Had a 4.7 earthquake at 7:30am. Realized by 7:45 that power was out in half the house. That's right. Half. The. House. Kookiest thing. I called Express, and they had an electrician at my doorstep ready to diagnose the problem within 2 hours. Raul was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. No matter how many questions I asked, he gave detailed answers and walked me through his process. By the end of his visit, the power issue was resolved. And! He brought my place up to current electrical code, which I definitely needed as I'm about to need an appraisal for a refi. 5 stars!

Adam helped us to look at our electrical at our house and he is super friendly, professional. He explained everything thoroughly. They were able to send Technician Oren out fast and he was great able to look at what we needed and offer good insight that I didn't think of and was extremely happy with end results and they were able to offer different options for work to be done to match my price point. Fast and easy to work with and great experience! Will use again for any other electrical needs.

Adam provided excellent service and explained things very thoroughly for us. He gave us a list of options and answered all our questions. He gave his advise on how to best balance necessity with expense and made sure safety was top of mind. We are better equipped to address the work required at our house. Very happy with Adam.

Excellent service! Adam was fantastic, helpful, and fixed all our problems. We had a pretty big job (needed to replace every outlet and switch as well as redo the breaker box), so it took all day. But he was not only efficient and thorough, he also made sure my partner and I understood everything he was doing in case something goes wrong in the future. I work from home and he was also able to work around my schedule to make sure there was the least amount of interruption possible. Couldn't recommend Adam enough for any and all electrical needs anyone might have.

I had been thinking about getting solar panels installed for a while now and never knew which company to go with. I spent a while calling different companies trying to see what they offer and I'm very glad I went with Semper Solaris! I was lucky enough to have Billie as my project coordinator she helped me out tremendously! Not only was she very communicative and ready to answer all my questions thoroughly she also understood that I was on a time crunch to get the tax credit for this year! Billie walked me through step by step and didn't leave me with any unanswered questions and concerns! Even when we had a problem arise she assured me it would be taken care of & it was! We installed solar with Semper a few years ago, and developed a roof leak that was caused by their installation. Upon contacting them, they eventually dispatched someone, but have been completely unresponsive despite leaving dozens of messages with multiple individuals to call me back just to provide simple proof that the repair was completed. This has held up our escrow of the house, and has been extremely painful.

Brian did an excellent job on servicing my HVAC system and had valuable information on maintenance and upkeep. Went above and beyond on cleaning the air-conditioning unit.

Semper Solaris did a great job on my solar system. It wasn't entirely without challenges, because my house had an addition that split my panel into 2, basically, but they figured out how to do it, and plowed through it successfully. Best of all, they met the net metering 1 date, which was quite an accomplishment. I appreciated the effort that they put through to meet the tight schedule and to get things done right.

I have been contemplating getting solar for a couple years and have done tons of research. I read reviews of companies and SemperSolaris stood out. After several other estimates at other companies, it was a relief when I met with the SemperSolaris rep. He was polite and very professional. I didn't feel like he was pressuring me to make a decision rght away or push more product/cost than necessary, which was very different from many of the other reps I had met with. He was thorough and knowledgable. Once I committed to a system with SemperSolaris, the job started rather quickly, about 2-3 days later. Laura contacted me to let me know what to expect and kept me informed throughout the whole project. Once we got the ok for installation, John contacted me to set everything up. I am active duty Navy and had to travel up north for work the week they finished installation and inspection. I had no reserves or doubts of the work being done while I was away. By the time I got home at the end of the week everything was online and we had the permission to operate from SCE. The whole process from start to finish was painless and efficient. All of the staff I encountered were professional and friendly. I have suggested your company to several friends and co-workers who are also considering solar.

We just had the system installed and it went live about a month ago. So far so good. Not the ideal time of the year to start up but I know the production will pick up in the spring and summer? The crew was very professional and did a great job on the installation. Their attention to detail was very good. Great follow up from Jim, the project manager, and Laura Vargas, the customer care manager, to be sure that the project was progressing as planned. Happy so far!

I purchased Solar from Joe Ferrando. He is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He walked me through the process and provided me with options for moving forward. I paid cash and he had it all processed in a short amount of time. The panels have been installed and I couldn't be more pleased with this level of service.

These guys were great to work with. Billie was our customer service rep and Sarine was our project manager both were always available to take my call and answer questions through out the process. Also, after everything was installed, they followed up to make sure everything was working correctly. I recommend Semper Solaris for anyone that is in the market for solar.

We just had our system installed, and I was very pleased with the service. The sales rep and support team was very professional and communicated regularly with us regarding the progress of the installation. When I had questions, I received prompt replies. This will be a bit of a story but I feel it needs to be told to ensure nobody else goes through it.

The schedule that Semper Solaris sends out is a follows:

1. Site Assessment - 1-3 Weeks
2. Design and Review - 1-3 Weeks
3. Submit for Permits - 2 - 10 Weeks
4. Installation - 1 - 2 Weeks
5. Inspection - 1 - 2 Weeks

I bought an Enphase battery system from Semper Solaris. The sales person I worked with sold them as the best installers and gave me what I considered to be a good deal. I finished signing contracts on June 6th and design began on June 14th. On June 22nd, the design was completed and I approved it. Permits were submitted on July 10th. This is where everything goes wrong.

When I began this install, I already had an existing solar system that offset my monthly electrical costs by around $300. Install began on September 21st and most everything was put on the wall but the installers were unable to onboard it. A week later, I noticed my Solar System was no longer producing and tried calling support. Support was unable to tell me anything and I was left in the dark for a few weeks.

Finally after sending an angry email on October 17th, I was contacted by a VP at Semper Solaris who promised to keep me updated with what was going on. Turns out that Enphase had been sending out bad hardware and a large number of customers were affected. Since this was supposedly out of their control, I asked multiple times to have my old controller back in since I was now incurring a large amount of costs with my Solar System being offline. I was told this was not possible and I'd have to wait it out. I looked at my original contract and they explicitly state that they are not responsible for outages related to hardware(this must have happened before).

On November, the repaired part was finally installed and my Solar System was finally brought back online. At this point, I had incurred around $600 of additional costs on my electric bill(there goes my good deal). An inspection was scheduled and I was relieved that I was no longer racking up additional energy charges.

A week later the inspection occurred and failed. I tried contacting the VP who had promised to keep me updated and still never heard back. On December 28th, I finally get a call that I could be `squeezed in` today to make the fixes for the inspection. I asked if I could schedule a more convenient time since I work from home and need power to work but was told that they didn't know when they could schedule a return. I reluctantly said yes because I'm sick of working with this company to try get what I paid for.

It's fair that the issues with parts could be out of their control but the lack of communication is inexcusable. The company is happy to deduct money out of my account but I don't seem to be a priority after they have it. Having my system offline for 2 months gave them plenty of opportunity to restore it to working order before they repaired the battery. If I hadn't had an existing solar system, these timeline may not have mattered and I probably would have at least given 3 stars. Given that I still can't get a status update to this day and I'm getting squeezed in rather than scheduled to wrap up the project makes me feel like I don't matter as a customer.

I hope this review helps you avoid the same problems I had.

Semper Solaris offers the best product and offers a great buying experience. My wife and I were a little nervous about how expensive installing solar panels would be. Their consultant was very knowledgeable and never pushy. We ended up getting our roof redone as well at the same time. Now we don’t have to worry about the roof going bad or our electric bill.

Our solar system installed by Semper is performing great. Through the whole process John Renteria kept us in the loop of all the stages and helped with any questions we had. Alex and the rest of the install team was professional and courteous even helping us map out our roofing studs for another project planned. Josh Anthony inspected the system before the county came out to make sure everything was in order, we passed. The time to install from signing the contract was maybe two weeks and we were up and running in less than a month. Thanks to everyone at Semper for a job well done at the best price!

She took the time to review and explain our system needs, answered all our questions about install timeline, and guided us through the entire process.
