. My wife and I did a whole house refresh with Art and Cody at RCS Builders. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They worked nearly everyday from the start of the project through move back in day (including some weekends). The quality of the work was excellent and they made great recommendations along the way. There was no "upselling", just good logical recommendations at times where the choices can make or break the outcome. We really appreciated their help on layout changes, fixtures, trim, etc (the choices can be overwhelming).
The quotes were well detailed and they were happy to supply more detail if requested.

Jackson Layne Construction installed a very large sliding glass door requiring extensive detail work around the door on the home itself. Work was done efficiently, professionally, and awith precision. These folks seem result is a new door and perfect detail restoration. I heartedly recommend!

We had a great experience working with Jackson Layne Construction. They turned our backyard into a beautiful outdoor living space that we use all the time now. The scope included new paver patios and a full landscaping overhaul, upgraded electrical, retaining walls with built-in lighting, two outdoor kitchen islands with custom countertops, a bar counter, and built-in Lynx appliances, plus a pergola for shade. Jackson Layne Construction worked with my family on a custom ADU in Gilroy, CA. Coming from a construction background myself, I will say the thing that stood out to me was how honest they were up front. Most contractors will try to low ball you to get you in, banking on change orders or delays in the future to make up the cost. With Jackson Layne, I knew what my costs were going to be and the build quality was impressive. Seriously, various inspectors made it a point to remark on the quality of work. In addition, we passed every inspection first go- no re-inspections! This was due to the meticulous planning that occurred.
