Everything has been great! Mr Chimney Cleaning recently cleaned my chimney just before the holidays. The technician who came, Carson, was very polite and knowledgeable. He started by inspecting the top of the chimney and even provided me with pictures to highlight some concerns I had at the top, mainly some wood damage. He brought in a large vacuum cleaner, used a tarp to protect my home, and thoroughly vacuumed the fireplace area. Carson also pointed out a crack in the floor and the back of my chimney. I was aware of this crack but had been informed before that fixing it might cost over $300. Instead, Carson suggested sealing it for just $40. He mentioned that this would likely be a temporary fix but should last for several years since I don't use my fireplace often. Overall, Carson appeared honest and didn't push me to pay for unnecessary services I could handle myself, and he left my place spotless. The only thing I noticed is that the fireplace still smokes a bit more than I prefer, but I’m not sure why that is, and it might not be related to the chimney cleaning. It's worth mentioning that Mr Chimney Cleaning has asked some customers to share their experiences for compensation, but they don’t control whether those reviews are positive or negative.
