OC Builders recently completed our remodel and we are EXTEREMLY happy with the results. We did complete remodel of 2 bathrooms, 1 partial bathroom remodel, new LVT floors throughout (including stairs), and interior paint of nearly the whole house.

We procrastinated for a few years and met with many contractors. From super high-end groups to DYI guys. We really wanted a company that could handle a big project, limited subs and could help with everything from design, procurement, and exectution. Sade H our project lead made all the difference and really stood out from all the other companies who bid our project. Sade is open, direct and realistic about project costs and timing. He's confident in his crew, Eric, Todd, Paulina, and Christian!! Omg and our painters Willy and Freddie were so great.

We worked with their designer Natalie and then ordered all our own materials. Ordering was a little nerve wracking for me. But Natalie & Sade worked with and advised me to vendors and finishes which help immensely.

Sade was present from start (bid process) to finish. We met weekly throughout the project and had great communication with the entire crew. I really can't say enough about the team of guys that worked on our home. We opted to stay in the house during construction and all the guys were super resepctful. Their work was effieceint, thoughtful to details, and very professional.

Sade was realistic about timelines and once all the materials were received, work began. Construction and finishing work took all of about 2.5 months. Crews worked consistently with rarely a day when there was no one working.

The work that was promised was the work that was done. On time and on budget. We can't recommend them more!

OC Builders remodeled our master and guest bathrooms and they turned out great! Our project involved moving a wall and almost completely redoing the plumbing and electrical in the two rooms. Their tile work is excellent and the cabinets and fixtures are beautiful. Friends have commented that their work is so good that the home looks like it was built with the bathrooms in this layout.

Our project manager, Haim, was attentive to our needs and on top of everything during construction. He is very easy to work with, as was the construction crew.

Our project moved along faster than we expected and we had no trouble passing building-department inspections. All in all we highly recommend OC Builders.

OC Builders remodeled my 1964 upstairs bathroom about 1 month ago. Tal and his group did a great job from start to finish. The demo was kept to the bathroom and managed to keep the hallway clean. The bathroom looks like a 5 star Hotel but with your at home feeling. Tal was in constant communication and always kept me in the loop. I recommend Tal and OC Builders for your next home project.

We interviewed several contractors before finally deciding on OC Builders Group. Moe and Evan are fabulous communicators and coordinators of work. They helped with design, computer rendering, cabinets, counter tops, paint colors and flooring. There were multiple workers in the house everyday. All were respectful of our property and our safety by wearing masks during the pandemic. It took only 5 weeks to remodel our kitchen, powder room and replace the entire flooring. I highly recommend OC Builders Group.

Evan at OC Builders quoted me a very reasonable price and did a great job with basically no oversight. They picked out good materials, appliances, and had a defined vision for the project.

If you want someone who can do the job right without handholding, Evan would be my first call.

We had a great experience working with OC builders group on the remodeling of our home including doing our floors, countertop, walls, and bathroom. When choosing a contractor to complete the renovation work to our new home, I diligently examined reviews, bids and any other available materials before making my final selection. I believe I met/spoke/received bids from about 7-9 contractors. While not the lowest bid nor the highest, I ultimately decided to go with OC Builders because of my initial meeting and secondary follow up meeting with Moe. I found that Moe was consistent and detailed. When undertaking such a large project I felt comfortable with his accessibility and responsiveness.

What started as a more simple renovation took a life of its own. We started with 2 bathroom renovations and kitchen rehaul. Ultimately we ended up expanding the scope of work to a complete upgrade of electrical, plumbing, new doors, new windows, complete interior paint and floor base molding. Not surprising, there were delays but I recognize our responsibility share for the increased scope of work change.

Moe and Evan were consistently available throughout construction rehab, provided updates every few days, listened to concerns and found acceptable solutions when issues arose. Since completion, Moe continues to be accessible for follow up work issues we found as we settled into our home.

Rehabs are never easy but Moe took the time to make it run as smoothly as possible.

Garage conversion with total of 388 sq ft. Tal was involved in the whole process and explained every step of the way. Planning, architect, blue prints, revisions, 3D rendering, city permit, revisions and finally construction. Then handed over to Evan and Daniel overseeing the construction along with construction foreman Nick. On site almost daily and knows his stuff. Definitively a challenging project with only 388 sq ft to fit a bedroom, bath, kitchen and living room. The end result is spacious, open and welcoming home. Plumbing was another big item since it had to be connected to the main house's street and not the garage street. They figured it out and made it work. Appliances and side gates pictured not included in the scope. They did a great job and so glad we chose OC Builders. Highly recommended! We are planning to have them work on our main house soon.

We are so happy we decided to go with OC Builders to remodel our downstairs. The bulk of the work was our kitchen that had been done from the previous owner. They helped come up with the renderings and we worked together to make the kitchen come together. We relied on them on many design decisions. They really tried to understand our personalities and what was important to our family when working on our project. We never felt like they were up selling us on things. The workers were friendly and reliable. They were very much attention to detail, things that I missed they caught and corrected. I blinked and the project was done.

OC Builders is arguably the premiere one-stop concierge design, development and construction Group in OC. We used them to completely gut and remodel our 1970s era kitchen. A well-oiled machine, they have a process that has been refined over many years to approach each new project in a highly organized workflow. They sub-contract with all the various trades needed for a major home remodel - design/architecture, granite, carpentry/cabinetry, plumbing, electrical etc, so you only have one point person to work with who communicates and coordinates all activities. We never had to worry about anything - it was simply taken care of; any questions or concerns we had were immediately addressed. We lived in our home while our kitchen was being remodeled - start to finish it was a full year, but time flies and they made the process as comfortable and pain-free as they humanly could. Before we moved in, they sent Adriana in to clean our new kitchen to a shiny sparkle, so all we had to do was unbox and move back in. Our project coordinator was Rob Shaw; he puts together a binder which is used for reference for all aspects of the build and available to all the subs at any time. He is fastidious in getting things to look right and work right; he is our advocate at all times. He checks in many times a week, checks on progress and communicates issues with detailed notes, pics and videos that he sends to subs. Jordy K is our designer extraordinaire; she is highly capable and asks the right questions to better understand your vision and will gently walk you through other (better) options you might not have considered, from a cost standpoint. OC Builders is not out to price gouge - they will work to save you as much money as they can without compromising quality. Fit and finish is always top notch. They clean up after they work, employ tarps for dust control; they are immensely professional and considerate. They anticipate every problem that might arise so you never notice that there was even a problem in the first place. You can expect daily updates on what has been accomplished every day, and what will be done tomorrow, and whom to expect at the house, and at what time. Their payment process is extremely user-friendly; there's a payment schedule for every major block of work completed; invoices are easily paid online. Do yourself a favor, call them - you will not be disappointed, especially if quality and a pain-free experience without hassle or headache is what you're looking for. Integrity wise, there simply is no competition and they will go so far as to eat costs to ensure you have the absolute best experience ever. As we finish up the kitchen, they are already working on remodeling our guest powder room. I love these guys, and hands-down, you will too.

We usually don’t write reviews of services because we expect the best. But we’re so thrilled with our bathroom remodel by OC Builders Group that we have to share our experience.

It took a while to realize that our jacuzzi tub from the 90s was taking up too much space in our bathroom. To make room, we had to move the shower to the spot the tub had been. We also went with a curbless shower. We added a towel warmer and a bidet.

After looking at many contractors with similar reviews and prices, we chose OC Builders Group partly because Jasmine Roth, one of our favorite designers from HGTV, had used their services on a project. We met with our project manager, Dor Perry, and finalized the project.

He suggested we meet with a design consultant, which we were a bit hesitant about since we had already designed the bathroom in our minds. But when we met with Almara, she gave us some great ideas that we hadn’t thought of and even made 3D renderings of the design, which made us even more excited to get through the final inspection so we could actually enjoy our dream bathroom.

Dor checked in on the project as it went on and made sure everything was moving along. We were impressed with the overall scheduling, which was made easier because OC Builders Group had their own employees for the different trades. Our construction supervisor, Eric Gonzales, was assigned to our project. He had a team of his guys who were with us from the start until the final inspection and approval. While we can’t remember the names of the painters, plumbers, tile people, or fabricators, we would have to give them all a big shoutout for their professionalism and attention to detail. Two employees, Tony and Christian, who were there a lot, were especially great.

They use an app called WhatsApp for all their communications, which really helped keep the job moving along. Adina from the OC Builders Group office sent out a weekly schedule for everyone. It took a while to get the County’s approval to start the job, but we were impressed that all the inspections were scheduled and got done on time.

Overall, we were really impressed with the professionalism of OC Builders Group. And we can’t believe how amazing our new bathroom is! We highly recommend them for any remodel job you are considering.

OC Builders was great to work with for a large home remodel we did. This included breaking a load bearing wall, kitchen remodel, flooring and more. Gustavo was great as the Sales consultant and transparent about pricing. The team that was doing the work was on top of things including scheduling with Maria and the project management by Robert. Thanks Maria & Robert for keeping the multiple teams on track!! They completed the job in time with only a few change orders. They are not cheap but are not very expensive either. Somewhere in the middle. Overall, great experience with the work and I would hire them again for future projects!!

This kitchen remodel, flooring, interior paint and garage remodel project was our second project after remodeling our bathroom with OC Builders in May of 2023. We used OC Builders Group for our total remodeling of kitchen and living room with an exterior expansion and we couldn’t be happier. From the very beginning of our first meeting with Dor and Natalie’s 3D design (which we used to the tee) we were extremely impressed with the quality of work and the construction and hard work of every single member of their team. Our project manager of day to day was Jason who walked us through every detail and put all of our worries to rest. Every single member of OC Builders group were very impressive with so much talent under one roof made our project so much easier.
We lived in the front part of the house during the construction and OC Builders Group made sure we had all the necessary electrical and plumbing working so we were comfortable.

After meeting with several contractors, we selected OC Builders since they offered the complete package, provided a thorough outline of what was going to be done, and seemed quite capable handling our scope of work. In short, we had a good overall experience working with them and are happy with the end product. We would definitely work with OC Builders again as well as recommend them to our friends and family.

Our Scope of Work (Whole house renovation):
Remodel kitchen, bathrooms, added a powder room, took down a couple of walls, replaced all hot/cold water lines, new gas line for the kitchen, replace AC ducts, remove asbestos popcorn ceiling, added storage area to garage, new insulation in the ceiling, upgraded the electrical panel, installed new high efficiency windows, replaced all doors, replaced sliding doors to French doors, new LVF and tile flooring, remodeled the staircase, new landscaping (pavers and privacy wall) in backyard and around the property, new rain drainage, new drip irrigation lines, and complete interior/exterior paint.

Working with the team:
Sade, our main point of contact, initiated the process and stayed with us throughout the whole project (even when he was on vacation). He was easy to work with, responsive, and offered helpful suggestions for areas that needed troubleshooting. Due to the age of the house and lapse in maintenance there were a few change orders that were required but at each step Sade provided options and explanations, but never gave a hard sell. The work crew led by Robert and Eric did a good job getting all the work done. Both were easy to work, took the time to explained what was going to be done and answered any questions. Both were also quick to return any texts and kept the work moving forward.

Quality of Work:
We are pleased with the quality of work and final product. When a mistake happened or when something wasn’t done correctly, didn’t look right, or did not turn out how we wanted the team would repair or replace the item with no fuss. They cared about making sure things were done correctly and to the satisfaction of the customer. The weekly walkthroughs really helped address any problems/concerns early before they became larger problems.

What we would’ve liked done better:
Schedule Communication/Coordination was lacking at times. At a couple of stages in the project there was a lack of clear communication on timing of when certain tasks would begin so that various materials would be on order. We had to chase down answers when the schedule indicated one thing but speaking with the crew gave a different answer. We brought up our concerns with Sade who passed it along to the rest of the team and the issue was resolved. Then as the renovation neared completion there was an outstanding item that needed to be addressed and special parts needed to be ordered however we weren’t informed of the delay so our initial expectation of when we would be able to start moving in had to be adjusted. A heads up would’ve been appreciated and allowed us to better accommodate our own schedule.

Closing:
From initial meeting to final signoff the total project took almost exactly one year. This is quite reasonable considering the scope, approving the drawing plans, meeting with designer/suppliers, pulling permits, demolition, asbestos removal, and actual renovation work (including all city inspections). The interior and exterior of the house look great. The backyard and landscaping look brand new and greatly improved. The home essentially feels like it had a refresh back to day 1 except more modern, efficient, and welcoming. We look forward to enjoying it for many years. Despite some issues that came up we would hire OC Builders again.
