We had some overgrowth from our neighbor's tree pushing on the roof of our detached garage that was becoming a bit hazardous.

The consultation appointment was easy to set up. Hannah came on site to assess and provided a real time quote, with a quick follow up for scheduling.

The team that arrived did an excellent job. They were quick and cleaned up as they went. Aside from our expertly trimmed trees, it was as if they were never here.

Highly recommended and I'll be using SavATree going forward.

The work crew from the estimate to the final clean up was very professional and knowledgeable about all the aspects of the job. They were extremely aware of and conscientious about the clean up in our neighbors yards that they had to use. The two man crew that did the removal was very efficient and thorough!!

Sean and SavATree did an outstanding job. I contacted three different tree companies to give me a price on pruning three large oak trees. As a standard practice I usually get at least two quotes for the purpose of clarifying the scope of work, understanding the companies qualifications and determining their quality of workmanship.

When I met Sean and he walked me through his qualifications as an arborists and he helped me clarify the scope of work. I knew he was going to be the company to do the job. They did an exceptional job at a fair price.

Eric was awesome, can’t say enough! Explained everything about what my trees needed and why, and even gave me some advice on trees and plants outside the project. He took his time to give me a free estimate on all parts of my job, broke down the costs, and worked with me according to my budget. I have two giant cypress and have received huge estimates for work that didn't need to be done. I appreciate the honesty and great customer service. Happy to have found a tree guy for our house!

I can’t recommend Eric from Save a Tree highly enough. When I noticed something wrong with our citrus tree, he responded quickly and came out to assess the situation. He identified a fungus problem right away and put together a clear plan to treat and save the tree. This isn’t just any tree. It’s been on our property for years and produces the sweetest oranges you’ve ever tasted. Family and friends literally ask us for them, and it’s become such a beloved part of our home. So when Eric told us the tree could be saved, it was a huge relief. What really stood out was Eric’s professionalism and knowledge. He knew exactly what he was looking at and explained everything clearly. If you’re on the fence about calling Save a Tree, just do it. It’s absolutely worth it to have a real Arborist who knows what they’re doing come take a look. We’re so grateful we found Eric!

After a period of high winds and heavy rains, the large pittosporum in our backyard starting to uproot and lean towards our home. We knew it would come down during the next storm. We frantically called arborists, but SavATree was the only one to pick up on Friday afternoon during the holidays. And we are so glad they did! They had a crew to out to our house first thing Monday. Everyone was fantastic and moved FAST. The large 40 feet tree was gone within a couple of hours and they left the yard spotless. The entire crew was friendly, helpful, and great at communicating. We are very grateful they responded so quickly and did such a great job. Now we have our go to arborists! 100% recommend.

Eric, Santos and Joseph really delivered a great experience from bidding to scheduling and getting the job done. The team was very accessible and responsive and checked in at each stage to make sure we were satisfied with the result.

My experience with this company was good. The arborist who initially came out to look at the tree that I needed to have removed, was full of information and good advice. They handled the project of getting the permit from the City of Oakland, and while getting the permit took some time, I'm quite sure that wasn't the fault of SavATree. This was a large tree and a two day job. The crew showed up on time, and the foreman gave me an accurate assessment of how long they would be working on both days. After the job was completed and the crew gone, I went out to inspect. The clean-up job wasn't perfect, but it was pretty good and what I had expected. I will get my regular landscape/gardener to do the more fine-tuned cleanup of the site.

The crew from Savatree are very friendly and experienced. Eric was great and did everything that was promised. I had a 45' tree they removed. They were done in half the time I thought it would take. They were very professional and did a great job cleaning up. I recommend them to anyone needing a tree removed.

I found SavATree to be super easy to work with. They quickly sent someone out to give me and estimate, and I could tell right away that they were knowledgeable about what my trees needed and how to properly prune them. They did a great job with all the pruning and cleaned up after themselves. The office staff were pleasant to work with too.

I highly recommend this company. I will definitely be hiring them for future projects. I had 3 huge palm trees cut down and a huge pine tree trimmed of deadwood, etc. I have lived here for over 35 years & this is only the second time I've had anything done to the pine tree. Hannah was a joy. Jose, Andre, Manuel and Hector worked so hard and were so pleasant. The price was very reasonable. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

Excellent all around! EVERYone was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Eric (the arborist) made the initial evaluation, gave thorough answers to my questions and emailed a solid estimate. The fertilizer & tree trimmer crews practiced safety and cleaned up after theselves. It was a good experience & I will hire them again!

What a wonderful experience! Eric was on time for the appointment, competent, and truly felt like he had my best interest at heart. I wanted a tree report to get a permit, so I could remove a tree in my front yard. Eric was open and honest about what the report would entail and the process and the likelihood of success in getting the city to allow me to remove the tree. Highly recommend this company!!!

easiest 5 stars ever. We worked with Hannah to assess what to do with the trees on our property, then Gilberto, and Juan for the removal and pruning of those trees. The whole process was less than a week from estimates to the actual work. Hannah was able to address all our questions an concerns and give great recommendations. Gilberto and Juan did removal and pruning work so fast and without leaving a trace. I felt the price was fair and explained thoroughly. Amazing experience, would highly recommend if you're in the market.

We had a great experience with this tree service from start to finish. Eric came out to provide the quote, and we really appreciated how thorough he was. We wanted all the trees on our property evaluated and trimmed if needed, and he took the time to walk through each one with us, explain what he was seeing, and offer thoughtful recommendations. It was clear he’s very knowledgeable, and it gave us a lot of confidence in moving forward with the company.

Their pricing was also the best out of the four quotes we received. The process felt organized and professional—Eric used a tablet to input all the services, and the total was calculated clearly, which felt much more reliable than other companies that seemed to estimate on the spot.

On the day of the job, Eric was there to guide the crew and make sure everything we discussed was carried out. The team worked for hours trimming the trees and did an excellent job cleaning up all the debris afterward. Our trees look fantastic, and the property was left very clean.

Our HOA in Hercules has been using Save a Tree Services for several years with great results. There are a lot of trees on our property that we must care for. Our relationship with our arborist, Elizabeth, continues to be an excellent resouce. Her passion, knowledge, integrity and commitment has guided us through yearly checks, tree care and special projects. Liz gives us good advice and good service; it's always enlightening to take a tree site walk with her. We have also been pleased with the quality of the work from the company: work is done in a timely fashion, with thoroughness and expertise. We look forward to continuing with save a tree and Elizabeth in the years to come.

She was transparent about during the initial consult so we knew what to anticipate once we got scheduled and what we could expect on the day the work would be done.
