Do not go any further - hire these people!!

The whole Cabrillo crew did an amazing job for me this week.

I was actually quite nervous going into the week because it was a very big purchase for me. It was not a straightforward job - adding a/c to my house on Potrero Hill using existing ducts and mounting an ac unit on the roof to work with my existing solar system. But I could not have been happier with the professionalism, camaraderie,
hard work, politeness, cleanliness and cheer with which Frank, Erick and their crew completed the job.

It rained Monday and Tuesday and I was fully prepared for the job to be delayed. Instead, Erick, Fernando, Rodolfo, and Javier doubled down and somehow pulled it off In five days.

Friday came around and the rain made way for sun and a lot of sf October second-summer heat. Frank showed us how to work our new system and the kids and I yelped for joy as we pressed the button and cool AC flooded the house.

12/10 - cannot recommend these guys enough - was honestly sad to see them go!

I also have to call out Gessa their HQ maestro who was the calm backend admin lead and highly responsive and amazing throughout. What a team!

From the time Robert stepped foot inside our house for our initial consultation to when Erick and Javier's team completed the project, we were completely impressed with the depth of knowledge, quality of work, and level of customer service demonstrated by the Cabrillo team. They helped us to understand how we can maximize use of our existing infrastructure for air conditioning and how we can enhance capacity. We had commissioned Cabrillo to increase the size of our HVAC ducts per their recommendation and are now very happy with how quietly and quickly our air conditioning cools down our house and all the additional tips offered by the team. We ended up with upgraded air conditioning output and circulation, improved kitchen fan and dryer ventilation, and enhanced air quality. Something above and beyond to note is that we usually can't wait to have the cleaners over after other contractors have completed their work because some debris is to be expected. With Cabrillo, each member of the team wore shoe covers inside the house and the lack of debris left from the work each day was astonishing. We have already started recommending Cabrillo to our neighbors and will keep Cabrillo in mind for future needs.

I had an outstanding experience with Cabrillo Plumbing from beginning to end. They installed a heat pump water heater in my garage. The technicians, Fernando and Erick, could not have been more professional, hard-working and communicative. They were always on time and proactively provided me updates on their progress. Their work was meticulous and they even swept my garage before they left. Frank (who came out to scope the project) and Sal (in the office) were both fantastic, answering all my questions with incredibly fast response time and clear explanations. Frank even made a second, in-person trip out to my house to help me evaluate my options when I decided that I wanted to put the heater in a different location - and he came in person the first day of the work to make sure everything had gotten off to a good start . It is really worth the peace of mind to work with Cabrillo, I can't say enough good things about their work and their team.

My family had no heat for 2 months during this winter season. It got really cold. My Dad found Cabrillo and they worked super quick. Each day they were able to connect a new pipe to give us a little more heat into our home. I am super grateful for their work and really appreciate Robert and Rodolfo. If you need your heating and air fixed call them! Also, they fixed our second shower that other plumbers couldn't unclog. Now our family of 6 has two showers to use! Thanks Cabrillo, you guys are a life saver!

I can personally vouch for Robert’s plumbing expertise. He’s a professional, efficient, and clearly knows his craft inside out. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to doing the job right the first time. 5 stars for quality and reliability!

Our landlord uses Cabrillo to service our furnace and water heater. Every time they’ve come out, the service has been prompt and professional and they work with both us and the owner to quickly fix any issues.

We’ve had both Matthew L and Robert B come out for both planned and emergency service and they are top notch (At this point I’m pretty sure that all of their techs are!).

To minimize delays and down time Cabrillo has a great support team to ensure the techs have everything they need.

Cabrillo gives you a time frame for the appointment and narrows the window as the date approaches and before the tech arrives they send a quick bio by text message. I thought that was a friendly addition to great service.

Matt was excellent! He made a quick diagnosis of the situation and was very efficient at replacing our thermostat! He was very courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend Matt and Cabrillo for your HVAC needs!

I had a great experience with Cabrillo. Requested their services for a gas water heater replacement. They were prompt and the technician, David, was fantastic to work with. Although their estimate was much more than other companies I spoke with, they were incredibly communicative, professional, and responsive. Our water heater was replaced and looked great. Unfortunately, right after we had some drainage issues (unrelated), they came back out and resolved the issue for us.

We had an outstanding experience with Cabrillo Heat & Air and Plumbing, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They replaced our entire home heating system and added a new filtration system, and the quality of the work was exceptional from start to finish.

On the plumbing side, they were absolute lifesavers. They fixed a long-standing clog in our master bathroom that two other plumbing companies had given up on, leaving us without a working shower for over half a year. Cabrillo’s team was knowledgeable, persistent, and solved the issue when others couldn’t.

The crew was extremely professional, respectful of our home and space, and clearly very experienced. As an added bonus, they flushed our water heater at no extra charge, which really showed their integrity and care for their customers.

The Cabrillo team made it incredibly easy to get the hot water heater in our building replaced. We consulted with multiple providers but Cabrillo was the only one that actually took the time to test the gas line and confirm that we wouldn't have any problems with the proposed equipment. As we were looking have the work supported by a permit and inspection, this was crucial. Amazingly we accepted the estimate on a Friday and had the new system installed on Monday. Big thanks to Dave for the clean installation and thoroughly answering all of our technical questions, as well as Sal for being super responsive and keeping us informed about every step of the process.

Daniel came to the house to give us an estimate - he did a very thorough inspection of what needed to be done, gave us suggestions & answered all the questions we had. Within hours, we had the estimate on hand. I had few more questions, texted Daniel several times and he graciously answered them.

Sal scheduled the work within a few days of accepting the estimate. Had several calls with Sal to make sure everything is in order.

Daniel & his team did a great job installing the new furnace which is so much smaller than the green monster.

I have been using Cabrillo for annual water heater maintenance and during a furnace repair ahead of things cooling off explored options for converting to a heat pump.

The team recently wrapped up installation of a heat pump at our house in San Francisco. I had a great experience from bidding through scheduling, system install, and hand-off. Erick and Javier completed the install over a week of work. They were great to work with and identified a better option for routing the line set through the crawl space. Their work was exceptionally professional and left the work area clean and tidy every evening.

Extremely happy with the setup: Mitsubishi heat pump, Airzone dual zone control (upstairs/downstairs), Trane clean effects air purifier.
