My kitchen drain started getting worse recently and finally it bothered me so much! In this pandemic situation, I had concerns to find a plumber I don’t know, and on the other hand, all plumbers are busy too. Luckily a friend of mine referred Trieu Vo, and he showed up to fix my kitchen drain today.

Trieu is an excellent plumber with great experience. He is very honest to explain what the issue is and what his approach is. And he tried to save my cost and also he wanted to fix the problem in an efficient way. He thoughtfully checked every detail, and his work is very clean. He got an amazing big van with fully equipped tools and machines in there, he is very professional and serious about his plumbing career.

If you ask me about Trieu, I would be so happy to refer him to all my friends and relatives! Awesome work from Trieu, thank you so much Trieu!

I have had this kitchen drain clog issue for 5 days, consulted ~10 plumbers majority told me they cannot do it, and a few gave me >$1500 estimate.
My kitchen is on second floor and the drain cleanout is located in the basement. Snake did not work at all because it was all grease clogging. All the previous plumbers consulted either does not have hydo jetting therefore cannot do the work, or cannot do hydo jetting from the basement (will cause a lot mess in the kitchen therefore they claimed a very high price).
Trieu is very experienced in solving clogging issue for multi story townhouse. He's got so many advanced tools and he was able to do hydro jetting from basement. The special nozzle he used for this jetting did not cause any mess in the kitchen. The overall process only took 1 hour. Trieu really delivered his work with quality and speed. Also Trieu charged a very reasonable price.
I will definitely recommend Trieu to everyone that needs plumbing service!

We have worked several times with Trieu from Drain Assist. He always replies within an hour of request of service. He is professional and efficient through all stages of repair, including describing in detail what needs to be done to fix the problem, why it should be done that way, and how much it will cost. Our tenants have commented on the great job he does and how thorough he is. The only drawback is his rates are a little higher than some other plumbers we use.

Trieu was great. He replied quickly to my quote request and his prices are very fair. He was right on time and respectful of our home, even tho it's a chaotic mess these days. He fixed the leaky toilet and showed me what the issue was. He also showed me that the bathroom sink issues I assumed we had were, in fact, other issues. Since we rent, I have to contact the owners before making the suggested replacements on this over-30-year-old property, but I'll be booking Trieu for those repairs/installments.

My kitchen sink got clogged yesterday and I tried to unclog it as I did many times before but it didn’t work this time. My wife called “Drain Assist” and Trieu showed up in 20’ later. Trieu look at everything and tried to find out where it got clogged. He tried the easy way first by using his professional air gun to push down the clog from the sink. but it didn’t work. He checked clean out and couldn’t find the clog there and he suspected that the clog is in the horizontal pipe that connects the P-trap and the big vertical pipe in the wall.
He is right. As he un-assembled the kitchen pipe connectors and don’t see much clog in the P-trap but the horizontal pipe totally blocked the water flow w/ grease/food traps over the years. He use big snake tool to pull/push to clean the inside of the pipe. I could see how tough the clog was, but he has all the professional tool to do the job. He also ran the hot water to clean the grease inside the pipe to make sure it clean well.
After that, he assembled all plumbing back then tested the water flow and checked for any leaks.
Trieu works w/ his heart and tries to bring the best outcome for his customer. You can’t be wrong to call him to help when in need at your house or your business. I will call him again if I need help in the future.

Trieu is the best in the Business!!! Before our snow trip, I our water heater leak and I was in a panic because we might have to delay our trip or cancel in order to get it fixed. I called Trieu at 12am, yes 12 am and he still picks up the phone and was providing me directions and help me diagnose the problem. He told me he can come first thing tomorrow, get a new tank for me and install everything within 3hrs. The next day he showed up at 8am and went right to work. I noticed he didnt just swap out the tank, but instead changed my whole top water lines as they were corroded. I mean this guy knows his stuff and got everything ready so he doesnt waste time running back and forth. After 3hrs, everything was fixed and he also waited to check for leakage which it didnt leak before he leave. I really appreciate his thorough inspection and quality of work. Nowadays, its hard to find someone who is honest and professional, but Trieu is the guy. If you have plumbing needs or need to change water heater like me, call him, you wont be disappointed. Also because of his fast response that day, I was still able to make it to my snow trip so Thank you so much Trieu!!!

Our 10-year old water heater stopped working last night. I called Adrian at 8:30 PM and he answered right away. He asked me detailed questions during off hours and was able to pinpoint the problem right away. As it turned out, the issue was the faulty gas valve. He was able to locate the replacement valve early in the morning and arrived our home at 9:15 AM. The heater was fixed 30 minutes later! The price he charged us was quite reasonable too. Great service and I highly recommend him!

We called Adrian for a quote to replace our water heater as we were unable to get it to work. Over the phone, Adrian had us tried several things to troubleshoot it because he said our heater was 1. a good brand 2. relatively new to be breaking down. After several attempts with no success he asked if it might be that our gas was not on...turns out, that was it :) Adrian was SO helpful and obviously wasn't just trying to have us replace our water heater without first making sure it really was broken. When our water heater does need replacing, we will definitely be calling Adrian!

A+ service!!! I used this company about a month ago and couldn’t be happier with the experience. I was relaxing on a Friday night when I went out to the garage at 9:30 pm to discover a stream of water flooding into my garage from my water heater. Several panicky minutes later I was able to slow the flow of water to a trickle. Figured I might be lucky if I could find someone that might answer the phone Saturday. Later I was looking for companies to call when I came across this one that said it was ok to call until 11:30. So I called around 10:00 or 11:00 pm and was surprised that I was able to speak to I believe Adrian. He said he’d have his associate Angel get back to me. Angel called me shortly and we set up a time on Saturday (the next day) that fit both of our schedules. He showed up promptly and was able to replace the water heater. The job was not easy, as he had to modify the bracing so it would be earthquake safe. He spent a good deal of his Saturday afternoon fixing my problem. Everything was looking good and he left. I took a quick cold shower to make it to a family function and headed out. When we got home late, the hot water was still just lukewarm, but I figured it just needed some more time to heat up. But it was the same the next morning and the days after as well. I called Angel and he said he could come back the next day. We set up a day that worked for both of us, and when he came, he tried to trouble shoot it, but it was still doing the same thing (the heater would heat briefly, then shut off prematurely). He decided to replace the water heater altogether, and was able to do this the same day. Everything went smoothly, and this water heater has performed perfectly. The hot water feels great and I couldn’t be happier. I really am so impressed with Angel’s expertise, service, and patience he showed through this job. I couldn’t recommend anyone higher!

My water heater turned off. It was 10 yrs old and expensive. The original contractor said it needed to be replaced. I called Adrian who was a referral. Adrian said let me first walk you through trying to relight the pilot. I told him I did it numerous times following the instructions on the unit. But he knew I was doing it wrong. So on the phone he walked me through the process. IT TURNED ON! This wonderful owner helped me! This is a owner with integrity and he is honest. Thank you Adrian. They were amazingly honest and great to work with! Another plumber had lied to me about the age of my water heater, telling me it was over 20 years old. He looked up the water heaters' serial number on the manufacturers website and found it was less than 12 years old at most and told me it was rated for 15-18 years. I still had a broken hot water recirculator that I needed replaced. I had bought one that I liked and he spent the time to help me make sure it worked for my setup and offered a good price for getting it replaced. When I mentioned one of the valves for my water heater also needed replacing he was like "oh well I'm there anyway, I can do it for maybe $5?". For the record another guy quoted me $475 to get that replaced.

Would highly recommend and will be using him again in the future!

For a little more background, if you're like me, you might take your water heater for granted, expecting it to just keep on working--day in and day out. When the water from the hot tap keeps running cold, it catches my attention.

I had a water heater that I was expecting more life out of from our home remodeling project years ago. I don't recall the warranty period, but it was probably past it.

I checked Yelp and came across Dependable Water Heaters. I liked what I read in the reviews, so I decided to try them. And boy, am I glad I did. Here's what I found:

Adrian diagnosed the issue and instantly conveyed that he knew exactly what he was talking about.

He replaced the heater and expertly placed it into a relatively tight water heater closet. About a half hour later, we had hot water.

Before he left, Adrian advised me about the importance of flushing the heater tank out once a year and showed me exactly how to do it. Fast-forward a year, and I remembered to flush the tank. The problem was that I forgot Adrian's directions. Seeing how I was dealing with natural gas and hot water, I thought I better give Adrian a call. Not only did he answer the call immediately, but he was gracious in walking me through the directions again.

Oh, and a year or two later, I found myself calling Adrian again because there was no hot water one day. He quickly diagnosed that the pilot needed to be restarted. He also cautioned that I needed to do exactly what he said for fear of causing an unintended explosion if I didn't. Listening extra carefully to Adrian's guidance, we again had hot water.

What a great value. I highly recommend Dependable Water Heaters for your water heater needs. Adrian is not only an expert on them but also a very nice guy.

Highly recommend! He was very responsive and fixed our water heater, going the extra mile by handling the warranty part replacement, which most people don’t even bother to do. He was also very reasonably priced. On top of that, he took the time to help me with a separate issue he couldn’t fix himself and gave me great recommendations for dealing with a clogged jacuzzi tub. Honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Great guy all around!

Adrian was recommended to me by a friend whom he helped install a brand-new heater. When my heater broke, I received two very expensive quotes, and I’m lucky to have found this company. I wish I had called them first. Adrian was kind enough to make an exception and take on the job even though I live 1.5 hours away. He used a 40-gallon Bradford White tank to replace my old one. Needless to say, we’re grateful, happy with the service, and highly recommend them!
