Rene and Superior Solar came highly recommended from my Mom. My husband and I just moved to Los Banos and were watching our PG&E bill spike as each month passed, getting closer to the summer months. We put in solar and are now saving over $100 a month on our bill! I don't know why everyone has not gone solar yet. It just makes sense. And Rene was very friendly and knowledgeable in setting everything up for us and getting the right permits, coming back and putting on the critter guard. Highly recommended from this new Los Banos family!

We had a great experience with Superior Solar (formerly First Alliance Energy). We met Rene Torres, our salesman, when he came to our door sometime in February 2018. We were already looking at solar and we were interested to learn more. Rene was very patient and answered all our questions. He was able to check our previous PG&E statements to make sure purchasing solar would be worth it. It clearly was for us. the process was quick and easy to get everything set up. Everytime we would contact the company we would be welcomed with great customer service. This is our second summer with the SunPower solar panels and we could not be happier with the service and the amount of power our panels have been producing. When I noticed a lower percentage capacity of power being produced i called them and they quickly came out to replace all the panels that were not functioning at 100% capacity. They also went out to my parents house, where after calculating the amount of panels and the PG&E bill, Rene found that it was not financially worth it for them to purchase the solar panels. This showed us that they are not only interested in selling panels to anyone but make sure they communicate all the benefits and downfalls to the client. I reccomend Superior Solar to my friends, family and coworkers as well as anyone who is on the market looking for solar.

First of all the Representative/Agent , Rene Torres is an outstanding person who went above and beyond and literally went out of his way to perform the best customer service I have ever had on any major purchase. This was a big decision to switch to solar energy because I didn’t know how it worked completely. I am so happy and satisfied that he was able to explain several times to me and for being so patient with me until I understood every step of the entire process. The solar paneling is good quality and looks cool on the roof and so does the critter guard that blends in to keep the pigeons from nesting under there. All the benefits of switching to solar energy is awesome as I am saving as well as earning back from the electric company by reading my smart meter everyday and learning how to conserve energy more and more each day. I wish I would have switched years ago it’s such a wise decision all around, and I feel confident Superior Solar gave me the best quality panels on the market, the name says it all, Superior Solar with superior service ! From the quote process to getting our solar turned on, Rene excelled in communication, responsiveness and going the extra mile to make sure we were happy with each step of the process. He clearly explained the process up front and answered all of our questions along the way. It’s not often you encounter someone who is so passionate about their job and customers as Rene is and for that I will recommend him to everyone I know that wants to pursue solar!

It was such a pleasure working with Rene Torres at Superior Solar. He has been nothing but super responsive & knowledgeable. I asked him to come take a look at my options as my current solar was not producing enough for my consumption. He came out right away and provided my options to me. Rene Torres is the best business man I have ever known. He has always been so courteous and polite throughout the years of getting his services. He has gone above and beyond for me in so many ways. He installed a new WIFI communication for me and helped fix my solar panels that were not previously working. He also took care of calling Emphase Company to order all new micro-inverters to replace the old ones.
Even when I bought an EV vehicle, he helped install the car charger and sent his crew to my house the same Saturday which saved me $400.
I honestly cannot thank him enough. I have had a previous experience with a dishonest merchant, and after working with Rene Torres I realized how lucky I am to have found someone who is so wonderful and so helpful.

He was always available for any follow up questions I had and checked in from time to time to make sure everything was going smoothly. The install and the installer were great, polite and respectful. I had been thinking about going solar for a few years but it was such a daunting decision. Rene met with me, answered all my questions, and made the process easy. He helped me get the approvals done with my HOA and also made sure everything was done properly so I passed my inspections with no issues. His installation crew came in and worked diligently to get everything installed and in working order super fast. What can I say? The service I’ve received from Rene has been nothing but the best. From the time we started my solar project to over a year after the project was completed, he is readily available and responds to my emails or texts promptly answering my questions or concerns. He stands behind his word which is hard to find these days and I also think this is a reflection of Superior Solar overall. Rene did not give up on my not being qualified the first time and maintained contact with me until I was finally able to be qualified and approved. He even guaranteed my system would produce enough energy to have a low true up as long as I didn’t over use on electricity. After the first year, our true up was more than what I expected, so Rene took it upon himself to understand why. He quickly responded and told me my system was under producing. Long story short, the issue was resolved AND Rene refunded me almost half of my true up charge from PG&E. From my experience, I highly recommend Superior Solar and make sure you ask for Rene!
