Kathryn showed up on time and did the work in a very timely and efficient manner . I don’t know if it killed weeds yet because it’s only been a couple hours. So far so good .Now it’s a day later and I can see the application by my technician Kathryn is doing its job, and I would recommend TruGreen to anyone who is sick of weeds!

Would give 0 stars if possible. I spoke with multiple reps and continued promises of a nicer lawn with the weeds gone. In actuality my lawn never got better but seems to be worse. I cancelled them twice. After the 1st time they called and said they could fix it and a supervisor would be out to see me. Never happened. They called again and said we will send out our best Tech to review the lawn and take of it with a free service. I said i want to be there and talk to whoever it was. Call me 1st, he doesn't call and i happen to be home when he showed up, i went out to talk to him and he said he was new and knew nothing about talking to me, i asked him a few questions and he really didnt know what he was talking about. He was just there to do a spray! This company lies and is not true to their word.

Update- Nothing changed grass(weeds) never got better.

my true Green service attendant came today, all I can say was Mike was hard-working very diligent about how he does his job, when he came out and serviced my yard I felt like OK. I made the right decision to use Trugreen lawn service.

My lawn looks great! Every tech I’ve dealt with has been professional and informative. Their phone app needs a little work but it still has all the information I need about what’s been done with my lawn. They use the organic material on my lawn and shrubs and trees. Recommend!

Great service with professional and friendly staff. I have significantly less weeds after only a few months of service.

Eric was knowledgeable and answered my questions explaining what was happening to my shrubs and what to expect after treatment. That was appreciated.. Over the years TruGreen has been great for my lawn and trees / shrubs. Their service has made a difference on the health of the plants in my yard; which also made it much more tolerant to extreme drought conditions.

I prepaid $389 in November of 2024. Flash forward to March (when they said my mosquito service was supposed to start), I called the 800 customer service line asking when they were coming, and they said 3/12. It was raining on 3/12, so I figured they'd come late. As of 4/14, nobody has come, called or emailed. I called customer service back, And they "escalated" my service to 5/12, and I would receive another call from the local office in 24-48 hours. Unacceptable, right? I asked for the local number to the Sacramento area office to escalate the issue myself. I was given a bogus 800 that was disconnected or not in service.

I called back a 3rd time to ask for a full refund, and was told it takes 2 weeks, and a receipt would be given in 24-48 hours.

BUYER BEWARE. Call an actual local company for mosquito control, and stay away from these scandalous clowns.

The WORST COMPANY I’ve ever dealt with. You never know when they are arriving. They don’t text ahead of time. If they come if your gate is locked… too bad. They do 1/2 a job. Many different people come. No continuity in service technicians. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I have used them for years and say I'm going to quit every year. I finally quit today. They simply do not do a good job and I suspect the five-star reviews are fakes. My grass was weed Free and much Greener when I took care of it myself. I will admit it will likely cost me a bit more to take care of it myself but it will look much much better. You would be better off to pay a quality gardener to provide the extra service and get the results you want. If you're the type that's not going to do anything on your own then use them it's better than nothing. If you're the type that wants a good looking green weed Free lawn then run the other way and don't waste your money.

If I could give zero stars I would’ve. This company should be avoided at all costs! I waited over 6 months for my first service for my lawn. In the mean time most of it died. I cancelled my service then a few months later thought I’d give them a try again. After purchasing lawn care they sent a MOSQUITO ONLY guy. Then a few
Days later after complaining they sent a guy but he forgot the aerator. This company is a joke and couldn’t run lemonade stand!

Received a call corporate after seeing my review. I still have yet to receive service and she said I have none scheduled even though I was told I have an appt Friday. She said they will be there some time in the next MONTH!!!

I cannot stress enough; find a local company to do the work. TruGreen is too big and disorganized and want to charge you without servicing.

Services are not worth the money. I landed a job out of state so I travel and didn’t have time to manage the grass plus I am not a green thumb. I had the lawn fertilized/seeded and thatched for two years to get a few bald spots and poor growth of lawn back. Also had the flower beds and gravel rock scape areas sprayed for weeds. When I did come home every two weeks I still had to walk around the yard and spray weed killer on the many weeds. I called several time with my concerns of lack of effective services. Never got better or changed the slightest. I was paying 1200 a year for nothing better than I can do with products from local hardware stores for a fraction of the cost. I was looking to pay for some knowledge of lawn care but they are no more than corporate scam.

TruGreen does an absolutely outstanding job in keeping my lawn green and healthy! The lawn care representatives are consistently caring, patient, respectful, knowledgeable. I was particularly impressed with Steven Halfand - he is truly awesome, honest, friendly, sincere! I have been with TruGreen for many years and definitely recommend this company!

I was just about to the point of having my lawn removed because it was in such ad shape . When the True Green Rep came out and evaluated my lawn he said it was salvageable and I had my doubts but I decided to sign up for the program. Within a few weeks I started to see signs of improvement and as time goes on the lawn continues to improve.
This is a great company with great people that provide amazing results.
