We had such a wonderful experience with this company. I spoke with Ali, the owner, because my husband and I needed to replace the carpeting in our home. He was very warm, friendly, and professional. Within a week, someone was at our house to take measurements. From there, we were connected with a trusted flooring company that they do a lot of work with and were given an array of samples within our budget from which to choose. Our new carpet was installed the following week and has exceeded our expectations, not to mention completely changing the entire look of our living space, giving it new life. They left me hanging with no communication for weeks at a time! Could Not produce receipts of items bought. Left messes until I complained about them. I was left with no kitchen access for 10 months! It’s my belief they took advantage of a grieving senior woman living alone! I was living in filth with rodents running through my home bc they left open holes to the outside n under the house! Their reply to me was “ it’s not my fault.” Well it’s not mine bc I didn’t leave the open holes. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I went through. And now Ali threatened me with a law suit! Please beware! This process even made me suicidal! I have a report to prove it that the cops came out to do a well check on me! Maybe it’s just Ali! But he works for this company and this is who I had to work with.

My upstairs water heater experienced a leak, resulting in damage to my ceiling and carpet. A prompt response from the repair crew ensued, and they commenced the drying process. Upon completion of drying, they replaced the ceiling and installed laminate flooring. The crew exhibited honesty, cleanliness, and promptness, and they maintained open communication throughout the entire process. I highly recommend their services and will undoubtedly utilize their services and refer them to my friends and family.

As general / Russell is amazing I can’t tell you enough they came out right away when G&B leak finders came out and found my leak…they started right away assessing the damaged demoing and drying out process…

A/s general contracting has a great Mitigation team who responds and works quickly; Greg was great to work with. The reconstruction manager, Abel was difficult to work with as he has poor communication and lacks customer care. The rebuild crew Tom and Meredith were amazing to work with. They were always on time, kept us homeowners involved on process and timing daily; respectful and they did a great work. Tom and Meredith deserve a pay increase for the amount of time and labor they put into their jobs. Well done. I would recommend the mitigation team if you have water damage, and I would recommend asking to work with Tom and Meredith to make your project go more smoothly.

- good in communication. Explained every step of the process and can be your advocate with your insurance.
- fast and reliable. finish work on time.
- make sure you get the style that you want.

Cons:
- they don’t work on the weekend which can prolong the build time ( but not an issue, homeowner like to rest on weekend)
- the guy doing the work doesn’t speak english, which make it hard for me to communicate. ( but google translate work for us).

Good service. I was able to get my kitchen restored in time for Christmas. Tom and his crew were determined to get my cabinets done, so they worked all day into Saturday nite (3 days before Xmas) to get the job done. I thank them so much for.

We are so glad that we chose A/S General Contracting to do our home repairs and remodeling. After a major flood downstairs, our home had to be completely ripped up and replaced. We took several bids from many contractors in our area. A/S General Contracting was a standout from the very first day. Abel came in to assess the damage and submit a scope to our insurance. He listened to our concerns and our vision on how we wanted our home to be like. Abel was able to negotiate with my insurance to get a more appropriate payout from the initial one that the insurance gave us. The whole process was overseen by Ali, the owner, who was always available to answer any questions I had.
Rudy and his team did all of the remodeling for us. They were highly professional, easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond. His guys always showed up early in the morning to get the work done and cleaned up after they left so it could still feel like our home and not a construction zone.

I do not wish anyone to have to go through a flood in their home and deal with home insurance, but choosing A/S General Contracting made the process much easier. We had a surprise water leak in our downstairs powder room that turned into a full remediation and rebuild, and A/S General Contracting absolutely saved us. This wasn’t just patch-and-paint work - we’re talking demo, leak detection and repair, water remediation with dryers/air scrubbers, new flooring, drywall and wainscoting, and putting the entire bathroom back together with new wallpaper and fixtures. They handled every step like pros.

Our kitchen faucet burst on Friday the 13th (of course!). We were not happy with the company our insurance company wanted to steer us to, because I looked them up on line & discovered some bad reviews!
However, once we settled on A/S General Contracting, everything ran smoothly. Abel & Rudy got things organized & the rebuild & finishing was absolutely meticulous: I swear my kitchen looks brand new! All the crews were terrific: great work ethic, and attention to detail. The rehab and finishing of the cabinets looks wonderful. The results literally blew me away. I found the flooring I wanted and it was delivered & installed on the same day! The men involved were respectful, friendly and their thoughtful cleaning up at the end of each day allowed me to cook at night. And the finish work, baseboards & touch up painting made my kitchen & family room look awesome, like new!!
