They explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work. The repair was done efficiently, and my system is running better than ever. John was great. Came Friday on late notice and fixed a problem in 15 minutes that the vendor couldn't do in a dozen visits. He knows his stuff and he is my new HVAC go-to.

Core Heating and Air has been my go to heating and cooling experts for the past several years. I use them on my personal home and my two rental units. I recommend John and team to anyone who asks. These guys are not like the big HVAC companies who show up, charge a big rate per hour and then try to create fear in an attempt to upsell you to a new furnace or A/C unit. If you want an honest and reliable company to deal with at a reasonable price, these are your people!

John is a gem. I'm not a yelper but if you're looking for quality work from an honest expert for a fair and reasonable price this is it. There is a reason he has so many irrefutable 5 star reviews. He called me back within an hour of my call at the end of his workday, and fit me into his schedule the next morning. He had the OEM brand name gas valve needed for the repair in his truck, and completed the work within two hours even in a cramped attic. I will call him again if needed for my Bryant HVAC system. He also does ductless units which I will call him for as well. His work was $500 less than what I was quoted for from KC Home services. Spend your money with someone who owns their business, guarantees their work and doesn't inflate their prices to pay for a fleet of trucks and unhelpful employees.

We've had John out before to fix our furnace. This time it was the A/C. He quickly diagnosed the problem and did the necessary repairs. Now it blow ice cold and purrs like a kitten. John is honest, dependable and reliable!

What a Blessing to have found John. He is knowledgeable, responsive, pays attention to detail and is cognizant of leaving your home tidy after his work. John corrected a potentially dangerous situation, a product of a faulty installation by the builder. His pricing is fair and reasonable.

The HVAC Hero Who Saved Our Furnace

Johnny, from Core Heating & Air Conditioning, deserves the highest praise for his swift and honest service. When our heating system failed, we called multiple companies, including Bragg, only to be met with questionable practices and exorbitant quotes.

Bragg's technician dismantled our furnace, and insisted on a $22,000 replacement with a 9% interest rate. We were even told to replace a new AC system barely two years old.

Enter Johnny. He came to our rescue, revealing the scam and fixing our furnace that Bragg's had taken apart. There was nothing wrong with it! He showed us why it kept shutting off - two of our vents were closed. That's it. It was overheating.

I've finally gotten around to writing this review 4 months later. And the furnace is still flawless!

His honesty, integrity, and skill saved us. Johnny is the epitome of what you want in an HVAC professional. We owe him our gratitude for putting our furnace back together and truly saving us.

John is THE guy to go to! We’ve had great experiences with him both times we’ve had him come out. He’s genuine and honest about repairs where we’ve had other people come out and insist our whole unit needs to be replaced. Highly highly recommend him, definitely the best!

Best service ever received on diagnosing and repairing a persistent furnace noise. John diagnosed and quickly fixed a buzzing noise coming from our furnace that could not be fixed by other local HVAC service companies. He also identified and fixed several other issues from the original installation that were problematic. Great service!

I would give six stars if I could. I had John come out to do a general diagnostic of our home's heating and A/C. He diagnosed several issues and now has our system running much more efficiently. He was great with our dog and also helped fix a gate latch that I didn't even ask him to. He went above and beyond - we will be using him again.

Our AC stopped working yesterday, a 113 degree day. We contacted Core Heating and Air Conditioning and requested service. John called us next morning and arrived promptly. He is knowledgeable, professional and he made the necessary repairs to our AC unit and it is working well. We highly recommend John and his company and will use it again.

5+ stars for John! He came out on short notice to repair my mom's furnace. He was kind, friendly, and honest. His price was beyond fair. Where other companies would have called for a total replacement, he replaced parts needed and saved us literally thousands of dollars.
