West Coast Arborists is a family owned tree Care provider Serving communities who care about trees.

The County of Butte hired West Coast Arborists to remove a hazardous oak which had been dropping limbs into the road below. This ancient Valley Oak was massive, perhaps 60ft or more tall, 10ft across and 23ft in circumference at breast height. The trunk was 6.5 ft diameter at ground level. The company did a top-notch job removing it safely. I gave them access to our cow pasture to work from. They brought a bucket lift, big crane, grapple loader, disposal box, and took 3.25 days to complete the job with a crew of five.

They were extremely skilled, efficient and workmanlike, courteous, friendly, considerate, and very respectful of our property. They even cut me some choice slabs and brought tons of firewood wood to the local fire station for their needs.
My wife and I were very happy with Michael (Supervisor), Alfonso, Jose, Pablo and Rubin.

I have family that lives in this area and I can't visit them without stopping in here. My husband and I love plants, inside and out and the variety of plants available here at Green Acres makes my heart smile. The greenhouse they have is like a little wonderland in itself filled with so many of my favorite indoor plants and several species I've never seen before or that are hard to find where I live. If you are beginner gardener or landscaping pro I suggest checking this place out. There's so much to see and choose from. This place does not disappoint.

Excellent place for all your garden needs

Love Green acres, they’re super supportive and very knowledgeable. I always go there, but this is the first time I’m writing a review and it’s for a really weird reason.
I got three tomatoes starts, and they were supposed to be better boy variety, which is kind of like a beefy round tomato. Put them in in like March or April or something and now they’re totally producing, but they’re all three Roma tomatoes. I called and talked to the super nice manager, who actually told me this: there is a little old lady who comes in an intentionally switches the variety tags around so that people have this exact situation and are accidentally growing the wrong kind of tomato. It’s this weird little form of I don’t know protest? Or maybe you could call it like a mild form of vandalism or something? It’s just such a crazy story, and apparently she does it every single year, and I just found it so wild that I had to come on here and write my thoughts and feelings about it. It’s kind of annoying, but at this point, I’m just absolutely blown away that someone does this. And also, I’m super curious about this woman. Why does she do this? It’s obviously very intentional because she only does it to the tomato plants…. And she does it every single year. Apparently, as soon as she comes in and they recognize her, they have to follow her around and make sure she’s not switching tags, Or if she does, that they switch them back. Does anyone else know about the tomato bandit? I’m super curious.

Great place, great people. One recommendation if you don't mind. I noticed you were giving out popcorn yesterday (Saturday). I made a suggestion to the staff, ditch the popcorn and give out margaritas! There seemed to be unanimous support from staff and customers around me. Please consider this suggestion. An alternative could be bloody marys on Sunday mornings.
I understand there are many weirdos who enjoy gardening, many more of us view it as a chore and we procrastinate. If I knew there was a tasty margarita waiting for me, I probably wouldn't procrastinate. In fact, I'd look for more projects requiring a visit to your fine establishment.
Think about it, you sell lime trees, mojito mint, tomato plants, etc. - the signs are there, it's serendipity!

This place is great but I still.miss capital nursery.

A huge variety of plants at different growth stages, evergreen, flowering in winter and summer, indoor, outdoor plants . Jeremy was very helpful and explained about plants that require less care and grow nicely with little bit of sunshine and water. These were placed in the shadded part of the nursery whereas plants requiring more light were placed outside in the direct sun.

Wide selection of citrus fruit trees to plants N beautiful flowers N ferns. Large pots. Water fountains to watering cans. Great lay out, side walk for easy access to all plants n trees ! Employees are Handy.

I've lived in LA county for a decade, then moved up to NorCal and wished SoCal had Green Acres too (at least none in SFV)! They have a huge quality selection and varieties of plants, tools, etc.

A lot if beautiful plants and flowers and a wide range to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. There is a massive and deep pot hole on one of the entrance ways so smaller cars should be careful.

Best nursery in town. Here you’ll find all the special houseplants and succulents you’ll ever need. I come all the way from Santa Rosa

We didn't buy anything this time, but we usually stop in to one of their locations when in the Sacramento area. Nice selection, to buy or just look at.

This is my new favorite nursery in the Sacramento area!!! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and the plants are very well cared for. The prices were the lowest out of any nursery I’ve been to so far. And these plants are worth every penny. EVERY single plant seemed to be thriving and there was a large variety to choose from. They also had info cards detailing the lighting, water schedule, and if it was safe for pets. Highly recommend Green Acres!!

This place definitely had a wide selection of plants however they don’t look well kept for. Customer service was lacking when trying get information on the plants and fertilizer/ soil for best results. Seemed like they didn’t want to be bothered.

Very handicap accessible! Most people don’t bother, but they do! The plants and people tending them are all very nice.

I am truly surprised that my garden did not produce. I used the Soil boost. I was told it would help my garden and boost last year's soil. My garden was not a success. I spent alot of $ on Soil booster. I am not happy with my garden. I will use something else next year to be sure of a good garden of flowers and vegetables.
