Rebekah Krupka, SavATree's ISA-Certified Arborist, had visited our property in December to assess our large coastal redwoods and subsequently had proposed a tree trimming and pruning service for February 2026 as well as a deep-watering treatment in July 2026. Both of these proposals were extremely reasonable, and Rebekah was not only very thorough in examining the trees but highly professional in discussing what needed to be done and the best way to do it. She clearly knows (and adores) her job, has a lovely and friendly demeanor, and kept the health and longevity of our trees foremost in her mind as she made suggestions and gave very valuable advice. When her trimming/pruning crew came onto our property in February, they were clearly in control and knew exactly what needed to be done on the basis of Rebekah's notes and verbal instructions. They were very precise, cleaned up the debris left behind, and took pains to avoid damaging anything on our cement parking lot or any of the outdoor structures. Professionalism and thoroughness were key here, and this crew definitely had everything covered. They were courteous, answered all my questions about the pruning of the co-dominant leaders in some of the trees, and made sure they left no stone unturned. I expect that when the deep-watering crew comes in July, they will be just as reliable and hard-working. Overall, I was very impressed with the seriousness of this company. They truly stand out among other tree-trimming services and exude a real sense of responsibility and genuine care for the trees they take under their wing. I highly recommend them.

The team from Traverso was excellent. They removed a large dead tree on my property. I feel they went above and beyond taking care during removal and cleaning up after.
I also hired Traverso to remove large branches hanging over my house. They did an excellent job.
I will definitely hire Traverso again when I need tree service. -

Traverso Tree Service pruned my weeping cherry tree earlier this week : excellent job ! The tree is almost 40 years old and the pruning was done very professionally. Thank you Traverso !

Very professional. It is obvious they understand how trees should be trimmed to best advantage: health of the tree, shade and shape. We’ve been using them for a few years now.

They did a great job trimming dead branches safely on a few really large trees, which were close to homes. They cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Very pleased.

From the first phone call to the end of the job, everyone in this outfit was efficient, organized, neat, prompt, professional. We had 25 yr old plus redwoods removed to restore view and rid them of the multi-trunks; branches trimmed up to get them off roof; huge oak tree pruned.

Can you imagine working threat of being shot with a 357 weapon by some neighbor while working next door? Traverso Tree Service crew did...I am more than satisfied with the work done on my trees by TTS. Your crew was professional. Praise to your foreman and the men on the job for their diligence. They were courteous in the face of threatening verbal abuse from a neighbor and avoided conflict. The neighbor called the police and posted unkind remarks on Yelp regarding your company. When the police arrived to interview and document the incident, it was clear there was no trespassing or damage to his property. Of course, he was not there when the police arrived, but the officer was familiar with the "complaining disturbed" neighbor. The job was finished as promised on the work order. I am pleased and highly recommend TTS!
Hire them if you want a job well done! -
Fantastic, professional service. Raphael (certified arborist) gave us an estimate that involved removing much less of our trees than "some other guy" resulting in preserving them perfectly! He even came out on the day of the work to ensure it was done the way he wanted. All of the crew were professional and courteous. Highly recommended.

Traverso has been taking care of my parents trees as long as I can remember and now that I have my own home with trees to maintain I can see why it was Traverso doing the work for all that time. They're knowledgeable and professional, friendly and informative. Plus they take great care of their workers. You wont find a better company to work with.

We just used Traverso Tree for the first time, we had a fallen Acacia, and much overgrowth and some safety concerns with many of the trees on our property, we requested haul away services too, it was a two day job, but they were so quick and professional, they even swept and blew away the excess saw dust. They did a great job, and I would absolutely use them again and recommend their services. I wish I had more before and after photos but I'll post what I can. The trees that they thinned looked so natural, they were careful to not drop any trimmings onto the neighbors yards, even when they had to move our neighbors planter to get the crane in the driveway, they remembered to move everything back where it was. That level of consideration and care is so rarely found. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I got bids from five different vendors for the removal of seven trees, all of which were more than 60 feet tall. Treverso was actually a bit more expensive than three of the others, but I chose them for two reasons.
First, a very knowledgable certified arborist named Rhys gave me a written bid 10 minutes after he arrived. The other four vendors said they would send me a bid the next day, but it generally took them 3-10 days to get me a bid.
Second, and more important, Traverso ground the stumps down 18" below the surface of the ground. The others ground stumps down about 4-6".
My decision turned out to be a good one and I recommend Traverso without hesitation.
They brought a crew of five guys, two huge cranes, a huge wood chipper that devoured limbs, and a very large, remote-control stump grinder. I'm sure they also do much smaller jobs, where guys climb trees with chainsaws, but my trees were huge and the equipment matched the job.
They would wrap a chain around the tree limb about 2/3 of the way up, and then cut off the branch at the point where it intersected the trunk. The huge crane would then move the 40+ foot branch directly to the chipper, where two guys fed it into the chipper, with the chain still attached for more than half of the limb. They took down seven trees in less than 5 hours, and ground the stumps down 18 inches, as promised.
Another thing in their favor: I had one stump that was surrounded by shrubs. I should have removed the shrubs before they got here (we are relandscaping the entire yard), but I didn't. The shrubs prevented the stump grinder from removing the center of the stump down as far as they promised. It looked OK at the time, but after the landscape crew cleared out all the shrubs two weeks later, we discovered that the grinder missed some of the stump. They came back and took care of it, at their expense.
Traverso is a first class operation. I learned from the crew that the company has been around for more than 30 years while the owner, John Traverso, is retired from leadership. he still trains people, and most of his employees have worked for him for years.
Traverso was not the least expensive, at least in my case, but they did a fabulous job and I would not hesitate to use them again.
