I had an amazing experience with Bright Power Electric! I recently needed help installing a chandelier, and from start to finish, they made the process so smooth. The team was professional, punctual, and clearly knew what they were doing. They handled the install with great care, making sure everything was secure, perfectly centered, and looking beautiful. I really appreciated how respectful they were of my home and how they took the time to explain what they were doing. It’s rare to find a company that combines skill, efficiency, and great customer service the way they do. Daniel was great! Very professional and provided great service. He was able to come out late night at night for our electric emergency. He had wonderful insight on to what we needed to do, was able to fix it for us that night and we also had him come back to do more work. Would definitely call him again for any electrical needs.

Excellent experience with Bright Power. I called mid-morning and they had an electrician at the house within a couple hours. Miguel was able to troubleshoot and identify the issue quickly. He explained why the problem occurred and offered some practical recommendations. All in all. A highly recommended company.

I had some wiring issues, where the outlets in my bedroom wall and hallways would not work. I had 2 other electricians come and spend the entire day searching, and yet were not able to find the problem. Alejandro, from Bright Power, came and was able to find the problem in less than an hour. He was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and looked in all the places the other electricians didnt. Alejandro was able to fix the wiring issue in no time after finding the problem, and my lights and electricity are back and running! I highly recommend him! He has 20 years experience and explained what he was doing the entire time! He turned a stressful issue to and turned it into a smooth, and rather enjoyable experience!

Daniel has been wonderful. He installed an outlet for us about 6 months ago to charge our EV in the garage and we just recently reached out again for a few other household electrical needs. He was great and everything was reasonably priced. We’ll definitely use Bright Power and request Daniel in the future for anything else we need.

I went in to buy an electrical enclosure and had to have it delivered to my house. It is best to order them from their website or call before driving over.

The staff was very helpful to provide the product I needed.

The location was central to San Diego and the parking was easy too.

They are good with their return policy too.

They cut the power to my brand new AC and used the breaker for the EV Charger. They stopped responding to me and refused to address the issue. I had to pay $350 for the HVAC expert to splice the new condenser power cable they just put in. This company does not know what they are doing and will leave your home in a worse condition.

I honestly don’t understand where the positive reviews for this company come from. I have a background in electrical work, and it’s clear they rely on customers not knowing any better.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

It started when I called regarding flickering lights under load in three of our rooms. I’m in Sorrento Valley and saw their high rating, so I booked a call.

Things went downhill immediately.

The first technician, Daniel, showed up four hours late with no notice; I had to call the office myself just to find out if he was still coming. Instead of a proper diagnosis, Daniel’s first move was to try to sell me a $6,000 upgrade to a 200A panel. Keep in mind, this is a one-story house with gas appliances and no EVs—we have never once overloaded our 125A panel. He admitted I didn't necessarily need it for the current issue, but "would eventually."
He moved a few breakers around and started checking all junction boxes for lose connections before he had to go.

The scheduling after that was a nightmare. After multiple reschedules and a month of waiting, they sent a different technician.

This second guy spent half the visit "roasting" Daniel, claiming he was a "commercial guy" who didn't know residential work and insisted it cant be a lose connection. He immediately tried the exact same $6,000 sales pitch. When I pushed back, he spent the rest of the time on the phone with his boss before pivoting to a $2,000+ quote just to replace the neutral bar and breakers. He said he will offer that if he had the parts and he will call be back in an hour. 5 hours later he realized he didn't have the parts, he eventually sent a final quote for $5,499... just to replace my 125A panel with another 125A panel.

Fed up, I called a different electrician. He came out the same day and actually performed a diagnosis. The problem had absolutely nothing to do with the panel. It was a combination of back-stabbed outlets and an overloaded circuit. We split the circuit and pigtailed the outlets, solving the problem once and for all for a fraction of Bright Power’s lowest quote.

Bright Power didn't want to fix my problem; they wanted to sell me unnecessary upgrades. If you aren't familiar with electrical work, they will talk you into thousands of dollars in "repairs" that won't even solve your issue. Eventually they will probably get to the issue but only after you have poured thousands on the other unnecessary upgrades. Go literally anywhere else.

They were easy to reach, set up a same-day appointment for me and had the job completed upon site.

Alejandro was the electrician helping me and I cannot say enough good things about him! He was communicative, prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He quickly diagnose the issue and walked me through it step-by-step, and then resolved it. I really appreciate the service and will definitely be using your services in the future!

Gabriel has been so great during our panel upgrade process! Once we contacted brightpower, Gabriel came out and really explained the process. He also was able to get our car charger installed for a future EV. Thank you also to Mark for assisting in getting permits and the paperwork done to get our projected completed. The work turned out great!

I contacted 3 electrical companies regarding an issue I had with my EV charger. Two responded but NEW LEAF electric solved my issue in a timely, professional manner with excellent service. They provided the solution without having to make an on site visit and they didn’t even charge for their valuable advice. I will be sure to call on NEW LEAF ELECTRIC again if I have any electrical needs. Kudos for these guys. Five stars are just too few. I would give them 11!

New leaf electric installed my L2(240V) charger outlet and they did a great job through out the process from initial design, quote, installation and post install support.

I highly recommend this company. They completed a residential solar install on our home a few weeks ago. The work was clean and the customer service was great. The project was a one-day install and they were finished before 2:30. They also have great pricing and they quickly ushered us through the permitting process.
