I would like to thank the Semper Solaris team for their professionalism, work ethic and great customer service during my solar project. Before meeting with Semper Solaris, I was somewhat hesitant about installing solar based on unappealing comments from friends of other solar company’s poor customer service, unsatisfying results, and expensive leasing options.
Over a period of time, I had been approached by several different solar companies about their product but I wasn’t interested until a close friend recommended Semper Solaris. He was having Semper Solaris install solar on his house and told me about the company and the quality products, SunPower panels, they use. He put me in touch with Semper Solaris and from start to finish my project was effortless.
We first met with Energy Consultant, Mark Ivory, who came to our residence and showed us the advantages of solar, the size of system necessary for our needs, and the cost to “own” the system. We purchased the system and within a few days we were contacted by Customer Service Representative John Renteria. John took us through the rest of the process of the installation and activation of the system and made sure any questions we had were answered. John was very professional and kept us up to date on the project and any changes. As I stated previously the project for my wife and I went effortless thanks to John and the team. We would highly recommend Semper Solaris to family and Friends.

We would highly recommend Semper Solaris to anyone considering solar. For us it was a no brained with electric bills getting higher every month! SS was a pleasure to work with starting with Tanya, our initial contact, Melissa who kept us up to date on each and every step in the long process and right through to the end when they helped us turn the system on. All the guys that came out to the house were on time, very professional and great to work with. All in all was just about perfect! Call them!

We had a solar system installed by Semper Solaris one month ago. We are happy that the work was done by veterans and with the outcome. It was a great experience and we are extremely satisfied particularly with the attention and service we received from VERONICA MOSQUEDA. She was our contact person and go to person when we needed anything resolved before, during and after the solar installation process was completed. Veronica is a very competent and professional representative for Semper Solaris. She was always timely and efficient when we had questions and always provided the right answers. Besides being excellent at her job, Veronica is pleasant, respectful and very patient which makes her an exemplary employee at Semper Solaris. We thoroughly enjoyed speaking with her during our solar installation project.

It was a breath of fresh air having Semper Solaris install 34 solar panels. Their crew was incredibly polite and professional. My wife and I are were very surprised to see how fast they had everything up and running. Now we save big-time on our electricity bill. Great buying experience. We got panels invented in Silicon Valley by a manufacturer named Solaria. These panels are very efficient and are completely 100% black. They look really good compared to other panels.

Semper has just finished my Solar panel project with great quality, excellent service.

Sales rep Joshua is very knowledgeable and honest to help me size my system just right. He also suggested me NOT to install a battery wall because he thinks the technology is not yet mature and the price is not right.

Billie Yako is my contact person during the entire project. She is nice and very responsive, resolves issues and answer questions in a timely manner. There were a few small glitches during the project and she was able to get them fixed really quick.

The installation crew also did a great job. They did the job right, cleaned my yard afterward, and every piece of the project just looks beautiful.

Semper Solaris was very friendly, and most importantly very upfront with the cost and whole process. Installers worked fast and it only took about 1 month after the installation to get SDG&E to approve and let me run my solar. This was important because I heard it takes other companies months to get theirs solar active. System works great, they only damaged 1 roof tile and replaced it. I highly recommend Semper Solaris and the Panasonic panels to anyone looking to go Solar.

Our solar panel install was not the smoothest install. We signed up in September 2019 so that we could take advantage of the last year of the 30% solar credit. After we signed with them, Semper Solaris (SS) had a lot of mishaps and errors with our permit paperwork, which I was able to confirm because I did a lot of the follow up myself with my city’s building department. At the beginning of our project, we told SS that if we are even close to needing a panel upgrade, then we want it. SS told us we didn’t need one and we proceeded with the installation of our solar panels. In February 2020, we finally got our panels installed, only to be told by the inspector after the installation, that we need a panel upgrade. That set back our project another couple months. COVID-19 didn’t help either, as even with the panel upgrade, we had a lot more mishaps, which I won’t even go into here. The panel upgrade was finally completed in May 2020.

Our only saving grace in our project was Ashley in the corporate office, who called us before the panel upgrade. She acknowledged and accepted responsibility on behalf of SS for all the errors and made sure the project was completed. She is the ONLY reason why we are not leaving a 1 star review. If I could leave a separate 5 star review for her, I would. As of a few days ago, our solar panels are finally up and operational...8 months after we signed our contract. Thank you Ashley for your diligent work in our solar project, your hard work is greatly appreciated!

I spoke with 5 other solar installation companies before choosing Semper Solaris. The installation crew was great and they installed 14 SUNPOWER panels with an attic run in one day. Our customer care officer, Jenny Do, was fantastic. I must have contacted her over 30 times with questions about the system and installation and she was prompt and courteous every time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I will recommend Semper Solaris to any friends or family who are thinking of getting solar.

Veronica was my main point of contact and she was great. We not only communicated through email but she even provided her cell number so we could text back and forth for quicker communication. Anthony as well would email or call. I wish I had gotten the installer names because they were a great group as well. All professional and friendly and got the job done quickly and efficiently. I was very impressed with their demeanor and skill.

I've only had the panels up and running for a couple of weeks, so I can't speak to the longevity yet, but they seem great so far. Veronica also assured me that I can always reach out to them if I have any issues--even if they happen years from now. They handle the warranty repairs.

From the first meeting with a Semper Solaris sales representative we felt very good about the company and the materials used in their solar products. I was glad to deal with a U.S. veteran-owned company, and was further delighted to know that the materials are all U.S.A.-produced. Every question we had was easily answered. The communication between the company and us was superb. The system I wanted was engineered for us, and the installation went well and looks very nice. They went so far as to buy matching paint to use on the new conduits outside my home. The entire installation is "first cabin" and looks very professional. We can heartily recommend this company for your solar energy needs!

My husband and I did a lot of research on solar companies before making the jump to purchasing solar. We chose Semper Solaris for the panels they use and for the system technology.

The process took much longer than we expected because there are so many departments/people involved. I spoke with at least four different people on some days when trying to resolve some of the issues and have our questions answered. I would have liked more continuity.

Our customer service rep was John Renteria and I was very thankful for his service in resolving some issues that came up. We are happy with the system installed and when we did finally get in touch with the correct people they were courteous.

Several things didn't go right but John did everything in his power to make things right and so his service is what makes me give this company a 5 star review.

Took so long to make the contact with Support that by then the problem had fixed itself. Nonetheless, Josh monitored the situation for a week, reached out to Solar Edge for additional help, and I'm completely satisfied with Support, and really happy with my system.

Danny was awesome. Right on time, super professional and knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend Danny and Semper Solaris. Just a great experience.

The presentation and because it is veteran owned sold us. We have just started using the system and are very pleased with the work.
We like the Tesla App and being able to monitor the system. The representatives were very responsive and helpful during the whole process. The foremen and workers were always efficient and professional. We would highly recommend Semper Solaris.

The folks at Semper Solaris are top notch people. All of them have demonstrated true professionalism. I can't say enough how great the whole experience has been......from Mark (our sales person) who took the time and effort to work a great deal for us, to John (our Customer Care Officer) who guided us step by step in the process to getting our system up and running. I also want to mention Mark (our Project Manager) who was in constant contact about the timeline associated with our installation......a great person to work with. And finally, the installation crew.....what a bunch of great guys. They worked hard on one of the hottest days of the summer and finished up everything (including clean-up) in one day. We finished up our solar installation with Semper Solaris and we had a fantastic experience. Ron Schaeffer was our sales rep and explained everything in terms that we could understand and was very patient with us as we asked for several different quotes. We installed a 28-panel system and couldn't be happier with the quality of the panels. Their customer service and project managers were always available for questions and held our hand through the whole process. From start to finish, Semper Solaris made it a painless process. You can't go wrong with this company!

After thinking about and looking for a solar system for almost three years, I finally pulled the trigger with Semper Solaris. I must say that I am totally satisfied with not only my new solar system, but with the excellent service and support I've received. The sales/purchase process was very low-pressure and the installation process was very quick and easy. The installation team were very professional and throughout the installation, they were very courteous and conscientious. And, the follow-up by my personal service representative has been great, assuring that I am satisfied with the process from start to finish, and post-installation, making sure I'm happy with the system performance.

All of the questions, unknowns, and concerns were easily explained and we were happily convinced this was the company we wanted to do business with. Being a Veteran myself, I love their philosophy towards taking care of their customers. Joe proved to be a very experienced and well informed ambassador. This consult took place in late February and our system was literally installed yesterday! In a market with an unprecedented amount of contracts flooding the solar market to get ahead of the April deadline, I was very happily surprised it happened this efficiently. Another week or two and we’ll be online with the grid through SCE. Perfect timing heading into the hottest time of the year.

I did a lot of research about different solar companies and decided to go with Semper Solaris based on the combination of the panel warranty, price, and their reviews. I make the correct decision!

The entire process was a great experience. My main point of contact, Jenny, and my project manager, Jim, were great about keeping me updated of the status of the approval process and installation and were always available by text, email, or phone when I had a question.

The system has been switched on and monitored for around 10 days, and it is currently meeting all my electricity needs.

Highly recommended!
