Raymond was the technician who came out to clean and inspect my chimney, and he did a fantastic job. He worked quickly and was very polite, finishing the chimney inspection and sharing the results with me right away. I really appreciated his honesty—he only recommended what was actually needed for my fireplace and didn’t try to push any extra services. I’ll definitely call again whenever I need help with my chimney in the future.

elias and his crew were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. during the first visit, elias was the only chimney sweep who noticed signs that we had a chimney fire before. now we feel safe and secure with our new chimney liner. i really appreciate the attention to detail and professionalism from RSC Chimney Cleaning.

I had my old home’s fireplace and chimney checked and cleaned. The team from RSC Chimney Cleaning was very professional and clearly knew what they were doing. Raymond explained everything in detail and gave helpful advice about keeping my chimney safe. Their tools looked modern and well cared for, and they made sure to leave everything tidy after finishing up. Both workers were friendly and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend their chimney sweep services to anyone needing a good, reliable job.

I reached out to RSC Chimney Cleaning to get both of our chimneys cleaned and inspected at our home in Mountain View. We were already aware that one of the chimney liners was really blocked, and this was confirmed when Elias did a thorough video inspection. After they cleaned the first chimney, we talked about what it would take to fix up the second one and got a clear estimate for the needed work. We set up a time for the job, and when Raymond and his team arrived, they got right to work. Removing the old liner turned out to be tough, but they kept at it for a few more days until everything was done perfectly. Throughout the process, they made sure to keep our home clean, taking care to cover nearby areas and clean up all the dust and soot. They even hauled away all the debris from the old liner. I’m very happy with the service and would highly recommend this team for anyone needing chimney cleaning or repairs. The crew was friendly, professional, and really cared about doing a great job.

I needed a Level 2 inspection for my furnace flue and wanted to make sure everything was safe before using my fireplace this season. I had another company come out before, and they found a bunch of 'problems' and quoted me a really high price to fix them. To double-check, I reached out to a couple more places, including this chimney sweep company. Their prices were much more reasonable, and their customer service was excellent. Every time I called with questions, someone picked up right away and explained the process clearly. Raymond came out for the inspection—he was very friendly, on time, and explained everything he was doing. I felt much better after he completed a thorough check and told me there were no issues. Great experience overall and I would definitely recommend them for chimney inspections and sweeps.

I had my fireplace checked and swept by Raymond. He was quick, professional, and left everything tidy. Raymond explained the process and made sure my chimney was safe and ready to use. I could tell he knew what he was doing and had plenty of experience. I’ll definitely call RSC Chimney Cleaning again and would gladly recommend their chimney sweep services to anyone in Mountain View.

Absolutely outstanding service! The chimney sweep technician, Elias, was very professional and explained each step of the process. He made sure the fireplace was spotless and even gave me a call before arriving, which I really appreciated. Everything was done right on schedule. I will definitely have them come back to service my fireplace again. Highly recommend for anyone needing chimney cleaning!

Absolutely recommend this chimney sweep company! I reached out with several questions about getting tuckpointing done on two chimneys, making sure my chimney caps would keep raccoons out, and having an inspection and cleaning for an old wood-burning stove. Raymond came to do the inspection and gave me very helpful advice. He explained that the stove would need a lot of repairs and updates to be safe, so he suggested holding off on cleaning it unless I planned to go ahead with the repairs. Raymond really took the time to explain everything clearly. I also needed the chimney work done quickly because my new roof project was waiting on these repairs. Elias came by soon after to provide an estimate, and he was able to fit me into his schedule for the following week. Every time they scheduled a visit, they arrived right when they said they would, and made sure everything was neat and clean before leaving. My chimneys are in tricky spots, and I had gotten several other repair estimates—some companies turned down the job, while others gave me much higher prices. One even wanted me to rent special equipment for a lot of extra money. Elias and Raymond handled the setup themselves, using scaffolding from my upper deck for one chimney and working carefully around power lines for the other. They made a tough job look easy. Elias did the tuckpointing and replaced the crowns on both chimneys. The results were excellent, and they even went the extra mile to tidy up a small detail at the end of the day that I hadn't even noticed. Raymond also put a mothball in the chimneys before replacing the caps, which solved my raccoon problem without needing expensive or harsh methods. The cost for the caps was also much better than other quotes I received. On top of the great chimney work, these guys were just genuinely nice. Raymond took down an old antenna from my roof and hauled it away for me, and Elias cleaned up an area of the house that had some marks left by other contractors—all just as a friendly gesture. If you need any chimney or fireplace service in Mountain View, don’t hesitate to call these professionals. Their work, attention to detail, and customer service were all fantastic.

For years, I had issues with birds making nests in my chimney every spring, leaving a mess of droppings in my fireplace. The team came out and installed a chimney cap to keep birds out for good.
