Willow Glenn replaced and upgraded my existing outdated main electrical panel. Their crews were always on time and professional. Their pricing was competitive and I have been very pleased with the quality and would call them again with any future work.

Well let me start by saying I reached out to a lot of local electrical contractors to get pricing for upgrading my old 1964 100 amp electrical panel.
We were looking to get a new Square D 200 amp service panel with generator hook up for emergency power when needed.
Several companies never got back to us. One did but never got the quote right based on what we wanted with the generator hookup and never followed up. Another came right out and got us a quote that was correct but the price was outrageous, like they did not want the job but would do it if we were dumb enough to give them their price. (Strickly my opinion here)
Thankfully we found Willow Glen Electric. Contacted them and almost immediately they had an electrician estimator come out to see what I wanted. Even worked with my day off schedule.
They listened to what we wanted and got us a written proposal quickly. Quote included the city permits and coordinating with PG&E for the shut down. Very thorough.
Well we said yes let's get this done! After getting WGE a deposit we were placed on the schedule and the only hold up was PG&E but the wait was not long. Everyone of the workers was friendly and professional. Even closing the gate to keep the old dog from getting out.
They let us know every step of the way when and what was going to happen through texts, emails and phone calls. Job went very smoothly with no surprises. WGE did what they said they would do and on time. My wife and I even joked about where were the snags and problems.. There were none. That does not happen too often in today's day and age.
Job was inspected twice by the city and signed off on the final with no issues.
After the panel was in the last part of the job was the stucco repair. Their separate contractor that did the work did a very nice job. Not easy trying to match old stucco and it never is quite the same but he did a great job considering.
Would recommend WGE to anyone looking to get electrical work done.

Willow Glen Electric installed a Tesla charger and a load shedding device that enabled me to add the charger even though my electric service is only 100A. They were very knowledgeable: they recommended the load shedding device for my situation. They were always on time, and did a great job. They came to my home for the city inspection, which we passed. They were expensive, but I feel it was worth it.

Willow Glen Electric installed an EV charging circuit at my home. The communication from the beginning through permit sign-off was excellent and I knew well in advance what was going to happen and when. The work was done quickly and professionally, and I would not hesitate to recommend Willow Glen in the future.

Excellent experience for a full home rewire. Both office and on site staff were amazing and very helpful. The people at Willow Glen Electric are fantastic!! They put in a Tesla Charger 15 months ago which has worked perfectly.

This time I turned off the House Power at the MAIN BREAKER which was 44 years old and it would not reset or come back on. (I broke the breaker by using it!!!)

I called Willow Glen Electric and talked to Sylvia who walked me through some basic possible solutions to get the breaker to work again. None of the basic solutions worked so Sylvia forwarded me over to Sandra, Scheduling Manager Special Projects.

Sandra stepped me through the basics again then tried to catch an electrician who could come out. They had all left for the day so I got scheduled for 8:30AM the following morning.

Jake & Zeek showed up at 8:20AM and checked all the possibilities for why my MAIN BREAKER wouldn't reengage and ultimately changed out the breaker, turned on the power and everything was fixed. Great relieve.

I had mentioned to Sandra that I was in BIG TROUBLE with my wife. When everything was set scheduling wise, Sandra called me back and suggested I should take my wife out to a nice diner. The wife said "Let's go out to Opa for dinner" which was a perfect solution just like Sandra suggested.

Many thanks to my neighbor for letting me plug in my 100' extension cord to power a couple lights and eventually the hair dryer and WiFi Router to get her zooming for a morning meeting.

I had Willow Glen Electric install a car charger for me. They have a very easy process: I sent some photos of my panels and where I wanted the charger to go, they sent an estimate, and they came by a few days later to do the install. They worked with the city to organize the building permit and managed the appointment for the final inspection. Everything went smoothly and I'm very pleased with the result.

I rarely post reviews. However, I need to warn the public to shop around for electricians. Willow Glen sent 2 very polite electricians who overcharged me by one hour, plus struggled to hang a kitchen chandelier. In fact, I overheard them on a phone call asking a supervisor whether to connect blue or red wires. They seemed sincerely puzzled. Perhaps they figured that I would not. Check my bill as well.
Even the revised bill represented almost the cost of the new light fixture!

Flexible and provided a viable cost effective solution without trying to just upsell. Quality install and follow-up. Thank you.

I was very impressed with the customer service in execution of my EV charger installation. These guys are really great. I submitted my deposit on Sunday night and had my charger installation scheduled the following morning. Lightning fast! They are really investing resources to be the best service available. All these other electricians had weeks worth of appointments or made you second guess their education level. I would definitely use Willow Glen again. My only complaint would be on cost. They are expensive for 1hr worth of installation work. But in return you get top customer service, turn key coordination with permitting, all the paperwork, materials, and warranty.

The follow-up with permitting and inspection was completely hassle-free. When I need more electrical work done, they will be at the top of my list.

Used Willow Glen to install my EV charger. The Virtual walk-through is comprehensive and a time-saver. My project manager and scheduling manager are great to work with, and the installer is professional. I initially had a defective charger hardware (no fault of Willow Glen) and they came back in the next day and replaced it with a new one.

I really had great service with Willow Glen Electric c in San Jose, CA. They come out to your home and take the needed pictures of your sub panel. Willow Glen office keeps you informed each step of the way through installation and City Inspection. I had a great experience with them even through the Shelter In Place. Once San Jose City Started back up, I felt like I was first in line to have the Inspection done with a Willow Glen Engineer seeing through the permit process with the City Inspector. I highly recommend this office. My Tesla Wall Connector (3rd Generation) functions perfectly.

I bought a Chevy Bolt and used the free home charger installation provided by Chevy. I don't think I had much of a choice who my electrician was - and ended up with Willow Glen Electric. Everything went incredibly smoothly with them. I was advised by them about needing a wall charging unit because directly plugging in sound iffy given my electrical capacity. So that was the only cost to me. My appointment was so quickly set up, I was worried that my unit might not come in time for them to do the work! Just had inspection and that went smooth as well.
