We have had our whole house fan since 2005 and can't live without it. Unfortunately, it stopped working a few months back. I reached out to Whole House fan Company,. Spoke to Jessica and she hooked us up with a repair date and gave us an initial estimate for the repair. On the day of the service, it was determined that the Belt needed replacing, and a tuneup was needed.
We never paid more than the original quote. I am so happy to deal with these guys and highly recommend if you don't already have one getting a whole house fan. this is the company to go with. Great customer service so hard to come by these guys delivered!

I live in an area that can get to the upper 90s and low 100's in the summer. In the evening when we'd open our windows and sliding doors to let the cooler air come in, it still wasn't enough to cool the house down, so we'd need to run the AC. Our friends gave us a demo of their Quiet Cool whole house fan and we were sold, so we hired The Whole House Fan Co. to install fans at our house. Our entire experience with them was absolutely awesome, as they ALL provided superb customer service excellence. They were very friendly, professional, worked hard, and cleaned up meticulously. Gerald was our first primary contact. He came to our house and unhurriedly explained options and costs. He also installed an attic gable vent with extreme care to ensure watertightness. Later, Eric and Joe - truly, very nice hardworking guys - came and installed the primary house fan, an attic fan, and insulation over our garage. They took about 5-hours to install all items and fully cleaned up all related debris upon completion. Now, when the temperature gets cool in the evening and I turn on my whole house fan, it noticeably sucks cool air into the house, decreasing the internal temperature to match the outside temperature. I don't need to run my HVAC at night anymore, thereby reducing the HVAC unit's service hours. Also, the Whole House fan is much more energy efficient, thereby reducing my electricity bill. I very highly recommend hiring The Whole House Fan Co. to install your whole fan. You won't regret it!

Whole House Fan Company knocked it out of the park. They were in and out in a few hours. Attic fans run in auto and whole house fan really makes a big difference. They installed everything 4 days after I signed and the prices are unbeatable. I would highly recommend the Whole House Fan Company.

While I love my whole house fan when it's working, the warranty work is less than desirable. Year 9 of my 10 yr parts warranty, the pulley attached to the fan shaft with a hex screw decided to exit the fan shaft rendering the fan useless. I do have an appointment for the 12th of Sept, but with electricity so expensive, I decided to take a look myself beings the labor warranty ran out in year 5. Come to find the manly men who installed it originally couldn't tighten the hex screw on the pulley adequately, so screw their labor costs, and I'll fix it myself for free, except for my labor, at least I know how to tighten a hex screw. Sad part is how they put new installs over taking care of the customers they already have, and for that reason alone, I would not recommend to friends.

I had the best experience with the Whole House Co. from sales to insulation. I am so glad I made this purchase as when my air conditioner went out again, this system cooled down my home fast I live near farm land, the first night of insulation I was told to allow the fan to run overnight. Well, the farmers sprayed pesticide that night about 230 am my house filled with the smell, had to turn the fan to low which helped to remove the smell. It worked. I have really enjoyed the system. I’m bad with names, but it is a family business and everyone was polite and explained the system in great detail and the insulation didn’t go as planned, but they hurriedly got a new vent, (as the new vent had a tear), their sister drove a new out and the guys drove to meet half way and the whole system was up and running.
I would highly recommend this company and the system. I have woke up comfortable every morning.

WOW...what a difference in the temperature of my home. Gerald (sales) explained how the system functions and how easy it is to use. The installers were respectful and friendly, and after the 1.5 hour install, showed me how to use the remote and also demonstrated the flow of air going through my home depending on the windows I chose to open. Great Job!!!!

We just recently had a whole house fan installed by the Whole House Fan Company and absolutely LOVE it! Years ago we had a fan but it was so loud and practically shook out house when running it. This new fan is great! And quiet! I'm hoping my paychecks will stay in my bank rather than being sent directly to PG&E!!

I thought I needed a new whole house fàn but they told me I just needed a tune-up and the fan I had was a really good one!! They arrived at my house on time and did the tune-up on my existing whole house fan. They also installed a new attic fan. They gave me helpful hints on how to operate my new attic fan and also for my existing whole house fan. I would highly recommend this business to anyone!! Today, the installation team of Dominic and Jed arrived exactly on time...I do not see how two such little guys could handle this job, but they did with style and perfection. Dominic, the installer, was stellar, and Jed, his assistant, was no slouch himself...they make a great team.
