Just had a new septic system installed. Will was communicative throughout the process, accurate in his time estimates, courteous and professional. All issues were addressed promptly and satisfactorily as they arose. Highly recommend.

I have used Avalon Services both professionally and personally for sewer lateral inspections, a required inspection and remediation by many cities when you sell your residence in the East Bay. From initial contact with Regina in the office to Sam Fagliano during the inspections, Avalon provides A+ customer service.

We had a backup in our shower/tubs and needed help. Avalon was able to send someone the same day! Evan was on time, friendly, and fixed our problem so fast. We also had a sleeping toddler while he was here and she didn't even wake up! We are so grateful for the fast resolution of our issues and the lack of disruption to our lives. Thanks Avalon!

Avalon services was recommended by a friend. I was very satisfied with the service. Communication was prompt and professional. The plumber they sent was very helpful and informative. We opted to have one urgent repair completed immediately, and had estimates drawn up for future upgrades. The work done appears solid - no issues. Had over a dozen plumbers come out to inspect my main sewer drain as I was having clogging issues for years. Will showed up, performed an inspection to find the pipe had partially collapsed and roots had started to intrude. After speaking with him about our options, we decided to do a trenchless replacement from our clean out at the front of the house, down to the main connection in the street. Avalon was super communicative with planning, costs and potential issues. Took me many months to find these guys and I wouldn't hesitate to call them back for additional work.

I also wanted to add that I was experiencing some issues with my hot water heater at the same time they were on site doing my sewer replacement. Will was able to take a look at the water heater and provide some good advice on what I should do. I had my water heater warranty swapped as it had a failed component. Thanks Will!!!

Plumber Zach was early and was ready to get my leaky faucet fixed. He explained everything prior to getting started. He tested the system several times before leaving. He mentioned several times to call back if we have any issues.

Avalon plumbing recently replaced our 75 year old, 45 foot long sewer lateral line. I highly recommend Avalon! Their bid was many thousands of dollars less than Roto Rooter, and the service was top notch. They were extremely timely and did everything they promised from the bidding process through completion of the project. The connection to the mainline is on our neighbors property which complicated the job. Avalons owner was there every day to make sure the job was going smoothly. We were able to use the pipe bursting method as opposed to having to trench the entire job. None the less, the holes at either end were deep and they had to cut and patch our concrete walkway. The patch was excellent! They matched our aggregate. I so appreciate this attention to detail. Roto Rooter was going to patch without the aggregate which would have looked terrible. Additionally, they were very quick! They lined up all the permitting and the whole big job was done in just a few days. After each day, they cleaned up and hosed off the concrete. I can honestly say they left our place cleaner than it was when they arrived. In the last couple of years we have had several contractors here. Avalon surpassed the rest in terms of professionalism, communication, keeping promises, and cleanup/attention to detail. They were friendly and just great to work with. I cant recommend them more highly.

We received a quote from Avalon Rooter for installing a Harvest system. Sam was on time, communicated well, and was clearly knowledgable about heat pump HVAC and hot water heaters in general and the Harvest system specifically. We learned a lot and he asked a lot of questions to make sure that the quote would match our needs. While we have decided that we need to put installation on hold until our finances are better, I couldn't be happier with my interactions so far.

This review is above 5 stars for honesty, generosity, and kindness. William has helped us with drain repipe, sump pumps, water heaters, and toilets clogs. Truly greatful to have a friend like him who is willing to help without bounds. A good hearted individual who has demonstrated values beyond kindness.

I had an issue with my year old French drain. It didn’t work over this weekend. I called Avalon this morning and got a service appointment today. Sam came out, looked at the drain checked out where the drain was powered…the GSI switch was off. He switched it back on and Presto the drain was repaired. I asked him what I owed them and he said nothing.OMG you don’t see this much anymore. Thank you , Thank you‼️I will recommend Avalon to EVERYONE ‼️🥰🥰🥰☘️☘️☘️

Avalon replaced an approximately 75 foot off-street sewer lateral from my house to the City sewer line. The crew was very hardworking and efficient, completing the job in three days and getting the necessary certification from Berkeley Public Works. Trenching had to be done by hand, avoiding several utility lines to a neighboring house. Cleanup was excellent.

The Avalon teams did a spot repair for a blocked sewer lateral from our house. The blockage was between the sidewalk and the curb by the street. They did an excellent job in diagnosing the problem, offering us repair options, doing the work, and repairing the segment of driveway and curb excavated. I was very satisfied with the work and the communication, and the cost.
