Jordan took his time giving my A/C a thorough yearly tune-up snd explained his findings. I appreciated his concern for keeping my carpeting clean during the process. I used Moffett last year and would gladly use them again.

Scott of Tom Moffett Plumbing came back to check out a leak that I thought may be related to the recently installed new water heater. Since there wasn’t any related problem with the new water heater, he spent time around our 1/2 acre and 3500 SF home to find the leak source. Amazingly, Scott found the leak source at our rear property bathroom toilet. The service & professionalism by Scott (Detective Plumber) is second to none. The excellent service at Tom Moffett Plumbing is worth the time to check out. Scott is my “go to” plumber. I have regained my faith in “Customer Service. “

April, 2025- Had an issue with my water heater and went ahead and replaced it. Once everything was opened up, I found a slab leak, directly under the unit. I contacted Moffett Plumbing and they dispatched someone within 2 hours to diagnose the problem. Brian showed up, very knowledgeable, and found an easy solution. It was late in the day so he got my water back up and running, by isolating the issue. They came back the next day and made the repair/re-route.
Great job and very professional. Not the cheapest, but excellent quality of work and available when needed. You get what you pay for. I've worked with them in the past a few times and they have always exceeded my expectations.

Jonathan did an awesome, clean job. He replaced my water heater in a timely and efficient manner. Can I stress, there was no mess! I feel I got a great deal on a great water heater with fantastic service.
Now years later I had a shower leak and Brian replaced everything. My 70 year old shower looks brand new. Brian does a great job. He is kind and goes above and beyond.

Pros: very responsive

Cons: $86-87 for assessment of high water pressure for single family home.

$6,000 quote for fix ($1,700 for parts alone). Received upsell of “discount price if join membership”for $20/month.

After talking to other plumbing companies it turned out the job was $1,000-1,300 ($480 for parts).

While they were checking water pressure they accidentally (I’d like to think) took my own water pressure gauge with them. Tried to have it returned but unsuccessful. So basically it got stolen.

Wouldn’t recommend.

Vincent was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed my toilet problem, an easy fix, and didn’t charge me (the plumber I called first wanted to charge over $600 for unnecessary work). Vincent then went around the house, inside and out, taking care of leaks and other plumbing issues. Also, I had been putting off installing a Toto Washlett toilet seat for months. Vincent installed it for me for their usual fee. Vincent’s assistant for the day, Edwin, was also very helpful.

Giovanni and Levi have been so dedicated to getting the job done. Very professional and great at what they do, plus very communicative with us..Great employees you have Mr Moffett😊👍

Every facet of my experience with Moffett Plumbing & Air was impeccable. Jessica, the dispatcher called to let me know that Rudy, the plumbing technician, was on his way. He was on time and was so cleanly (shoe covers, gloves, face mask).

I had a clogged drain in my dishwasher that was starting to emit a foul odor. He laid down a rug and proceeded to fix the problem efficiently. He noticed that my sink faucet was "wobbly" too so he tightened it for me, free of charge.

After Rudy fixed the clog, he cleaned under the sink and the area around the dishwasher until it was spotless. He wrote an invoice with exactly what he had done and went over the straightforward pricing guide with me.

I would highly recommend Moffett Plumbing & Air! In fact, I won't use anyone else!!!

Vince & Alberto with Moffett Plumbing were AWESOME!! I can’t say enough great things about the work that they’ve done. They’re friendly, polite, professional and explained everything to me so that I could understand. They also took the time when my husband came home mid-job to explain things to him as well. We had a strong smell from inside the kitchen cabinets for the last few years on and off and worse when warm outside. I finally got fed up and looked around online and found sewer smoke testing (which is never even heard of) for my area and we were dispatched Vince & Alberto with Moffett Plumbing and I couldn’t have asked for better guys for the job. I’d never heard of the plumbing company prior to today and they’re the diamond in the rough of companies it seems. They were prompt, professional, and took their time to make sure the issue was completely resolved from the moment they walked through the door. We’ll be using Moffett Plumbibg again and asking for a Vince and Alberto should we ever need to in the future as well as recommending them both to friends and family.

Super impressed by this team, their knowledge, their quality of work, and their communication. We worked with Jordan, Frankie, and Francisco after meeting with multiple other specialists. The Moffett team found/debunked critical things that others didn’t, and resolved them in a timely manner. They treated the job like it was their home (advising us on what should be done now and what to save our money on) which was greatly appreciated.

Jordan came out and assessed our non-existent leak. He was thorough and walked me off the cliff of making holes in my walls. He saved me money, as I was fully convinced I had a leak somewhere in my ducting. He was kind, professional, and left my home clean and just the way he found it. His thermal gun proved that our system was working as designed. He gave recommendations based on our future need, which I will definitely consider.

Vince and Landon did a sewer smoke test at my house. They were great! Will be using Moffett for our future plumbing needs based on our great experience with them.

We have been members of Moffett Plumbing’s “Family Club” for years and have spent thousands of dollars on various services over the years. Until recently, we trusted them completely.

During our most recent annual check, the initial technician did not identify any significant issues. Shortly after, however, a manager was sent to our home and the tone of the visit changed dramatically. We were suddenly presented with “urgent” and costly repairs that supposedly needed immediate attention.

What made this especially concerning was that the items they recommended replacing were things Moffett Plumbing had previously installed or replaced themselves. It felt less like an honest maintenance check and more like an aggressive upsell attempt using fear-based messaging.

As long time customers, this experience was disappointing and eroded our trust. I called the office to share my concerns and never received a return call. After weeks of waiting, I ultimately had to call back myself to cancel our membership.

It’s unfortunate to end a relationship after being loyal customers for so long, but the sales pressure and lack of follow-up made it clear we needed to move on.

We had an excellent experience with this plumbing company from start to finish. Brian was our plumber and he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and left the area spotless when he was done. Highly recommend, especially if you get Brian!

Overpriced and poor customer service. DO NOT SIGNUP FOR MEMBERSHIP. Had a good first visit/repair with Brian Rowles who fixed our water heater last Dec. I made the mistake of not shopping around since I heard about Moffett via Placentia Buzz. But everything went downhill from there. Of course they found other issues to fix that was over $1000 during the first visit and I declined. (I discovered their prices are at least double what other plumbers charge and I know they keep justifying the extra cost on the customer for their overhead.) Was convinced to sign up for the membership for at least the annual maintenance checks. First heater maintenance appt scheduled in May. First technician was nice but not very experienced so he called another older tech (Steve) to come take a look. Steve showed up hours after estimated appt window with no notice. His excuse was poor cell reception in the area he was working in. He basically said we needed a new unit but when I asked for an estimate he said he wanted to wait until my husband was also available so he didn’t have to repeat himself twice. I explained I can relay the message and it’s not easy for my husband to take time off work. He still wouldn’t give me an estimate. Just an overall aggressive attitude. I responded to the feedback email saying I didn’t have a good experience. I also requested to cancel my membership which I didn’t read all the fine print and found out I can’t cancel until 12 months. Someone called me back regarding my feedback and apologized and said they would look into canceling my membership and get back to me. Of course I never heard back and just waited and paid the $20/mo. I finally emailed on 11/19/25 to cancel. Jennifer Barker responded and told me to send the cancellation request email to Victor Garcia. I can’t imagine their company is so big they can’t forward messages amongst themselves but whatever, I emailed Victor. No response and on 12/1/25 I got another monthly charge. I emailed Victor again. On 12/5/25 I received confirmation of the cancellation. I asked for a refund for the last charge and included Jennifer on the email. As of 12/16/25 I still have not received a response.

Paul and Rene were amazing!! They were so helpful and efficient - definitely making them our new go to plumbers. Couldn’t rate them any higher!
