Mike is absolutely amazing. I broke our dryer by throwing clothes in there that were too wet. We have a toddler so no dryer = emergency. No problem for Mike. I broke the thing at 4 and he came by at 6 that day. Diagnosed the problem, was super friendly and professional. After getting the parts together he came back and fixed it for good at an amazing price. Honest, efficient, genuine and a true pro. Support local business and don’t hesitate to call him.

Michael was responsive on my call to him, he was sure our compressor went out on our fridge without looking at it. He came out and confirmed it was the compressor, he ordered it and within a few days he was here with a new compressor. He spent several hours here between his first call the. The installation, he was wonderful and I would never call anyone else for repairs. I highly recommend him!

My tenants called me on a Wednesday morning complaining that the washing machine wasn’t functioning properly. I called Michael at RepairBest and he came out (on time) the very next day. He took apart the machine and quickly diagnosed the problem. He sent me pictures and explained exactly what was going on. We discussed the various options and ultimately decided that it would make more sense to replace the machine than to repair it. He left without asking for payment for his time or advice. Michael was very professional and left a positive impression on my tenants. Posting this review is the best way I can repay his kindness.

I will absolutely recommend Michael to anyone needing an appliance repair. We have a 10-yr old Viking Pro refrigerator that just stopped cooling and freezing. Michael did a diagnosis and recommended replacing the compressor. In 3 days he came back with the part, installed it, and now the fridge is as good as new. All systems are functioning well. My LG washing machine would not drain. I called LG for advice and repair references, but It was late in the day and LG was closed. I looked online and called a few local repair shops and selected RepairBest Appliance Repair by luck. Michael was professional and scheduled a visit for the next day. Michael arrived on time the next day with his colleague. They immediately went to work and in no time found the defective pump. They had the pump assembly on-hand and replaced it. I was promptly back to washing clothes in less than 24 hours. It has been almost two weeks and everything is working fine.

This is the third time Michael has helped with our appliance repairs.This time he fixed our Maytag washer dryer unit. Last time he came to fix our Bosch dishwasher and now it works perfectly. He also fixed our fridge when it stopped working a few years ago, and never takes more than an hour to get the job done!

We have a combination of old and new appliances and he is our go-to for fixing our appliances! Fantastic job every time.

I had an issue with my Samsung french door refrigerator where ice would build up on the bottom shelve and drawers. Michael arrived to our apartment timely and was extremely professional throughout my interaction with him. He explained what the likely issue was and quoted a price for the part and labor, which seemed very fair and reasonable. He was very quick and diligent at replacing the part and our fridge has been working without any problems since. We are very happy with the service we received and will be definitely returning to this place for all our appliance needs in the future!

Our dryer had not been working well for several months—temp not hot enough, or no heat at all. I’d called another repair shop and, although very professional, I didn’t think they’d spent enough time trying to diagnose the problem. They recommended buying a new machine.

I saw some very stellar reviews of Michael’s business on a Google search and decided to try him. I’m glad I did. His first of two visits was spent trying to source the problem. He spent about an hour and felt sure he knew what was causing our issues—a failing gas valve. He ordered a new valve immediately and, once installed (second visit), the dryer worked perfectly.

Michael was super-thorough and very professional. He spent a lot of time thinking the problem out and saved us having to purchase another dryer. His charges were very reasonable.

Michael is very knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing. He recently repaired a clothes dryer for me as well as our dishwasher. The dishwasher was a complicated repair that took multiple visits to fix. Both appliances working great now.

Michael of M & G Appliances is an excellent repairman who goes out of his way to complete a job successfully. For example, I had an old KitchenAid microwave-oven wall combination & the microwave broke. While the whirlpool repair line said it was too old to fix, Michael managed to find the parts needed on the secondary market and brought it back to life. He has fixed my clothes dryer, dishwasher and oven. All for very reasonable prices. He’s very honest about advising me when it’s a better option to replace an appliance than to fix it. And typically, he doesn’t make me wait a long time time before arriving for a job no matter how small it is; sometimes he will squeeze me in to assess the problem then return once parts arrive, for example. I cannot commend enough this very intelligent, skilled and honest repairman enough

Let's face it, these days appliances are not made to last. I've been a customer of RepairBest going on 10 years, and Mike has provided repair services on all my major appliances. Everything was perfect! Fair price and fast professional service.

I called and set an appointment for him to come out and check my washing machine. It took him about 20 minutes to diagnose the issue. He gave me a quote that included everything (parts, labor, tax). I paid the deposit electronically. He left, ordered the parts, and called me 2 days later when the parts came in. He came out that same day and spent about 20 minutes fixing my washer and now it worked perfectly!
