The owner, Jonathan, personally came to meet me, and his deep knowledge of both the remediation process and navigating insurance was incredibly reassuring. What truly sealed the deal was his commitment to using his own small, dedicated team—no subcontractors.

Throughout the entire process, I felt genuinely supported. Jonathan was always available, guiding me through the insurance maze and making sure I understood every step. The entire JW team was kind, respectful, professional, and clearly experienced. At a time that was emotionally difficult for my family, they made everything feel manageable and seamless.

The final result was excellent, and just as importantly, the customer service was outstanding. I always felt like I was in good hands. I highly recommend Jonathan and the team at JW Home Care—they truly care about their clients and their work.

After the devastating Palisades Fire in January 2025 damaged our home, we were overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. We interviewed a few of the big remediation companies, but were uncomfortable with their aggressive sales tactics and impersonal approach. Then we met with Jonathan, the owner of JW Home Care, a family-owned business with a tight-knit, highly experienced crew, and we knew we found the right company. Jonathan was confident that his team could get our home back to pre-fire condition efficiently and for a fair price.

From the very first visit, the remediation team was professional, compassionate, and thorough. Their team worked quickly but with incredible attention to detail, treating our home as if it were their own.

Both Jonathan and Brandon, the onsite manager, patiently and promptly answered every phone call, email, and text before, during, and after the remediation process. Their excellent communication always made us feel like we were their only clients. Brandon's meticulous photographic documentation of our personal property and uncanny ability to recall where even the smallest item was placed are an invaluable tool in our insurance claim process and have saved us countless hours of work.

Thanks to JW Home Care, our house feels like home again. I would highly recommend this company to anyone facing smoke or fire damage—they truly go above and beyond.

As first time homeowners, we were really nervous about coming across water damage in the kitchen and had no idea where to turn and how to file a claim with our insurance. Since the damage was extensive and our homeowners insurance would be involved, Jonathan also referred us to Patrick from Golden Cost Claims (also local) who helped guide us through the claims process and made sure we were adequately compensated for the necessary repairs. Something I definitely would not have been able to navigate confidently on my own.

Together, Jonathan and Patrick made our kitchen repairs almost effortless on our part. Jonathan kept us informed and updated at every turn and his team worked quickly and efficiently to restore our kitchen to so much better than it was before.

Hiring him and his team on was the best decision we made in what could have otherwise become a disaster in repairs and a financial strain. After losing my home in a fire, their team went above and beyond to assist with the fire damage inspection, removal of personal items that were damaged during the fire, and navigating the overwhelming process. Jonathan was very professional, honest, and consistently quick to respond to every question I had.

Not only did they provide a very fair deal, but they also made the experience far less stressful by helping communicate directly with my insurance adjuster. Their support, transparency, and efficiency made a world of difference during a very difficult time.

Roy and his team have done an excellent job overall cleaning the pool and spa for many years! On the Maintenance and Repair side, he has installed top of the line equipment that not only keeps the pool clean and makes maintenance easy, but makes it simple and convenient when we want to heat the pool or the jacuzzi when having friends and family over. Auto-fill, Variable Speed Pump with a schedule, high-end high-volume fast heater, The PoolCleaner™ Vacuum, Auto-Salt System, Auto-Chlorinator, Full Automation through the app; it all equates to an awesome pool and spa experience!!! The new lighting with multiple color patterns was a nice touch! Plus, when the adjacent concrete, Pebble Tech, and tile also needed to be redone, the finished product was great! Please note: just like paying more for an Apple, YETI, Coach, Allen Edmunds, etc. product to get the high quality you expect, do not expect to pay dirt cheap for So Cal Pool Sharks. You get what you pay for, so the pricing is not gonna compete with the cheapest pool guy who disappoints you in the long run. If you’re looking for your pool to look great and be ready to use for family and friends year-round, excellent service and simple or advanced Maintenance and Repair, talk to Roy with So Cal Pool Sharks.
