Armen was responsive and timely with our diagnostic on our dishwasher. He was very straightforward and honest about whether it was worth it to repair or replace. As he said, hopefully, we never have to call him, but I would definitely call if needed.

Armen was on time, made the repair quickly and was a great conversationalist. He fixed our gas dryer at a very reasonable price and at the same time I enjoyed our little chat.

I'd give 6* if I could.
My dryer belt snapped and I got a quote over the phone. He came out same day and got my dryer back up in no time. He even let me know that some parts in the pulley system were in great condition and didn't need to be replaced reducing my over all bill.
Very honest and hardworking man. He could have easily replaced the good parts ( or not ) and continued to charge me as quoted. I recommend to anyone needing a technician.

I recently had the pleasure to be served by Octagon Appliance Repair company and I must say that I am very impressed with the level of service that I received. I had a problem with my Samsung refrigerator and I had contacted two other companies for quotes, but their prices were way too high. However, this company was able to fix the issue for almost 3 times less than the other quotes I received, which was a huge relief for me.

When the technician arrived at my home, he was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue and explained what needed to be done to fix it. Called today for a Dryer repair in Oceanside. Armen was very responsive and professional. He arrived on time and provided a fair and honest price for the work. I own a rental business and deal with a lot of contractors and repairmen, unfortunately honesty and fair pricing isn’t always the rule. It’s refreshing to work with someone like Armen who did a great job, by the way. I will be using him again in the future for any appliance repair, and would recommend his service to anyone.

The most honest appliance repair person I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I am so glad we found Arman. He came over right away on a rainy Saturday, diagnosed the issue and fixed our fridge. He was also a pleasure to talk to. I will call him the next time I have any appliance needing repair and recommend him to anyone needing a trustworthy and reasonably priced repair person.

Armen is awesome! Very professional, very friendly and knows what he is doing. My “older”refrigerator was icing the return vent and he explained why it was happening and the part to fix it. He was honest and said it’s not worth it since the refrig is 16 years old. Even though he could have made more money he said save your money and go get another one. He temporarily fixed what I have now and it’s working much better. Honesty goes a long way now days so he will be my repair guy for anything else I need him for. Oh and he came in just a few hours when other places were quoting 2-3 days!!!

Armen was able to come out within an hour of calling him. He was upfront about his pricing, and gave us an honest assessment that our dryer should be replaced and it wouldn't be cost-effective for us to pay him to replace parts. We appreciated his honesty and will call him for future appliance issues.

What a great experience! Service like it should be. I had a dishwasher failure. I was offered two appointment options for same day service. I was provided a Friendly, honest, transparent assessment of my problem.

It turns out that my machine was past its useful life but fixable…most techs would just sell you on an expensive repair. Instead I got an honest opinion that this was not worth spending money on and recommendations on purchasing a better replacement (at no financial benefit to the company) and a very reasonable call fee.

This will be my go to appliance repairer from now on!!!

Wonderful service. Great repair skills, Amazingly economical.
Armen figured out what was wrong with our fridge, when 3 visits from another repair service could not. The other service replaced parts yet the icemaker still leaked water into the fridge, and the fridge had areas where food would freeze solid.
Armen showed up on time, figured out what was wrong with our fridge in about 10 minutes, then he looked at our broken dryer door. The cost for his service call was almost $100 less than the competition and he could come out sooner. He was willing to come the day I called!
Honest businessman: He showed us the costs for the parts, which we paid, then called when the parts came in, showed up on time (again) and had everything running in next to no time. He was kind enough to provide us a discount since we are both veterans.
He has a very dry sense of humor, great stories to tell if you have time to chat, and is very courteous.
Octagon is the only repair service we will call from now on, I highly recommend them.

Armen is amazing. Our refrigerator wasn’t working properly and I found his name on google. His reviews were great and I had no personal contacts for broken appliances.
I called him and he was available that same day to come and assess the issue with my refrigerator. He was kind, thorough and very, very affordable.
Our refrigerator is working perfectly now - he bought the part yesterday and came today to replace and Repair the broken part. We are so thankful that we have an awesome and reliable repair guy who is an Oceanside resident.

I highly recommend Octagon Appliance Repair. Armen was very responsive and flexible in scheduling our initial service call and his follow up has been excellent. He ordered the parts we needed for our Bosch double oven and was able to repair it for about half the price of another quote we received. He was extremely helpful and really knows what he’s doing!

My wife informed me that our Bosch dishwasher was throwing an error code, and after a few YouTube videos I decided to call a professional. Of the 3 calls I made, Octagon Appliance (Armen) was the only one who called back and was eager to help. In less than 20 minutes I was scheduling an appointment on his website and less than 24 hours later, our dishwasher is fixed. My wife is happy. Due to our custom cabinets, the re-installation of our dishwasher took extra time, which Armen didn’t charge us for. He stuck to his quoted price and was a pleasure dealing with. A+
