Great selections of plants. I had been hunting down Pink Jasmine in the Bay Area for months with no avail, but this place has plenty! I got one for myself and one for my friend. If you can't find the plants you want, come check Green Acres out!

Unbelievable nursery. For example, 16 varieties of lavender. A great selection at fair prices. Well worth a visit.

I liked it! Everyone was friendly and the selection was good. I did buy a cactus that said $2.50 and then rang up for $6.50 which was a bit dissapointing that the sign and container alluded to the cheaper price. Any ways the succulents were good, a few of them damaged, sadly. Beautiful place and the charts telling you when was the best time to plant vegetables and from what. (seed, plant starter, etc) Charts are very handy!!

Green Acres is where we go for our plants and gardening supplies. They have a better stock of plants than the big box hardware stores.

I absolutely love any Green Acres!! Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. There is sooo much in stock! Of course the plant I was looking for wasn’t quite available here but I definitely left with two plants I have absolutely no room for! I also love their social media presence. One of my favorite nurseries!

For gardening needs big and small, consider getting out of town a little bit and visiting Green Acres - it's the place to be! So many options for sprucing up your yard or garden. Literally acres of trees, veggies, flowers, and other supplies to make refreshing your garden easy.

We are very loyal customers and visit at least 2-3 times a week. The employee who always stands out is Natalie. She is always there! Her personality is amazing, she is approachable and so very knowledgeable. My Mom had recently passed in March and the last gift she gave me was a gift cert from Green Acres. The note said "hope you can buy something cool with this". So I bought this tree. Within a few weeks the inner leaves had turned yellow. I was so worried I was killing this tree. I took a photo and went to see Natalie. She was so kind and helpful to give advice and find a tree expert. Turns out, I was overwatering it. Today, it looks beautiful and each time I see it, I remember my Mom. Thank you for the great service.

Absolutely love this place. Much better selection than the big chain stores. Found a product called “squirrel mace” that really does keep them out of your plants!

Also got an awesome huge planter for our nectarine tree!

Employees are very helpful. I have purchased many plants from here. Vegetable plants, trees, seeds, and soil. Reasonable price and I have never had a plant die.

This place is WONDERFUL. Best Green Acres in the Sacramento area. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They allow dogs. It’s absolutely huge and has an incredible selection! Take the drive there, it’s worth it!

It has been a family tradition for over 10 years (now 11) to come here and choose our Christmas tree. The employee with glasses named Kaitlyn was extremely disrespectful to my family and myself. I understood the first 2 times she disrespected us, ones when she pushed my mother away from her cart because, quote, "I GOT IT, GIVE ME YOUR CART. I WILL GIVE YOU YOUR TREE AT THE FROINT. DO NOT TOUCH THE CART". Second occasion was when she was screaming at my father for quote "YOU DID HAVE HAVE A TICKET FOR YOUR TREE, THUS IS NOT YOUR TREE". We got 2 trees: 1 for myself and my wife and another for my parents. The lady had told us that she would use 1 ticket for both trees and had put my name on both so that the front cashiers know that it is 2 trees for our family under 1 name. Their communication could be improve between the employees that help you take your tree to the front and to the ones that are handling the transactions. Nonetheless, Kaitlyn demanded my father for the ticket. We had told her that the other employee one gave us 1 for 2 trees. She then proceeded to demand for it and threw my parents tree off of tue cart to the ground. I said where's the cart that my parents had. Kaitlyn proceeded to say I had an attitude because I mentioned that my parents tree was the only one on the ground and all other trees were on carts. She proceeded to murmur under her breath cursed words and racial slurs that I know she said because the other employees were laughing with her. Rest assure, we will be breaking our family tradition coming here in the following years.

I love Green Acres. The quality and variety is superior to any nursery I've been too. The friendly and knowledgeable staff really make shopping a pleasure. I leave with plants I know will do well in my area. We drive an hour and a half to shop here. It is absolutely worth it. I just wish there was one closer and that I could resist buying so much!

Really great nursery! I've found some steals for sure! Plants are always healthy and reasonably priced. Sometimes they have very mature plants for under $25!! I try to check them out once a month to see if I can find one of those gems 💎

Annuals and perennial plants are great but trees are invariably surrounded by circling roots which, if they can’t be cut off will eventually kill the tree—unless , of course you buy them bare root. Keeping trees in too small pots while growing makes the roots circle around the pot and the last tree I bought had a 1” diameter root circling twice in a very small pot.

Great nursery. Very helpful staff. I usually go to the one on San Juan and Greenback, but sometimes go to this location. Wonderful selection of succulents. I can always find a new variety, not already in my collection.
