I had them run electrical for my hot tub last year and they did a very clean job with no issues.

I contacted them recently where I had blamed them for some issues with wiring but it turns out it was from my pool builder and not them, but they still came out the next day and fixed the issue for me. Would definitely recommend them and will be using them again and again.

Douglas electric did two days of work for me to set up electricity to some new pool equipment. The work was stellar and the price was just as quoted. He even had to crawl under the entire length of my house after several storms- dirty job done neatly!

We hired Douglas Electric to replace an old un-safe 100 amp panel with a new 200 amp service at a residence.

We recently had Douglas replace our kitchen under cabinet lighting and couldn’t be more pleased. He selected a model with all of the features I was looking for and they work perfectly. Before I moved into my house in 2023, a different electrician who inspected my panel told me my panel was damaged and would definitely need to be replaced soon because it's a fire hazard.

I put this off for months until I got an outage in part of the house that couldn't be remediated by flipping the breaker. It resolved itself in a few days, but I realized I needed to take care of the panel.

I contacted the electrician who did the inspection, but he told me his supplier for parts was no longer available and he no longer did full replacements. I was back to square one.

I found Douglas Electric, and they quickly scheduled a time for me and presented me the options - I went with an upgrade to a modern 200 amp panel.

On the day of the appointment, Doug came by with an assistant and did the panel upgrade quietly, efficiently, and thoroughly.

I never got a weird outage again, and some outlets that were non-functional started working again.

I was worried that the price of a business that's listed on Yelp would not be competitive with the quote from the electrician who inspected my place initially, but Doug's charge was very reasonable.

After the panel was replaced, Doug told me I'd need to get an inspection from SMUD because I elected for an upgrade to the 200 amp panel. Being a bigger panel, some of the stucco needed to be removed, and I needed to patch the stucco before getting the inspection. I was worried about incurring more cost to hire a stucco expert.

I procrastinated on the stucco repair for nearly four months.

On a whim, I asked Doug, and he guided me to do a stucco repair, free of charge. He had no obligation to do that as an electrician, and I am delighted and grateful that he spent the extra time to help me improve my own skills and save some money.

Despite my making Doug wait months to schedule the SMUD inspection, once I told him I was done with the stucco repair, he scheduled with SMUD for me that same day. The panel passed inspection.

I've attached a picture of the final result. Please note that I did the stucco patching myself (the gray parts), and I elected to do so.

Bought a new house in Loomis CA , not knowing the nightmare of electrical problems I had going on. It needed a new panel and new wiring ran thru out the whole house due to nothing being up to code Donald and Tyler came out gave me a great deal and knocked everything out couldn’t be more happy with the job they did . We were overdue for an electric panel upgrade and started getting bids. Donald came out, gave us a fair bid and was very personable. We chose to go with him and he made the process easy. He obtained the permit from the county and coordinated installation with SMUD and the inspector. Donald did excellent work as noted by the county inspector on the final inspection. He stated that it was good work and made it easy for him to pass our inspection.

They arrived on time and talked to me about the electrical sockets. They explained everything to me before proceeding. I had a new washer/dryer installed and realized the sockets had never been replaced since the house was built in the 70s. They replaced the sockets, moved the washer/dryer back making sure the bifold doors were back correctly. They are very professional and did the work in a timely manner. I will definitely call them again for any future work
