Great service. We had no idea what to do. That was our first time and the service from Sacramento Hers test and title 24 was just a amazing. The lady on the phone was very patient and the inspector was very friendly. All was done in a timely manner.

Everything is great, but many things are closed, and you have to wait a long time for someone to open them.

This store always has what I need. Whether its a fridge filter for moms or cleaning supplies for my place. An if they don't have it they will order it to ship to home. Can't go wrong with The Home Depot.

I’ve had Tim and his crew build all of the concrete features in my backyard. As well as replace my roof. Very happy with the service and the price!

I needed dry rot repair on my roof. From the moment I contacted TSD to when the job was completed was less than 4 weeks. They did good work and cleaned up after the job was done.

Tim and his crews have done work for me for over 15 years. Some of the jobs were: Fencing; patio covers; two different yard jobs; etc. He has always done excellent work and takes good care of me.

TSD has built fences on two sides of our property. Done neatly and in a very timely manner. The fences are so well built that they are works of art. Highest recommendation. Great Guy. Great Job. Yes, I'd use TSD again.

UPDATE:

This is an update to the owner's response to my post.

We wanted to mention that the roofer himself was very professional and polite. He simply could've been better at navigating the fragile tile roof.

It's shocking that regardless of what the owner thinks I should do, he's frustrated with me!

Seriously?

I asked him for one thing and he decided to do something else.

And in the process, I lost time and money.

Ridiculous.

Original Review:

Poor customer service! No accountability!

Background:

We are getting solar and were told we had many broken tiles and some dry rot on our 50 y/o tile roof.

We postponed the solar install, inspected all the broken tiles (there were around 70 and all cracked along the edges) and asked TSD for a quote for the small 10x10 area of dry rot and one for the whole roof.

While waiting for a quote we go back on the roof to start replacing them and there are 9 or 10 freshly broken ones --- right down the middle!

Finally, we get a quote for the whole roof, but not for the small section.

I ask for a quote from the small section and it's more than I thought.

Still, no big deal.

The big deal is when I mention that their inspector, Andres, may benefit from some extra education on how to walk on old lightweight tile roofs and that there were around 9 extra broken tiles.

Tim, who I'm guessing is the owner, his text is below:

"I'm not interested in working for you. I told you from the very beginning that a tile roof that old should be replaced. He's an excellent roofer. You just can't get up on old Spanish style roofs and not have problems. If you remember what I told you the first time we talked was that the roof should be replaced."

Honestly, I couldn't believe the response. I work in customer service and even when the customer is wrong, which I am not here, you are still polite!

No apology, no accountability, nothing.

Also, FYI, I am 190 lb, replaced over 30 of the broken tiles myself, and only broke two while up there!

I attached an example image of an edge cracked tile and one that was broken down the middle. You can tell that the person who broke the middle cracked tile was literally walking in the middle of the tile and not where the two tiles meet!

If at some point there was a chance of us doing business with them in the future, that is now gone.

Not for the broken tiles, but for their response.

Very disappointed.

We were pleased with Tsdconstruction’s professionalism, recommendations, punctually, and workmanship. We were a bit nervous about this big project (replacing of wood siding, new roof and exterior painting.). The outcome turned out very nice and satisfying. Thanks to Tim and his hardworking crew.

Tim has been extremely responsive, accurate in his estimates and always letting us know if he or his subcontractors would have any delay. We were very happy with the work they did and especially happy that our friend and neighbor recommended him.

Tim designed our land scaping. His crew completely removed all grass, old concrete, and plants, so they could begin with a clean slate. Then they installed pavers, a drip system, moved tons of dirt to form mounds and a dry river bed. Tim brought in tons and tons of rock and gravel to use in a path way and as ground cover. Tim took us to a commercial nursery and recommended and helped select the best plants. There was always a crew of at least 4 workmen on the job everyday without fail. They made steady progress untill finished. Tim has a superb design sense, and his crew is skilled and work together as a team.
This was the 2nd project TSD construction has done for us we are very satisfied with the quality and the pace of work. I give TSD Construction 5 stars.
