I made an appointment on a Tuesday and have hot water about 48 hours later. The service was efficient, neat, and complete. I also chose a local business instead of Home Depot, which also means that the quality of the water heater is likely better. I would recommend this business.

With diagnosis of the problem and did what it took to get our issues fixed. He contacted California faucets for us and much to our surprise, several of the parts that we need to fix our leaky faucets were still under warranty from 22 years ago!

The team at Avalon help me with on of my first plumbing project that I needed to do to get my house in compliance with the city. After calling several different plumbers that seem to not be aware of what I was asking for Avalon knew what I was asking for right away. I highly recommend Avalon Services for plumbing issues. I had two toilets which were leaking and a tight time window to complete the work before I was about to leave town. Regina was great on the scheduling and Ron is a fantastic plumber. He took care of the problem very efficiently and cleaned everything up really well. Avalon is now my go-to for plumbing issues.

Avalon Services quoted me at almost half what other plumbing companies did. 2 guys in 3 days replaced all the 1940s galvanized pipes in my house with copper, working with efficiency, respect, and humor. They put in new high-quality faucets, cleaned up after themselves, and were a dream of great contractors. Best plumbers out there in the bay area!

I rarely give reviews, but the outstanding service my wife and I received from Avalon merits our critical acclaim. We had a plumbing emergency (isn't that always the case), and Avalon was immediately responsive. Their amazing team (Sam and Zach) provided exceptional service in a professional and efficient manner. Their expertise was impressive. I realize that many reviews are "inflated", but this firm honestly earns a baker's dozen of superlatives for the quality of their work. They also have strong "people" skills in how they communicate with a customer in a stressful situation. A final compliment goes to their office manager-coordinator, Regina, who ensured that the crew would arrive at our home in a timely manner. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Avalon without any reservation. No one wants a plumbing emergency, but if you are looking for a company with integrity and expertise, Avalon is a sure bet.

Sam came out to provide us an estimate on a potential sewer line replacement. He provided us with a few alternative options short of the invasive and expensive sewer line replacement, including a clear explanation of the risks and benefits of each option. He was very patient in answering our questions and did not try to steer us to any particular solution -- he emphasized that he wanted to work with us to find the option that suited us best. He also got someone out within a couple hours to snake our backed up sewer line while we were trying to sort it out. Fortunately, it turned out we did not need the sewer line replacement after all, but we really appreciated Avalon's customer service and integrity in helping us figure that out and we would happily work with them in the future.

I had a gas leak at my home and PG&E was unable to locate where it was coming from. They shut off the gas and told me to call a licensed plumber. I chose Avalon Services because they offered free estimates and had great reviews. Zach was at my house for about 2 hours before he was able to identify exactly where the leak was coming from and he quoted me a very reasonable price to fix it. Another plumber told me I would need to run a new gas line, and it would cost between $5100 and $6900. What was supposed to be a pretty standard job turned into an all-day one because there were some structural issues that were not obvious during the initial inspection. Zach even called in another worker to help. Despite this, the price he quoted remained the same. The problem was fixed, and he saved me thousands of dollars. I was very grateful that he took the time to actually find the source of the leak and not just tell me I needed a new gas line. I cannot recommend Avalon Services enough. They are honest, very thorough, and extremely nice. I will definitely be calling them from now on

Will and Sam are very knowledgeable and were able to diagnose a problem that 2 other plumbers before them could not. Copper has been leaching in my water supply from improper soldering and flux application 15 years ago. Sam was able to bypass my home’s pipes and filled a bucket straight from city water which had no blue tint, eliminating city water as the source. Also he confirmed some sediment in the line was coming from the city not my house. Doing a short and simple test clarified a bunch of unknowns and I’m confident they will be able to further diagnose and repair the issue. With pipes also potentially in my slab, Sam offered other ideas that may be possible to avoid tearing up the slab if it ever came to that. They’re giving it to me straight whether I want to hear it or not and I appreciate that because it seems they are honest and want to solve my issue not just sell me some filtration system like other plumbers tried to do, which would have done nothing since the contamination is coming from pipes in walls after filtration. Definitely feel like I’m in good hands for this potentially huge project.

This is my second time using them, first one was to have a water heater replaced and that also went smooth with no hiccup, heater still perfect 4 years later.

As always, Avalon provides excellent, personable and individualized service. From the first interaction with Regina in the office to the Service technician, Ron, doing the work they are extremely attentive, communicative, and provide the highest level of service. Avalon has been working on our ranch plumbing for years and is practically the exclusive service provider in our neighborhood due to their excellent reputation.
