I been using cal line in tracy for many years and im very happy with their service ,but their always busy thats something i undestand thats why i called sacramento for some service on my chipper to see if they can get me in for repairs sooner so i called on friday front desk sent me to voice mail said they would call me back and never heard from them then i called back the fallowing week to set a date to bring in my chipper and front desk told me the same thing that the mechanic would call me back never heard from them i know im just a small tree service but word of mouth goes along ways Felix Tree serv will not be going back to sacramento

I ordered a key to a piece of equipment for one of my clients. Received the wrong one. I went down to their office and they were very helpful getting the correct one quickly.

Completely dishonest! I contacted Cal- Line looking for a chipper. A salesman introduced me to a machine, sent images, gave me specs and a quote for $32,771.38 good for 30 days. Less than a week later I called to accepted the quote and begin the purchase to have the salesman raise the price to an even $40,000. I was shocked. Thinking that the salesman was not aware that he was obligated to honor the quote I contacted the owner Denny Knoll who apologized profusely but also did not honor the quote. I guess Cal-Line is not held to the same standards as California tree cutting contractors are when it comes to fulfilling a written quote. Not to be trusted.

As it turned out I bought a Model 75xp chipper directly from Brush Bandit. The machine is of the highest quality, the price quoted was the price paid and they made and deliver the machine on time as they said they would.

World class customer service! We are blown away at the level of service Cal-Line offers. We purchased a Brush Bandit chipper from them in December of last year. Unfortunately it was stolen in April. After posting it on social media in hopes of recovering it, we were directly called by the owner of Cal-Line. Denny told us how sorry he was for our loss and offered to have a loaner chipper delivered to us within the week. This came at a much needed time because we were spending a lot of money renting a chipper in the meantime. A beautiful chipper was delivered as promised and we were able to use it until our chipper was replaced. This past week Cal-Line delivered our brand new chipper and chipper truck and we couldn’t possibly be more happy. Not only is the equipment absolutely amazing, this company really goes above and beyond for their customers! Cal-Line customers for LIFE! Thank you Cal-Line and team for offering the best customer service we could have ever imagined!

Update, I took my Bandit 19xpc chipper to Cal Line to diagnose an overheating code and to do a thorough checkup on the machine since I had recently purchased it used. Anthony from service got my machine looked at quickly and kept checking in with updates. Ron the technician went over everything with me when I picked the machine up and gave me some tips and advice regarding my specific machine and engine including the most important things to watch to keep it running for a long time. I had a completely different experience than I did two years ago. I have raised my rating to 4 stars and am confident that after another interaction with this company it will be raised to 5.

I contacted Cal Line to purchase a valve, knives and other parts for my chipper. I left all required information and my phone number with an employee. Two weeks later nobody has gotten back to me. I called Landmark Machinery out of Michigan and they had the parts shipped to my door before Cal Line even bothered to call me back. Having your equipment down while you are running a business costs both time and money, if you want a company that will waste yours call Cal Line.

Scott is great to work with but Kelly is why this is getting a 1 star. Looks like a new guy that just started working there, wanted to charge me 2 hours for assessing the air filter, battery, the lintel hitch and chains that connect to the truck (laughable things) that a 5 year old can tell me and then when I asked him what am I paying for, he says it took them 2 hours to do that, something I could’ve done, but ok in all fairness, even if it took them two hours, he then hangs up on me because he didn’t want to hear me out on why he’s charging me for 2 hours. Very unprofessional and don’t think he’s fit for this position. Honest feedback.

Thanks Kelly and Jason for Making my stump grinder great again!. Drove all the way down from Redding and the guys were efficient and got the job done. I always get reminded when I go to Cal-line equipment that I made one the best business decisions buying a bandit over a Vermeer because of the service and quick response when something happens which will happen to any machine no matter where you buy. Highly recommend them, they are super professional, good working, respectful and amongst all amazing pricing. I’ve had them trim a large oak in the front , a non fruit bearing pistachio twice and one in the rear years. They are super quick, efficient and clean in the job they do. I have tons of plants in the front where they trimmed the tree and didn’t damage anything. Thank you.

Anyone with large trees in their yard knows how important the upkeep and maintenance are. TreesRUs did a great job trimming and sculpting my three large trees. Richard kept everything moving in the right direction.

Raymond has been my go-to tree guy for about two years now, and he’s done multiple jobs across several of my properties. He shows up when he says he will, explains what he’s going to do, and then just gets it done safely and efficiently. He’s handled everything from basic trimming to bigger removals, and every time the work area is cleaned up really well afterward. Pricing has always been fair and straightforward, with no surprises. As someone who manages a lot of properties and needs reliable people, I really value having Raymond I can count on. Highly recommend his tree service.

West Coast Arborists took out my internet line not once but TWICE while working in the area. Both times my household was left without service, making it impossible to work from home until the lines could be repaired. A professional tree company should know how to identify and avoid utility lines, or at the very least give residents a heads-up before cutting near them. Completely unacceptable. I’d warn any neighbor or business to watch closely if this crew is working near your property.

They trimmed our tree that we paid last week to have trimmed! Dummies!!!
