Miguel, Moises, and George did the electrical work on our kitchen remodel, including replacing our 100 amp electrical panel with a 200 amp, completely rewiring our kitchen to bring it up to modern standards, and prepared it for an induction range. They are skilled, knowledgeable, and efficient. They communicated with us throughout and were extremely patient with our questions and concerns. We won’t hesitate to recommend this team at Safety First!

I had a great experience with Safety First Electric! The team is professional, knowledgeable, and does quality work. They showed up on time, communicated clearly throughout the job, and made sure everything was done safely and efficiently. Whether you need something as simple as an outlet change or as complex as a full rewire or main panel upgrade, I highly recommend giving them a call. Reliable service and great results!

They have the coolest looking vans, you have to give them a look!

I had a small electrical issue at my home and reached out to Safety First Electric. I was impressed by how thorough they were—they not only fixed the problem, but they also conducted a full home inspection and uncovered some bigger issues I wasn’t aware of. The team was professional and took the time to explain everything clearly. They offered cost-friendly solutions to address the concerns, which made me feel confident about the work being done. I really appreciate their attention to detail and the peace of mind they provided. Highly recommend Safety First Electric for reliable and honest service!
Will be booking them once again when I'm allocate the funds towards my next job. Thanks Ronnie!

I had a problem installing some LEDs. Safety First responded very quickly and a technician was able to solve the problem quickly. Brent did a great job. I think this company really strives to be the best and attains that goal.

My 1st experience right off the bat was being told I could not ask the technician any questions until I paid $99. An owner got on the phone with me to smooth this over & apologized saying I could speak to the tech before paying. Spoke to Chris who said he would trace all the lines & even replace a few bad circuits to make up for things. I left a nice review & was really cool with them. Chris & Robert came, traced lines but didn't replace circuits. They recommended a much more comprehensive project on all 3 panels that would cost $1500. We agreed. Chris mentioned his wife could go into labor any day & that would be the only reason they would cancel. 11/27 morning of our appt, he called to say he was on his way to the Hospital & rescheduled. 12/4 they came back & I asked about his new baby- he answered all the new baby stuff. No bad circuits were replaced. The panel sheets that tell you what each circuit controls had things like "B" "Well" "From" which doesn't tell me anything & the 3rd panel sheet was virtually blank. The kitchen ceiling tile was left open. I called to get clarification on the sheets highlighting all of the incomplete or confusing items, schedule the closing of the ceiling tile & replacement of the bad circuits promised since day 1. I was told Chris had just left on Paternity leave as his wife was due any day now. I did call Martin a liar because I believed Chris who said the baby was already born. I spoke with someone else who confirmed that Chris' wife hadn't had the baby yet. I called Martin back to apologize for calling the wrong person a liar. Today Ronnie (Owner) & Robert came. They closed the ceiling tile. Ronnie told me that we had to accept the panel sheet as is, they wouldn't be replacing any circuits as the whole panel needed updating. I started to get upset because of the "splaining". He told me it was just MY misunderstanding & that Martin didn't tell me I had to pay before talking to someone but that I was rude for calling him a liar. He said he was washing his hands of this project. I asked him to let me know when they finish so I could lock up. They left without notice leaving it wide open. I don't understand how I'm the bad guy for calling out the inconsistencies & wanting the sheets to be completed after paying $600 & for the bad circuits to be replaced as they had been promising to do day 1. I'm willing to understand if they couldn't replace the circuits for safety but there was no reason not to complete the panel sheets. They should add "Gaslighting" to services offered.

UPDATE: 1 Hour after posting this review (with receipts) they left a bad review for my Hotel claiming we have rats in retaliation from a fake name "Mike Gaines" forgetting that they emailed me from that very address during the bad work experience. Attaching receipts.

UPDATE: Safety First responded to my review after texting me several times asking me to remove it. I tried to handle this "offline" several times. Now it's online! There is NO "misunderstanding" about what happened. As said in my review, I can understand not replacing bad circuits due to safety but there is NO reason not to have filled out the sheets after $600. The sheets are attached to this review. Unacceptable! For $600 this should have been done at the very least. As for the claim they don't retaliate, again- see the receipts. They DID remove the retaliation review once I posted the receipts so it's no longer out there but the proof that there WAS retaliation will remain up. Because they have displayed unprofessional & retaliatory behavior- I wouldn't feel safe for them to come to trace the wires in order to fill out the sheets as they know how to mess with these wires. This review is not because I want them to come or refund me- although they should! It's to help someone else avoid having the same thing happening to them. Keep your fancy professional sounding buzzwords- I am not "misunderstanding" anything here. I'm not stupid & neither is the internet. Receipts don't lie. People who get caught do!

Had a transfer switch installed along with some other general work on my house. Their communication and quality of work was outstanding.

This is a much overdue review. Maurice came to our home and replaced our electric sub panel and he was wonderful! He is very knowledgeable, experienced, thorough, does clean work and answered all of my questions throughout the process (and I ask a lot of questions). He is an honest and decent man who genuinely cares about his work and helping people. We very highly recommend Maurice of Safety First Electric!

This has been one of the worst contractor experiences I've ever had. Overpriced, unnecessary work. They have been constantly dishonest, and are unresponsive at this time. Job not complete. Absolutely avoid this business.

I had a great experience working with Safety First Electric. Ronnie and his partner was prompt, explained cost breakdown, and was very efficient in getting the work done in a timely manner. I would hire them again! :) attached is a picture of the new light fixture they installed!

We recently did some upgrades to the interior of our home and needed an electrician to install ceiling fans, recessed lighting in the baby room and also add more receptacle outlets around the house. As many people know it is very difficult to pick a reliable and honest contractor to welcome inside your home. I came across Safety First Electric and thought I’d give them a try. Ronnie was on time, friendly, efficient, detailed and extremely clean. Everything he did was above and beyond our expectations. Without question we will be using Safety First Electric for our panel upgrade this spring. Highly recommend!

Had a Emergency total outage in my home while repairing a stove. I cannot recommend Chris Roberts enough for getting my power restored on the cusp of Thanksgiving Week! Just incredible knowledge & service!

We just had our whole home completely rewired. The staff are very professional, considered all our needs and how we could improve. They were very considerate of our property, explained everything they were doing, answered any questions we had. They showed up on time everyday and worked very hard and consistently to finish the project. Their technical expertise is excellent. I will always call them for any electrical needs we have.

Ronnie came out to take a look at my electrical issue. Turned out it was a minor mistake that I had made and he fixed it in a minute and didn't charge me for the visit. Was super professional and great to work with. Will definitely reach out in the future for any electrical needs.

The gentleman, Jacob and Moises (pretty sure that was their names) were fantastic. The work was done quickly, cleanly and with expert care. I can't be happier. My house is much safer now. I had a new breaker box installed (my old one was from the 1970s), and a new 240 line (50 amp) and box to my kitchen (they ran the line under the house). All that for about $9k, which is a small investment to keep the house in code and safe.

PG&E didn’t cross connect (energize) our new 400amp main panel due to the wires inside panel wasn’t connected to the lugs (panel not being ready). We called ‘Safety First Electric’ because other electricians didn’t have the right equipment. Ronnie was professional, highly knowledgeable on 400amp panels, super cool 😎 guy, clean and quick. He could done this with his eyes closed. I highly highly highly recommend Ronnie and his company. Don’t look any further these electricians are amazing (10 ⭐️ stars)!

I booked my appointment on 3/2 in the morning and called the front desk for more information. The receptionist booked my same‑day appointment and I received an email confirmation. Later, I suddenly got a text saying the appointment needed to be rescheduled — but then, about 15 minutes later, Chris (the technician) showed up with the job order anyway.

The receptionist’s communication was a negative 1. The misinformation and last‑minute changes showed there’s clearly no coordination between the front desk and the technicians.
Thankfully, Chris was the complete opposite. He arrived prepared, explained everything clearly, and came up with a solid game plan. He handled the job professionally and efficiently.

I’d give Chris 5 stars, but the front desk communication brings the overall experience down.

We had the pleasure of hiring this company over the christmas holiday. They are detailed and very professional. The workmen Jonathan and Jorge N arrived each day on time and worked tirelessly. They kept us informed every step of the way. Jonathan in particular took his time to make sure we knew what he was doing. The owner Ronnie did the initial assessment of our home, and reassured us that we would be taken care of as soon as possible, and we were. Thank You !

Miguel & Moy’s work in our home is fantastic. The quality of craftsmanship is very high, & the two were lovely gentlemen & a delight to have working in our home. We look forward to partnering with Safety First electrical on any & all future electrical projects!

Worked for this electrical contractor on their VMWare project...average at best. I have certainly worked for better, more organized contractors...other than efficient management, they also seemed to be having growing pains in that they did not have adequate amounts of functioning tools for their employees to use, cutting into production, requiring crews to share tools which other, better, contractors have plenty of. Would work for them again though if the opportunity presented itself.

The Willow Glen Electric (EVXperts) team installed my EV charger. They made the quoting process easy. They showed up on time. They recommended a EV charger. The workmanship was clean. They helped and coordinated with the city inspector and were on-site for the inspection. I will definitely recommend this team!

Seamless from beginning to end! WGE installed an EV charger for me. I asked for a quote online, uploading pictures of my garage and electrical panels through my phone. Got an email response explaining exactly what I needed and, more importantly, why, based on the pictures provided. I accepted the quote. I got email and phone reminders of upcoming technician visits (for both the installation and the city permit inspection). The techs were efficient and polite. Payment was online. From initial quote to final inspection was a month but I think I myself only spent 20 minutes on this project during that time.
