Caldwell repaired the siding on my garage. Couldn't be happier. On-time, on-budget, cleaned up the mess, super easy to work with. Can't ask for more than that, and very rare these days!!!

We just completed our second project with Caldwell. The first was demo and construction of a new fireplace facade, and the second was installing flooring throughout our house. Communication in both projects was great, including the owner, general manager, office, and craftsman. Service and quality is important to us and everyone at Caldwell. Everyone we worked with told us if there was anything with which we were unsatisfied, we just needed to let them know. In both projects, their team discussed any decisions points with us to make sure they were meeting our expectations. We gathered quotes for both projects from multiple vendors and Caldwell was our choice. One Caldwell quote was a little higher, but William the owner explained to us how the demo of the hearth would require extra time and effort, which neither of the other two vendors mentioned. It would have definitely been a change request with both the others. William's knowledge and experience helped us avoid that headache, and the situation with the hearth was exactly as he described.

By the time William Caldwell, owner, came to give us an estimate on various aspects of updating our kitchen I was on my last nerve because so many contractors and handymen had come through, took notes about the job, and then - crickets! He was the very first one to give us an actual price on installing our new microwave/oven combo, which wasn’t going to be easy. The appliance is about 2/16ths of an inch wider than the opening it needed to go in. I thought William’s price was fair, given the difficulty of the job, but my husband thought it was too high. I lost it and stormed off. In the end my husband saw reason and we had William’s guys, Danny and Jared install our new appliance. They were awesome! We would work with them again anytime, and may be doing so for the rest of the kitchen remodel in the near future.

Caldwell Construction was a dream to work with during a major kitchen remodel. My questions and concerns were addressed quickly and thoroughly. They worked with me on the details, even salvaging the original ironing board cupboard from a wall that was removed and incorporating it into the new kitchen. I felt like they were looking out for my best interests throughout the process. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and have been enthusiastically recommending them to anyone who’ll listen.

We have used Caldwell for multiple projects over many years from small to large. We have had Caldwell fix a leak in our bathroom. They only demo/took apart what they needed to diagnose a problem and then the fix is specific to what is needed, no up-selling or pressure to move forward. The leak was fixed that day and they did a great job with the drywall patching and matching the finish to the existing wall.

When we had water leaking in our garage, while some companies said they need to take apart the wall and x dollars per hour, Caldwell was the only ones that said, let’s wait, and narrow down the source of the issue. They did a water test to narrow down the issue before proceeding. Overtime, this led to a major job. We had two new windows, a lot of dry rot repair and re-stucco our house over a 2 month period. After the quote, they told us to take our time (quote was valid for 30 days and included a smaller and larger scale of the project based on our budget) and we had the time and space to get other quotes. They were responsive when we had follow up questions. Throughout the work, they were quick to reply to text messages/phone calls, and have regular check-in’s throughout. If I ever sent questions, I would get a call or visit the next day to discuss any questions.

On Nextdoor when people ask for a contractor, I always see Caldwell getting mentioned, and we will continue to use them in the future, hopefully, for more fun projects like a kitchen remodel rather than fixing leaks and rot.

Jordan was awesome to work with. This was my first time ever doing a kitchen remodel and using a professional contractor so I was pretty nervous. I also had a wall with electrical and a gas fireplace removed that had separated the kitchen area from the living room. Needless to say I was impressed with their work. Jordan and his staff were very respectful and enjoyable to work with. I work from home so I was there all day with them. They were careful and meticulous with demolition and installation and always answered any question I had no matter how ridiculous it might have been. I am extremely happy with the renovation and so glad I was able to work with Beyond Renovations 360 They will definitely be my first choice if I ever do a renovation again and I have recommended them to my friends and family. Soto construction services is one of the best contractors to work with in the East sac and surrounding neighborhoods. We have used them on two large projects .

The first was a remodel of a 2 bedroom /1 bath to a 4 bedroom 3 bath house that we took down to the studs

The second project was finished lost recently was a 1920s house that needed a complete overhaul. The entire house had to be taken down to the studs and add engineering as well as redue of all the plumbing and electrical. After that it was all the pretty stuff . Great job and easy to work with team .

We engaged Soto Construction Services for the conversion of our attached garage into a home office, which involved installing a complicated oversized bifolding door. We chose Soto Construction due to the owner's extensive experience in renovating old homes, such as ours built in the 1940s, to modern standards. The project proceeded seamlessly, with Agustin overseeing everything with exceptional communication and cleanliness. I am thrilled with the outcome.

During the office conversion, we unexpectedly faced a sewer backup. While two other companies recommended redoing our old sewer piping, Agustin, specializing in plumbing, stepped in to assess the situation. That very night, he promptly provided a quote and rescheduled his commitments to prioritize resolving our emergency backup the following day. Agustin's dedication to quality reassured us of his suitability for the job. He went above and beyond, working tirelessly to complete the project, starting early and staying late into the night to restore our water supply. Not only did he tackle the immediate issue, but while under the house addressing the problem, he also took the initiative to enhance some of the bathroom drains for better flow, all at no additional cost. This demonstrated his unwavering commitment to client satisfaction and his desire to leave the job significantly improved from its initial state.

We also entrusted Soto Construction with demolishing our backyard in preparation for a new pool and replacing a patio door damaged by water. Recognizing my concern for security, Agustin constructed a sturdy temporary door to safeguard our property during the pool installation. While demolishing the back door, he uncovered dry rot, which he promptly addressed instead of merely covering it up, exemplifying his dedication to thoroughness.

A few weeks later, during the pool installation, a sewer line was accidentally damaged by the contracted company. Without hesitation, I contacted Agustin, who promptly assessed the situation and provided a quote. Based on my positive experiences with him, I decided to entrust him with relocating the sewer line.

Augustin has competitive rates and will go through his quote to explain all items and clarify any questions regarding the scope and type of work that needs to be done and does not begin work until all questions have been answered.

His crew were always on time and conducted themselves very professionally on the job site. If one of them were not able to answer a question, Augustin can be reached very quickly over the phone/text to get the matter cleared up.

All of our projects have been completed on-time or if there was a delay, he would explain the reason for the extension so there were no questions.

Also, all financial questions are answered as soon they come up and if there is a need to increase the budget (or use an item/material that is more expensive then originally planned) Augustine will go into detail for the reason there needs to be a change and is open to negotiate the difference in cost.

I would not hesitate to use Soto Construction for any work that we have planned for the future.

First time home owner project and Soto Construction did an amazing job. Great communication, explained process and what was accomplished at the end of the day. Hard working team. I have recommended to several in my neighborhood and they too have positive experiences. Planning more and bigger projects in the near future. My front yard pergola was completed a year ago and I still have people leaving notes on my door with compliments and requests for contact info. Highly recommend.
