We bought our home in October, and immediately started the search for someone to renovate our bathrooms. We purchased an Eichler home, so it was important we were able to find someone to help carry the modern design into the bathrooms. We followed the advice of a lot of people and shopped around for a bit. We talked to a general contractor, a local design and remodel service as well as Clever Design and Remodel. Ultimately we decided to go with Clever because of Gili, he was transparent and we immediately felt comfortable with him handling our remodel.

My husband and I are extremely busy with our jobs so the last thing we wanted to fill up our spare time with was project managing, and running around figuring out what we needed to get. We are also very particular so it was important we found someone we could trust.

When We met with Gili, and he took the time to walk us through what we could expect, and ensured us that he'd help us take care of everything from start to finish. Not only did he have someone on staff to design our bathrooms, he made sure we had the designer came with us to the showroom to pick out what we would need. We felt confident we were getting fair pricing with everything too, if the team thought a showroom was over priced they told us where we could easily save money which was nice. They also knew the right places to go to when it came to tiling. After we picked everything, that was it. Gili and his team took care of the rest. They sent us a rendering of what it would look like and it came out just like the rendering. We were super impressed on demo day at how clean the job site was, Gili and his team treated our home with a lot of care. Another thing that is super important is they didn't cut corners, they did everything to city code, and even got an architect out to the house to ensure that the remodel would not affect anything in the home as we have a lot of beams due to the style. We didn't have to worry about anything. When we were nearing the end of the project Gili and team left the home on better condition then when they started the project it felt like. Everything was very clean, and throughout the project they also kept the home cleaned up every day when they left the site.

We would highly recommend Clever Design and Remodel to anyone that wants end to end services for your next home remodel. We enjoyed working with Gili so much that we already have asked him to help us with another project right after they completed our bathrooms.

I had a great experience with Clever, during the renovation of my parents' kitchen and bathroom renovation. I knew right away when I met the team that they would do a great job-- they were able to answer all of our questions with knowledge and expertise, and eased my mother's anxiety about making such big changes to their longtime residence.

I'm not sure what we were more impressed with: the beautiful end result, or the attention to detail and excellent communication that the team had with my family and me. These guys made everything super easy for us, but still kept us in the loop the entire way. I can't thank them enough and I would highly recommend them!

From all the different home remodeling companies we met with to discuss the job, Clever was the only one who had the expertise from the first day to plan the project from both the design and construction angle. We brainstormed some ideas with the design team, and they made sure we got everything we wanted and needed before finalizing the design. From the first minute I met Roy I had a good feeling about him, we actually needed to start the project because we had major issues with our old kitchen and bathroom, so after a short phone call with him, he showed up 2 days after and gave us a pretty good price for the amount of scope of work we asked, especially in the hard times we are in and even and the fact that we needed to start the job immediately. Roy was super flexible with us which is greatly appreciated. We quickly designed our new kitchen and bathroom and they even did for us a Beautiful 3D rendering that showed us how our kitchen and bathroom gonna look like with all the materials we chose, along the way that was super helpful because there was no room for mistakes.
The end result is amazing and we got the clean look exactly like we imagined!

We hired Clever Design And Remodeling to remodel our kitchen and paint the entire house, Gili was our project manager, the experience was amazing! He did so much for us from choosing all the materials all the way to the perfect 3D design that the team did for us, they finished our project on the best way, with minimum hassle for us, the process was super smooth. Gili was very informative and helpful, he definitely have high level of integrity, I know that because he promised us on the beginning to stay within our budget and we certainly did, i added some work along the way because that was so easy for me, we don’t do remodeling very often but we very happy with the finish result, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who’s looking to get peace of mind!

Clever Remodeling nailed it! I'm not a great reviewer in general but in this case I felt the need in sharing the experience I had with Clever.
I started by interviewing different general contractors to take over my kitchen remodeling project and I must say, the estimates stage itself had already taken 50% of the energy I was saving for the entire project LOL
Out of the 3 companies I interviewed Roy with Clever Remodeling who stood out the most in many ways, he was honest and really listened to my needs. Their bid was right among the rest of them GC's (well at least the ones who actually provided me with one...) and the decision was easy, We made some changes to the proposal and 2 days later we agreed on the price and signed a contract for a full kitchen remodeling project and some other interior remodeling tasks. They started with a kitchen remodeling planner/designer that created a great rendering which helped me a lot in visioning the future kitchen. After the design was signed they demolished my old cabinets and the rest is just history. COMMUNICATION was the key word, I could get a hold of them instantly at any given time (I mean they answered my texts at 11PM). Roy supervised the Job closely, he made sure I was happy with how things were going and when things were not done properly they were the first to admit it and remedy the situation before I even got home, I literally did not do anything but buying the appliances and approving the designs!

This is my first experience with extensive remodeling. As a new single parent, work life gets really hectic for me, so I really needed a trustworthy contractor. I am so fortunate to have chosen Clever Design and Remodeling. Roey was in charge of my project—kitchen, 3 bathrooms, flooring, paints and other miscellaneous restoration and fix-ups—basically the entire house. I was assigned an efficient and hardworking team; the on site manager is amiable and easy to work with. Throughout the process, I never had to look over their shoulders to check on them. If there were any problems, it was easy to communicate with them; they would promptly fix any issues that arose. Their customer service was really excellent. Also, thanks to their in-house designer, Allen who helped me with the initial process of choosing materials which then led to generated renderings to help me visualize the final look. Thanks Clever for delivering what you promised me. I really appreciate the integrity of your company. When I finally moved back in, you presented me with a beautiful, new and super clean house—this long awaited wish came true. I feel blessed 😃

We hired Clever Design & Remodeling for our masterbath, powder room, & laundry room remodel. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly Gili was able to come over to our home & give us an estimate. I interviewed 3 contractors, & we hired Gili for his reasonable bid & his "can-do" attitude.

The project started with meeting Liane, their in-house designer. I can't say enough about how kind & patient Liane was in helping me design & pick out materials. She listened so attentively while I went over my wish list. Liane is so responsive & detail-oriented. When I was having trouble deciding on a tri-view medicine cabinet with LED mirror, Liane was so patient in going over the pros & cons with me. I really love the end result! It's so beautiful and functional! Everything is hidden away with no clutter on the counter.

Each person that came to work in our home was so professional, polite, and very pleasant to have around.

Along the process, Gili gave us some great recommendations, such as upgrading our original electrical panel, and removing carpet to reveal hardwood floors in adjacent master bedroom.
Gili is such a nice guy. He never once said no to any of my requests along the way. In the last week of our project, I suddenly realized I really wanted additional recessed lighting in our hallway. Gili did not hesitate to comply with my request, even though we were trying to meet a deadline.
I felt very comfortable calling Gili anytime with questions or concerns & he always made me feel confident that it can be done.

Working with Roy and his team was fantastic! we wanted to remodel our garage to make it a more usable space. The previous owners are our home constructed a small office in the garage so there was no space to park any cars and it always felt dark and cluttered.

We reached out to a few contractors and were surprised at the wide range of quotes. Thankfully, we finally spoke with Roy at clever design and the quote was the sweet spot. Even better, he mentioned that they do not use subcontractors. The individuals coming to work on our project would be his own employees.

From the quote to the finish of the project, communication was a breeze. We got timely updates and we were always able to reach Roy with no issue.

What really impressed me was his response time. I went into labor (I was pregnant) while the project was ongoing. When I came home, my husband, and I noticed there was no hot water. We called Roy, and him and his team were there in five minutes, literally. Five minutes!!

They figured out that our water tank pilot light went out. They fixed it even though that was not their issue. They did not cause the problem. They just simply said OK - we will help you fix it. As a new mother, with a newborn, I was so grateful. This speaks to how good they are.

All in all, my husband and I were so impressed with everything. We have a garage that we actually want to use and can park our cars in. The job was well done and we are very happy.

Working with Z Design was great! I've been using their services for years, and they have always provided me with great service and excellent rates. Anytime I or my Real Estate clients need help with their projects, I always call Z Design, and I think you should give them a try as well. They are great!

Great experience with the crew who remodeled my entire house including kitchen and bathrooms. They were on time and respectful and did good quality work. The project was completed as expected and on schedule. It wasn't easy to coordinate between the large number of crew but the owner, Charles and project manager, Bing made it possible.

Charles and the team were incredibly responsive to my request for repairs to storm-related electrical damage, coming out on the same day - even though that was not my expectation. Upon arrival Scott was professional and knowledgeable and listened to me. He assessed the situation, apprised me of my options, and proceeded as requested. The work was completely timely and within my budget. I couldn't have asked for more and they'll be my first call next time.

We needed our kitchen counter updated and replaced. Z Design was on time, on budget. The whole project was done in one week. When questions or concerns came up they were prompt and effective. Had a great experience with Bing and the Z Design team on our new recessed lighting and plumbing job. They were very responsive and very transparent with their quotes. While doing their work, they even caught another plumbing leak, reported it to us, and got it fixed on the same job! They were prompt and timely on their start date, very thorough in their work, and left the place spic and span after the job.
