Other reviews scared me and made me hesitant of this company. Their responsiveness is not there, but honestly, David, our technician was great. He was very knowledgeable and we are pleased with his work. Not mad at the job done, wished there was better communication with my home warranty and the company.

The worest plumbing company ever..instead of solving a small clogged in the kitchen sink they wanted to charge me $675 plus the $150 service call to the warrenty company. Thr technician, David, did not even test/try to solve the issue. He said he will need to break the drywall to install his machine. DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOME

I was on vacation for a few weeks and when I came home there was a small amount of water at the Water Heater. My Home Warranty company sent out DCP. I was told I needed a new unit even though mine isn’t that old. DCP quoted over $2,000 for a new unit and couldn’t afford it. The unit never leaked again and that was months ago that they came out.

Complete waste of time. David D showed up to my house asked what the problem was worth my water heater. I was able to produce the error code. He proceeded to Google what the problem was. He never even opened the water to look at anything. He then said well google said it could be your heating rods or a blocked air vent. They aren't responsible for routine maintenance. BUT HE NEVER OPENED THE WATER HEATER TO CHECK THE RODS. He closed my claim with my warranty company. Now I have to start everything all over again. Thanks for the waste of time direct connection plumbing. Worst company ever.

The second plumber from this company was able to find AND repair all the plumbing issues we had with our house. The first was less than motivated and was not even able to find a cleanout! We had a backed up kitchen sink and a non-functioning first floor toilet that Caesar (second plumber) was able to repair. He needed to cutout the root infestation in the house line to the street, but was also able to show us what was going on in the pipe with the use of a camera. Outstanding. All is working fine now. If you need a plumber from this company, ask for Caesar. I am tempted to give a five star even though the first plumber was a complete dud, but it took too long to get Caesar here. I'll know what to do next time.

If your gone warranty sends these guys out don’t let them touch your house. Whole company is a joke. They “adjusted” our water pressure and then didn’t check after and just left and now it won’t sustain pressure can’t even fill up a tub. All before a three day weekend with family coming in town to stay with us. She said sorry best we can do is after the weekend. Stay away. Stay far away

If there was an option of rating 0 stars i would have done. Looking at other reviews now i wish if i had read them before engaging with this company.

For just $50 in changing my faucet they gave me an estimate of $250 and that too they didn't discuss this with me rather informed my warranty company. When i confronted them why it wasn't discussed with me before Saul, the plumber just said sorry.

I guess they are scheming with warranty companies and trying to rip you off.

    Please stay away.

I never write reviews, however this time I could NOT excuse the lack of professionalism!!! We had a service call with Adam the technician Friday morning. He assured me he would submitt the service report to my insurance company that evening for a replacement water heater. We'll, it's Monday and he still hasn't submitted the report!!! I called customer service and spoke with Monica, she was rude and condensing. Monica stated my service call wasn't considered an emergency and Adam MIGHT have it done by this evening. Which means we wouldn't get a water heater replaced until Wednesday at best. What would make DCP think it's ok to keep a family without hot water for days during the winter ?! Do yourself a HUGE favor and never use this company. They don't care about customers at ALL. I wish I could give Direct Connection Pluming ZERO STARS.

My home warranty referred me to this company. I called to schedule an appointment. the rep was so rude and acted like she was doing me a favor. I have called 3 times to talk with a manager, but he is never in. When I tried to ask her a question, she hung up on me. I called Home warranty to cancel them before they come to my house. I will NEVER use them. I had Home warranty give me a different contractor.

The worst experience I've had dealing with any business. It took almost a week to get my leak fixed. I got stood up on 3 separate days after taking off work to meet the plumber. The plumber was almost 2hrs late to a 4hr scheduled window. They took twice as long as I was told it would take to fix. I had to clean up after they left because they left a mess. On top of all of that they tried to charge me an extra $400 more then what was agreed upon. I will never use this business for anything ever again. I would never recommend this company for anything. Stay away. Would give 0 stars if I could. If our home warranty didn't send them out I would have dropped them after the first missed appointment and called someone else.

This has been a bad experience all around. They are used by First American Home Warranty and they always fail in service, appointments etc. This is another reason why I don't refer this company to anyone-caused major anxiety with tenants and homeowners when they have companies that offer such bad service

My home warranty sent David out from Direct Connection Plumbing. He brought a 10 year old child with him dressed in the the company uniform. He looked at the pipe that had a leak and said it's covered but he didn't know how much and they would have to get back to me and left. On Monday I received a text that my appointment required a follow up and that someone would reach out to schedule with me. On Friday I called my home warranty to let them know I hadn't heard back and they told me David submitted a report that my issue is not covered and that he and another guy worked on it and it's pre-existing. I thought ok maybe the report was attached to the wrong property since he didn't work on anything and he brought a kid with him and not another guy. After three phone calls to DCP and to my home warranty the issue is not resolved and they closed the claim. So now I have to start all over again. The blessing is this: after seeing all these terrible reviews, I realize this is a blessing that this man did not work on my home. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Do yourself one HUGE and GIGANTIC favor. Avoid this company at all cost! They will delay, postpone and/or schedule service without any urgency. After which they will send out technicians having been informed by the technician that necessary equipment is broken. So after waiting for an over-extended period to have someone come out, now the technician comes but can not solve the problem because after informing supervisors etc. the needed equipment broke the days before and they would not replace it, you must now reschedule. Both kitchen sinks were clogged/backed up and our Water Heater was completely out. Also upon the first visit nothing was done about the Water Heater. The technician simply took notes and we were informed this would be another lengthy process as things would first need to be approved etc., We ended up even though we pay our warranty company each and every month an excess of $51.00 having to pay over $900.00 which was really unexpected. So we asked for a discount if at all possible. Diana, said she was able to provide a %10 discount and said if we desired anything in excess of this she would have to speak to a supervisor and call us back. 3 days or so went but no response from Diana. The water heater was installed. I called Diana and she indicated she spoke with a supervisor and they were not able to even do the 10% discount that she had offered us. Needless to say they ran the credit card of ours they had on file without any attempt to make contact or communicate for the full price. This even though we had expressed all regarding the proposed discount to the technician that came out. This company absolutely does not care what anyone's situation is. Whether your kitchen sinks are backed up for weeks or you have no available hot water at your dwelling for weeks! And what I have shared is not the whole of our bad experience but hopefully it does suffice. You have been forewarned. Another one of the services on the work order to date still has not been completed.

They came out and fixed my plumbing problem in less than ten minutes. The plumbing problem was due to a previous plumbing company, which I won't mention, coming out and only doing half of a job. I highly recommend this company.

We contacted Direct Connection and explicitly said we had a leaky faucet. They showed up and said the work order was for the water heater and they would come back the next week. The came back the next week and said the work order was for a water heater AGAIN and they would come back the next day. The next day it was a no show, no call, no text. They got back to us hours later and said they'll return in a few days.
We had to turn our water off because the drippy faucet is now a stream. This is the worst experience we've ever had with a plumbing company and I wish we could give them 0 stars.

EDIT/UPDATE: They were supposed to show up a few days later and it was another no call, no show. We called the warranty company and found out they closed our case without fixing the problem. We called a separate plumbing company and had to pay $400 and AHS refuses to compensate us. David lied to our faces and has no regard for other people's livelihood. Do NOT go with this company.

EDIT #2: They called us back two months later (after not responding to any of our calls, not showing up, and saying our case was closed) saying they finally got our part in. You can't make this sh*t up.

I NEVER leave negative reviews, but totally had to in this case. If you are thinking about using this company for any plumbing needs, RUN.
Terrible experience with this company, who, of course, I had to use through my home warranty. Needed my hot, cold, and shower valves replaced and put my claim in. They called me for an appointment, which they cancelled on the day of. They rescheduled me for the next week, a tech came out and said that he needed to get the parts from the warehouse and that I would be called the next week for a follow up appointment. These are stock standard valves, mind you, but okay. I never received a call, and had to call them; appointment not available for another week, which brings us to 4 weeks out and now my valves are leaking a stream. Another appointment is made and the dude never shows up and no call.
On a Sunday I reached out to a local plumber.
Valves are fixed the very next day with a gasket replacement.
I receive a phone call the following Tuesday from DCP informing me that the tech did not come out because of road conditions and that they needed to reschedule (I live in the mountains and the roads were absolutely fine). I was polite and informed the woman that the road conditions were fine that day, I had even driven to work and came home at midnight that day.
I then informed her that I already had another plumber come out to fix the issue. She stated very curtly that she would close the claim and then she hung up on me.
Pretty much the worst and most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a "professional" trade.
    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

This company also known by Plumbers, INC. My home owner warranty sent them for diagnosis. I was told that I have to pay thousands out of pocket first. so I didn't want to use them for the actual repair. But they were obligated to submit diagnostic report requested by the warranty company. After 3 month and countless phone calls. They finally submitted the report, but instead of submitting the facts, they submitted false information which resulted my claim being denied. This company is dishonest and I would not do business with them. If your home owner warranty send them, you should reject and have them send someone else.

I want to thank all the previous reviewers for warning me of this company. I dodged a bullet. I called my insurance of a slow leak in bathroom faucet sink and a periodic leak under my kitchen sink. DCP tech came for about 15 minutes and said the kitchen plumbing needs replacement and both bathroom faucets need replacement. DCP never returned in 2 hours, and no response. That's when I saw these post. I spoke to the home owners insurance supv and informed them of DCPs up charge and request another plumber. CM plumbing tech, Tyler fixed both leaks in less than an hour. He was knowledgeable, honest and quick. I followed up with insurance supv of the minor fixes compared to DCP up charge, incorrect assessment and lack of follow through. Insurance supv will contact DCP of discrepancies and follow up on continued contract. I encourage all home owners to continue to inform their home owners insurance company to discontinue contracts with DCP.

I wrote a review Friday 05/17/2024, due to the service technician leaving without fixing the issues and extending the repair time. the technician, Adam Reese, stated the leak was not active and could not resolve but to call them back. i was able to duplicate the issue and Adam came back out.

I have to say I was very happy with Adam and his service. He discovered a previous repair was not done correctly (by another company or previous homer owner). This was not an easy discovery and Adam found and fixed it within few minutes. It did stink to have someone take off for 2 days to have the company come out, but Adam easily made up for it especially he finding this bad repair in and very hard to locate spot in the overflow drain.

I would definitely recommend his technical skill and service for any other repairs I ever need.

I hope this feedback can be added to my previous feedback.

This is the worst company. My home warranty first American sent this company to fix our water regulator. The technician showed up and left stating he needed parts. He then lied to the warranty company and told the company that we needed to pay $800 so that he can modify the piping to fit a cheap regulator. The warranty company denied our claim until we modified and repiped our house. This could have destroyed our house. So we hired a different company and they changed the regulator without modifying our house. I wish we had read the reviews. This company have no integrity and please run away when the warranty company sends them to you. The reviews are accurate. It is the worst plumbing company in California

I am trying to resolve my issue with Direct Connection Plumbing, hopefully we have better luck next week, so I will update this feedback after the second visit to resolve my problem.

I waited days before they could come out to our home. The technician, Adam Reese, came out today and was rude to my son. Saying that there was nothing he could do as there was active leak, yeah we turned the water off to the tub so we did not flood our house. He said to call him back when it leaks again. It was not hard to duplicate the leaking, turned the tub on to fill and after a minute leaking came be seen on the first floor. He seemed to delay, postpone and/or schedule service without any urgency. So after waiting for an over-extended period to have someone come out and having to miss work to be there on their schedule, we have to take another day off work.

Again, I am hoping customer serve will improve on Monday and our leak can be fixed. I will update this feedback and post (positive or negative) after the second visit.
