Installation was incomplete. It did not pass inspection. When I called to make an appointment to complete the installation, I was told there would be NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. When the Fast Heater technician arrived, I was told there would be a charge. I was not contacted by phone, texted or email of this change. The website guarantees an installation that would be complete and ready to pass inspection. NOT TRUE. A bait and switch? There are other companies.

I'm not giving 5 stars for the water heater (which did not heat the water) but to Fast Water Heater Company and Earl Williams who had to come back the next day and fix it! Everyone that I dealt with was super nice!

My water heater finally gave out after years of it being in our home-- I contacted Home Depot for their water heater installation services and was directed to this company that partners with Home Depot. Prior to contacting Home Depot, I had reached out to various other contractors who each quoted me various prices for the install, ranging from $4000 at the highest to $2475 at the lowest. I was quoted for $2120 for a new water heater install sourced from Home Depot, which was the lowest price I had seen so far. I called on a Saturday and quickly scheduled an appointment tomorrow on Sunday. The following day, the technician Carlos Hernandez came around 11:45 am and briefed me on the process and what he was going to do. Prior to installation, he reviewed the agreed upon price and went over some additonal costs, such as the permit ($244.68), drip pan, and replacement parts. After the additional costs, the price went up to $2917.69, but Carlos patiently explained the reasoning for the costs and parts, so everything made sense. Throughout the process, Carlos explained all the procedures to me and outlined the purpose of whatever document I was signing, so I felt confident in what was going on. Carlos helped answer all the questions I had and worked quickly, finishing in around an hour. Overall, I had a pretty good experience, and would contact this company in the future if I need more water heater repair/maintenance.

Earl was wonderful! Great personality and did a great job. One comment is that the person that I initially spoke to, gave me an estimate that was a little misleading. They should be more transparent about the add ins cost that
would almost certainly be needed. That being said - happy with the job😉.

James the technician came on schedule. Based on the photo we provided, he adjusted the selected water heater model so it would fit to our garage space. He also laid out his game plan very clearly, and the cost breakdown. The whole process is very smooth, we know what to expect; and after three hours installation work, we have a brand new water heater, and the work is beautiful and thoughtful! The cost is fair. We are very happy with James’ work, and grateful that he’s willing to come on a short notice on a Sunday afternoon of this Labor Day weekend! We recommend Fast Water Heater Company Richmond. We found them through Home Depot, but will use their service in the future directly.

Excellent experience with Fast Water Heaters. Joe was on time, did a great job with the installation, and was professional and friendly. I felt very confident in his work and would absolutely recommend him.

The technician who r&I:'ed our water heater must be rated 5 star, based on our experience, 50+ years my wife and I owned and operated a RV repair & supply aftermarket store and shop. Surely do wish I had Martin Martinez as one of my techs.But it does qualify us to critique. However, the only critiques are totally positive. First class, this tech. I recommend him and his company, Richmond Fast water heater Repair and installation. Martin was impressive and I can't recommend him enough! But the best is costly, but w/o surprises, expedient, courteous, respectful, and don't have to worry about it anymore!

James did a wonderful job. He came in and made the necessary adjustments and was honest about installation recommendations. I am so grateful that he came so quickly to install the new water heater!

This company installed our water heater 19 yrs. ago. When it recently started leaking we called them and were very impressed with their product and services. Hired them again and had our new water heater installed today. Will definitely recommend them.

He communicated clearly throughout the process, thoroughly diagnosed the problem, and explained everything in a way I could understand. He also provided me with clear quotes and walked me through the charges. Trever was professional, efficient, and a true lifesaver! I highly recommend him and Fast Water Heater.

Fast Water Heater responded quickly on a Sunday morning to replace our leak leaking hot water heater. Information was taken, a quote given, and they responded with a repair technician,initials QB. He arrived on time, communicated well in giving an accurate estimate of the necessary work and did an excellent job. He represented the best of the company.

I went through Home Depot who contracted FAST HOME SERVICES. Both Home Depot and Fast Home Services were excellent. I had a new water heater installed, the old one taken away, everything to code within 3 days. The technicians, Carlos and the assisting tech, were professional, fast and exceptional. They communicated in detail the entire installation, before, during and after. I highly recommend them!

Mechanical setbacks and breakdowns usually occurs with most household appliances, especially water heaters. This was my case, a malfunction with my water heater. Fast Water Heater of Richmond was able to, after after troubleshooting the problem, repair the malfunction, which restored our household hot water. I want to acknowledge and give a special thanks to Fast Water Heater technician for his professional and honest service.

Our water heater gave out so we bought a new one at Home Depot, and within a half hour after purchase, we were contacted by FWH and were able to quickly schedule an installation with William within two days - the day that Home Depot scheduled the delivery to our house.

William was excellent! He thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done, and the job itself looked absolutely great as well. I also sincerely appreciate him going out of his way to help us return the initial water heater that we purchased to Home Depot - it turned out to be too large for the water heater space in our garage, so we needed a smaller one, and he offered to help take the first one back with his truck to Home Depot for a return and a replacement while we followed in our car. Given that we don't have a vehicle that it could fit in, he truly saved us a lot of hassle with the process of returning the initial water heater and buying and bringing back the second one, and he still finished the job on the same day. Thank you again!

The technician from Fast Water Heater arrived on time, explained the entire process, provided a written quotation and completed the work on the same day. He was courteous and knowledgeable of the process. He provided information about the permitting process after the installation was completed, and explained how the water heater operates before cleaning up and leaving. There was a slight delay where he needed an expansion tank brought over by his associate. Overall, the service was great and met my expectations.
