Plumbing reviews in San Leandro, California

Just wanted to thank Josue Lopez for doing such a good job on our sink. He had to install all new pipes, drain the old ones and install a faucet, and he did a great job, with no leaks, or problems!

We had such a great experience with Jesus and his team. Jesus is super communicative and even with a ton of plumbing requests from other clients during COVID, he still made us a priority. His team installed a tankless water heater for us and even came back to make sure it was working properly. We had some other issues with our plumbing that they came and checked on too. We would 100% work with them again and so glad we found them. They are the best!

Plumber arrived on time. I told him what I needed done. Just power wash my clogged sewer lines using a power washer. I've had this service done a few times in the past 6 years by other plumbing companies. The JC Green plumber said that he was going to use a snake to unclog my line instead. I told him not to use a snake because it wouldn't work. He blew off my request anyway.
He started using the snake @10 AM, getting poor results so he continued to use it anyway, even though the sewage line was still not uncloged. About 10:45AM, he gives up using the snake and starts using the power washer like I requested. The JC Green Plumber could have finished the job in 15 minutes if he would've listened to me.
So, @ 11:15Am the job is complete but not without him charging me $650.00!
I will never use JC Green plumbing again! A hard, expensive lesson to learn.
I just hope their plumbers realize that the customer is always right. -
We needed emergency work and they promptly showed up as soon as the electric and water lines were marked. They did a great job of communicating what work was to be done, what the status was, and when they would be finishing. They were very respectful of our time and space and they did a fantastic job.

2pm on Wednesday before Thanksgiving... of course my kitchen drain stops up! Called, was told they were fully booked through the weekend. As I was on my 3rd other 'sorry, we are all booked up' call to other shops, the dispatch at JC Green calls back, saying they had cancellation-- they could be at my place in 10 min. Promptly 10min later, Christian shows up with the tools and a smile. Simple roto job done quickly, professionally, (under the sink looks better than it did before!) at a fair price. For their excellent customer service and competence and bailing me out of a big jam, 5 Stars.

Huge flood in our warehouse space and they came out first thing the next day. I am SO mad I cant remember the gentleman's name, I think it started with a P?! He was so nice and very professional! We are a dog daycare and he handled dogs barking at him and us wrangling our groups. They cleared our line quickly and let us know about some city plumbing that had caused our issue in the first place! I highly recommend them!

JC Green plumbing was great to work with. Was simple to make appointment and they fixed my bathroom issues perfectly. I would highly recommend.

Super disappointed. Felt with their “floating” pricing that we were being taken advantage of.
They started off strong, great customer service. The tech assigned to our job was very professional and quickly isolated the problem. I was told, the cost to fix the issue was $850. This included him changing a valve that he recommend and installing a couple shut off valves on the piping to the water softener. He advised that we didn’t need to replace the PRV valve (Pressure reducing valve) considering another plumber just replaced it a few months ago.
He did all of the above with no problem, his efforts increased the water pressure, however as he was cleaning up I noticed a small leak above the valve he just installed. He took off the valve and attempted to redo it but it wasn’t working for him. He proceeds to say that we should replace the entire pipe because his valve wasn’t bonding to the pipe and to replace the pipe would be an additional $500. I was a bit confused on why the pipe needed to be replaced, with the exception of the small leak, it seemed to bond with no problem.
I did not authorize the pipe replacement and told him I’d think about it. Despite this, they removed the pipe and correctly installed the valve without a leak. They did not put back the PRV they removed. I was told he’d come back on Thursday to reinstall the PRV.
My understanding was since it was getting late, it was a temporary fix so the home had water for the evening.
On Thursday he comes back to reinstall the PRV they removed and was told it would be an additional $800… WHAT? Why should I have to pay an additional $800 for something they removed?
Furthermore, he said that he’d replace the PRV with a new PRV that was exactly the same as what was there… yet on Tuesday he said it didn’t need to be replaced since it was only installed a couple of months ago. I was completely thrown off. Then he proceeded with an analogy of would you buy a refurbished iPhone or a new IPhone? He wasn’t going to install a used PRV. WHAT? I didn’t buy it from a used parts store….
This strategy doesn’t make sense to me. They removed it on their own accord and not at my direction but want to charge me an additional $800 to put back something they removed? Something doesn’t seem right… As a result my home is without a PRV right now and I have no clue if it violates any requirements with the City of Livermore or HOA.
In the end, I felt they were trying to take advantage of the situation. This is something they removed and should be responsible for putting it back. Really felt like I was being scammed.
I hate leaving negative reviews but this wasn’t right. I hope this company reevaluates their process. -
Jesus and his crew are great! Speedy service and professional.

Cynthia is great with dispatch. Quick to respond and very flexible. This is my 4th time using them. They've installed a pressure assisted toilet, replaced all the metal piping under my kitchen sink with ABS and installed two toilets upstairs. It was a different person almost every time but the quality and customer service has been consistent every time.
Will continue to use them in the future. -
Have used JC Green several times over the years and they're always my go-to when I need any plumbing services performed at my home. The latest call was for a water main replacement and, as always, their team was prompt, professional, and trustworthy! From the office and scheduling staff, to the on-site servicemen, I've got nothing but good things to say. Highly recommened!

This is the second time I have used JC Green Plumbing and I can't say enough good things. They have that trifecta of professional integrity, quality workmanship, and reasonable pricing. I trust and recommend them to anyone who asks.

**Update: the team at JC Green reached out to me and sent someone out to correct some of the issues left behind after the original job. I am impressed and grateful for how quick they were to make sure I was happy with not only the work but how to property was left after the work was completed.**
What started as a toilet leak ended up requiring a repipe everything under the toilet since the pipes were 80+ years old and starting to fail. JC Green was able to send someone out same day to inspect, gave a fair quote, and started the work the same week.
I really appreciate how labor intensive it is to dig up the yard and be working under the house all day, and as someone without plumbing experience it appears to me that the work done was done well.
Unfortunately, my overall impression of the company is based mostly on how the property was treated and how it was left.
I expected a fair amount of dirt/mud to deal with considering the nature of the job. I didn’t expect to spend 2 hours cleaning mud off of not just the floors but also the walls, baseboards, cabinets, bathtub, doors, door frames, light switches etc.
Then I started finding trash in the yard, including one of the bolts that were replaced on the toilet (glad I found it before the lawn mower did), the caps for the bolts that weren’t put back on, and a handful of cigarette butts.
But the real sticking point for me was realizing that they dumped all the extra dirt from the job up against the house, in the center of a row of hedges, so that I can’t get to it to spread it out. So now I have a nearly 3ft pile of mud up against 80 year old bricks, where I already have issues controlling pests and moisture issues.
This is especially frustrating considering I have a number of places on the property where that dirt could have gone to use instead of becoming a problem, if only someone had asked me. I would have even transferred the dirt to my own tarp and spread it out myself later in the week.
It’s disappointing to have so much damage control to do when trusting people in your home to help solve a problem. A little extra communication and consideration could have prevented a lot of this. -
I had a clogged sewage line earlier this week and gave JC Green a call. They were able to send out their tech Junior who was at my house in 35 minutes. He quickly cleared the line and was on his way. Reasonable rate for top notch work. I highly recommend JC Green for any of your plumbing needs.

JC Green plumbing did an outstanding job fixing our water heating pipes at home. We had a lot of water leakage and luckily JC Green plumbing was a recommendation. They came through and did a phenomenal job while we had to be out of the house for them to have access.

I have used JC Green Plumbing for both commercial and residential plumbing needs. Excellent evaluation and solutions that save money and time. Timely, thorough, clean work with great results. Highly recommend Jesus and his great crew.

JC Green Plumbing was able to provide me with a great value for an additional gas line I was placing on my condo. It wasn't easy but JC plumbing was able to figure it out.
I didn't know exactly how extensive the work was, but I was able to get a great price, great quality, and great customer service. Will recommend to my family and friends! -
We were having issues with our hot water (or lack there of) so we decided to call a JC Green plumbing to come and check what the issue is. The girl on the phone was very pleasant and was able to get a plumber out to us the same day. Unfortunately we had to have it replaced, and he was able to do it the same day. He was extremely efficient and honest about the whole process, breaking down the costs and providing different options to get by. 10/10 would recommend.

Jc Green plumbing was recommended and I had a leak in my home. I was amazed with how quickly they were able to come to my house and take care of the leak underneath my kitchen sink. They are very professional and on time, I felt like they were looking for my best interest. I would recommend this company to all of my friends and family.

We called JC Green Plumbing after an issues with our shower pipes. Francisco was able to be at our house just a couple of hours later. He was not only knowledgeable and professional, but also a nice guy who was fun to talk to.
Our problem was solved quickly, and we paid a fair price. We will absolutely be using JC Green again in the future. -
I reached out to JC Green Plumbing after receiving an excellent reference. They did not disappoint - I had a leaking water heater, Jesus laid out my options in a very easy to understand fashion. All the work was done with precision, high attention to detail and priced competitively - I will be calling them back for future plumbing needs.
