I contacted Timco for a bid on a new construction residential project back in May of 2018. Tommie visited me at my lot to discuss the project and said that he was interested. I said that I would be sending out for bids in October of 2018 and asked if he would like to bid. He said he would.

In October, 2018 I sent an email to Mercedes Raistrick, Timco's Chief estimator asking if they were still interested in the project. She said to give Tommie a call. I called Tommie and he remembered who I was and said he was still interested. I sent the bid documents to them on or about October 18, 2018 and asked if they had everything they needed. Three weeks later I still had not received confirmation that they received the documents or that they had everything that they needed so I sent another email. I did not receive a response. I know contractors are busy so I was not trying to be pushy. I waited another two weeks and then I called. First I spoke with Mercedes and if she had gotten my emails. She said she had. I asked why she hadn't responded and she said, "I started to but I guess I forgot. She transferred me to Tommie who said he had the bid documents and that they had done all of the work on their end they were just waiting for subcontractors. I asked why Mercedes had not responded to a single email and he said he was not sure and that was unusual. He said the bid would be complete by December 6, 2018.

December 6, came and went with out a bid so I called and spoke to someone who had said he was taking over Mercedes job of estimating and that he would have something together for me by the 19th or 20th. Nothing came on the 20th so I called him again. He told me to call back in an hour. I did that. When he answered he began asking me some rudimentary questions about my project. It was clear that he had used the hour in between phone calls to read my bid documents for the first time. He said that they hadn't made any progress on the bid but were still interested. I asked when it could be done by and he said the end of January. I said that I needed it sooner than that so he said January 4th.

Today I called to check on the status of the bid and was informed by Mercedes that they were not interested in the project. She said they had decided at a recent meeting that they could not compete against residential real estate bids and that they were primarily commercial I asked her why she did not call or email me to let me know. She was quiet and I said, "well that's a heckuva a way to run a business." She wished me a happy holidays and hung up.

The excuse that they are a commercial real estate contractor is thin. They have known that this was a residential project for over six months and have continually expressed interest. I think it more likely they decided that they did not want to deal with someone who expected deadlines to be kept and emails to be responded to. I guess in the end that I am glad I found this out about them now rather than halfway through building a house. Nevertheless I am extremely disappointed in their customer service. This is a big project for us, something we have saved for years and to have it treated in such a matter is extremely frustrating and disheartening. I hope their other potential clients are dealt with better.

We are getting a commercial tenant improvement to open a new restaurant in Elk Grove. We scheduled a time to see him and he was extremely professional and told me when the deadline was going to be. Told me he was going to breakdown all the cost, unlike other contractors. I emailed him and he called me right back. Communication to me is very important because of the deadlines, and Timco is great! Highly recommend!!

A storm had dropped a tree on my roof, and worsened damage done to the stucco on my garage wall. The crew from Timco did a phenomenal job on both. So good, you'd think the house had been built yesterday. They were on time, every time, efficient and professional (but so easy to work with). I can't recommend them enough.

Nick and his crew made my house look like a new home! They did very good work. I met with half a dozen contractors to bid my job and I was by far the most impressed with Nick. I really liked the fact that he and his crew could do everything I wanted to do without me having to hire multiple contractors. I wouldn't hesitate to use Nick again or refer him to my friends.

Jc Construction & Remodeling did a marvelous workmanship on the installation our tile floor. The attention to details is superb. The layout, calculated cuts, and setting were exceptional. The staff was extremely responsive and accommodative. With that in mind, I highly recommend this company and its staff without reservation.

He made some great recommendations On interior colors That would complement the wood flooring he is installing for us Very good experience would recommend at least getting a quote from them.

JC construction did a fantastic job on my kitchen. They are quick to act if there's a problem during the remodel, but more importantly they don't forget you after the job is done. They were helpful in the planning phase as well. The back splash completely makes the kitchen. Very satisfied! We highly recommend JC construction. They are professional.

With one in-home estimate, nick was able to show me a drawing of the exact kitchen I had in mind. He added a few ideas and was very nice in trends and 'what works well' type of designs. When I had a few changes he was quick to incorporate them and was never impatient or pushy like other businesses I had gone to. nick kept me up to date on the schedule of the design, who was performing the work, and responded immediately whenever I had questions. David and jose installed the cabinets with great attention to detail and friendly professionalism. They were very careful with the cabinets and maneuvering around my existing furniture and home. john installed the countertop, making the seams virtually seamless and taking care that the fit was absolutely perfect. Overall jc construction team was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had.

Nick and his crew renovated our garage. He gave us honest advice about how much renovation we needed and they did a great job. They had some unexpected issues that required more work, but they just resolved them quickly and still had everything done on time. Nick is very focused on making the customer happy and at the end of the day we just appreciated how easy it was to get this done.

My husband and I went through more than 5 contractors trying to find someone for a garage conversion to a beauty salon. Nick came on a weekend to give us a bid, we had a soft quote before he left and firm quote in our email by Monday. He started the job early and finished early. He was very thorough and explained everything completely. We felt so confident in his estimate that we didn't even bother to get any other bids. JC Construction owner is Nick Mufdi. He and his crew did a terrific job on my bathroom remodel. He was courteous, professional and made sure every detail was perfect. His pricing was reasonable given the work to be done. His crew was always on time and cleaned up their workspace to my satisfaction. The remodel job was completed on time although the shower glass installation took a bit longer, however that came from a different sub-contractor. Nick always stayed in touch and responded quickly if I had any questions or concerns. I highly recommend him!
