South county drywall was on time, on budget, very friendly and did a great job. Their work was excellent. Cleaned up after themselves like no one had ever been there! Well recommended!

Had them come out to do a small job in our bathroom. When we contacted them regarding problems with the job, we started running into problems. Jeff kept assuring us that it was ok, that we were being too picky, just to give it time. He came out and started screaming at us and stated that we were "idiots." I wish we would have gone with another company. This guy Jeff was a nightmare to deal with once we had any questions or trouble with the finished product. I would never recommend them.

They did an excellent job. Had the popcorn removed off the ceiling & had lighting installed in our bathroom. Pricing was great as compared to other local companies. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They are wonderful. I'd highly recommend them. They are the only ones I use for any electrical and/or drywall projects. I've used them to patch drywall and also for recessed lighting in my home, and hey always do a wonderful job! They're on time, reasonably priced, fast, and efficient.

Let me start with saying that I previously completed and promptly paid contracts with SCD of $2k and $15k. The $2k job was scheduled for 2 days finishing on a Friday and they left my house torn up until the following Monday to come back for less then 30 minutes to sand. The $15k job was scheduled for 5 days, but ended up taking a full 10 business days to finish. Both times the head on the job, Alex, just complained constantly whenever I was around him. That's annoying but the finished product was very good so I put up with it just wanting to get it over.

Fast forward 6 months and I have another project to do. I call, get an appointment for an estimate 3-4 days later, estimator (Ron) comes, I get a quote 3-4 days later, and then schedule for 10 or so days later. Scheduled day comes and the guy shows up while I'm at work and asks my wife what he's supposed to do. So apparently there was no communication in the previous 2.5 weeks internally. I went over everything I needed with Ron during the estimate and subsequent calls, why do I have to relay all of this all over again while I am at work? The call with the job site guy, Alex again, lasted over 10 minutes and ended with him saying he can't do the job because they didn't schedule enough time. I'm like okay, understandable. But then he says he's just going to leave. I ask him what else is he and his crew going to do all day and he says "oh, I have metal showing on my tire so I'm going to take care of that". So they leave. I call the office and talk to Tammy. Tammy has no idea and says she'll have to call Ron and she'll call me back. I call again a few hours later and Tammy says that Ron needs to meet with Alex to talk and they'll call me back. I call back early the next day and they say they'll have to call me back. I call later that day after noon and talk to Tara, who has no idea what's going on and she says they'll call me back. I call the next day in the morning, leave a message, and then call two more times and they don't answer and still to this day no one has ever explained to me why they just gave up on a job that they committed to and I have wasted 3 weeks of my timeline waiting for them to do. Long story short- find another company to do your project!

Such a great experience is south county drywall! From the initial and very responsive conversation the the ownerJeff, I knew this seemed like the company for my job. Jeff was very patient and answered all of my questions. We were having acoustic ceilings removed and texturing done throughout of house. This is my wife and I's first home and we were reluctant about letting strangers in but we felt very comfortable when Jeff's employees showed up on time and ready to work. Alex was the lead man for the job and he was great! Very professional! Him and his entire team were polite, respectful and clean! This is a very dirty job and the only sign that they were there was that the popcorn ceiling was gone! We really felt that our house was in the best hands. We would recommend to friends and family for sure! Thanks Jeff, Alex and the whole South County drywall team!

From the initial consultation to the crews who showed up in a timely manner, the careful prep work, and their concern that everything was handled according to our requests. We had two living areas that needed work. One was to remove mirrors and wood from one wall and have that wall refinished with knock down. The other room needed to have the ceiling removed, new insulation, drywall, canned lights installed and then knock down. Both rooms had cracks in the walls and near corners. The team also painted the ceiling and walls. They showed up every day on time or early and got right down to work. I was more than pleased with the work and skill they provided. I feel like we have a new home!

I wanted to convert a fluorescent light recessed box in our kitchen to modern recessed LED lights. Ron's visit to estimate the work was on time and informative. Both electrician and painter arrived on schedule. There was a bit more cleanup than I hoped for after the painting but the final product looks and works great. South County Drywall is downstairs right now doing a round of upgrades for the living room.

We've had 2 slab leaks and both times Jeff's guys came over and patched the holes perfectly. They are quick, efficient, professional, and do a great job for a great price. This most recent repair was able to be repaired within 2 days of receiving the estimate. They even did a better job than the original drywallers did on a curved wall. For drywall repairs I won't go anywhere else. South County Drywall is the best! They have a customer for life.

Super happy with popcorn ceiling removal and updating of the recessed lighting that SCD did on our home.

They weren't the cheapest, but not the most expensive. We interacted with Tammy, Jessica, Nick, and Ron, and they were always professional and friendly. There was no high pressure sales tactic AND they offered cost-saving solutions. Pedro and the onsite team arrived each day in a timely manner and got the job done on schedule.

The home looks completely different just from the work they put in. I would definitely recommend South County Drywall!

I called south county Drywall after having a massive leak repair in my living room and kitchen. They gave me the same day free estimate appointment. And the price they offered was very reasonable.they came back after two days and took care of the ugly holes in my walls and cielings.
They were on time.they covered the walls and doors and floor very well.
And put drywalls and texture on holes in no time.
The texture guys knew their jobs very well and my walls and ceilings have exactly the same textures and nobody can realize that there were holes all over the place.
They cleaned up nicely afterward and left.
They did a very perfect job in my house and amazingly in just few hours.
I am so happy with this company that I ask them to come back next week and paint my place.

When I take the time to write a review that means I am completed impressed by the company & service. Starting with the quoting process with Ron. He came out right away and KNOWS exactly what needs to get done. Beside repairing holes in the walls/ceiling (from re-piping), I had a sheer wall that needed repair. Ron knows how to do it right to ensure the integrity of the wall is preserved. I thought I had to wait for two weeks but they had an opening and got me in right away. The first crew arrived on time to repair the walls. From prepping the areas to the beautiful outcome of their work, impressive! All the holes were patched and textured beautifully, including patching a 10"x10" opening in the exterior stucco wall. The crew was professional and respectful of our home. Cleaned up thoroughly afterward. The second crew came days later to paint (we had to give a few days to let the walls dry). Same professional service, from prepping to cleaning up. They did a great job with painting. But what I MUST mention in this review is the incredible knowledge of the painter to match the paint exactly to the adjacent walls. My house was painted 9 years ago and I can't even remember what paint we used. But he was able to come up with a "recipe" with Dunn Edwards to exactly match the paint and I mean EXACT MATCH. I cannot be happier! That's someone who knows paints! Because of the great match I didn't have to paint the entire family room that connects to the kitchen (open floor concept) and it saved my a lot of money. I am very happy with my experience with South County Drywall. They are price competitive (very competitive, very fair), professional, top-notch quality work. And I must not forget to mention Jessica's great support from the office, from scheduling to billing, she made the whole experience smooth and efficient. To the owner of the company - your employees/crews are doing a great job representing the quality behind the company name. Keep up the great work!

South County Drywall did a fantastic job on my new house. I am so happy with their work and I would recommend them to anyone I know. They were on time, prepared the house fantastically, and have great workmanship. Tammy who answers the phone and sets everything up is very professional and moved my start dates to accommodate my move to my new house. The guys that worked on the house were very professional and had the ceilings scraped and re-textured in 1 day. Plus they changed out the old kitchen lighting and installed new canned lights/recessed lights and re-textured the kitchen all in the same day. I was so happy with their work, I had them repaint the whole house.

I'm so excited about my new house, it might be an older house but it looks great with the updates!

A crew of 2 recently (past week) finished painting my 2 story house. They did a great job, were very professional and easy to communicate with. I had previously used South County Drywall a few years ago to remove stucco from my ceiling, install recessed lighting in 2 rooms. We were very happy with the work on those jobs as well. So when we decided we needed to paint the house, we contacted So Co. as well as 3 other painting companies. Ron was very thorough and professional when he came to give us an estimate. In the past I've had other companies slack on the clean up after, they took as much time to make sure all was cleaned up and we were happy with everything.

They are a great company to work with. They are respectful of your property, do amazing work, and leave the worksite cleaner than they found it. A++++++++

The best drywall installer, precision cuts for outlets and lighting, and for meeting butt joints. Flush to existing 1959 window and door framing over inch wide not 5/8. So, lot of shimming. Also needing to be flush with existing walls and 1/2 ceiling. Cant tell existing from new. J should be nice even if customer has an issue. Unwarranted, this time, on my part.

Top-notch work from South County Drywall! The crew did an outstanding job removing my acoustic ceilings and installing new recessed lights. They were courteous, efficient, and very clean. They also painted my walls and installed a TV mount, leaving me with a modern, beautifully finished space. They were on time every day, communicated well, and finished on schedule. A very positive experience from start to finish—highly recommended!
