Shawn and his group of professionals at Servpro did a great job of cleaning up a former smoker's room that could formerly be described as a toxic waste dump. They spent all day day cleaning and sanitizing the entire room, removing nicotine stains and smells.

The results: the place afterward, honestly, was smelling fresh and much much cleaner from floor to ceiling. I can't think of a better way to prepare this kind of room for paint.

Shawn also gave us additional expert advice on the sealer paint, other paint, and work that would be required to finish the job correctly. All in all, the service was excellent, and Shawn went beyond the call of duty in this regard.

Shawn and crew were highly professional, punctual, and thorough. If you need to rid a room or home of nicotine and cigarette smoke, this is the way to do it. We are so grateful.

Shawn came to inspect my condo and gave me his honest opinion that nothing needs to be done, not even drying because there are no elevated moisture levels. Our recent experience with ServPro of South San Francisco was EXCELLENT!! From the initial phone conversations with Crystal to the home inspection by Shawn and Marcos, we received prompt and professional service. Crystal was able to work us into their schedule, despite the busy season due to the recent heavy rains this December. Shawn and Marcos kept us posted of the arrival time for the inspection, and were even able to arrive earlier than initially planned. They were very pleasant and respectful of our home. Shawn and Marcos came equipped with shoe covers and a moisture meter, and were very thorough in their inspection of our home, including walls, floors and ceilings. Shawn was very honest in his assessment of our home. Fortunately, we didn't require any work on our home from the heavy rains this past month, which was a big relief! Shawn gave us some recommendations for a small area of residual elevated moisture in the floor. When I asked for an invoice for the home inspection, Shawn insisted that the initial inspection was free. I highly recommend Crystal and Shawn at ServPro, and wouldn't call anyone else!!!!

Had an overflowing sink in the bathroom that occurred on the weekend. The only Company to call me back that weekend was ServPro of south San Francisco. The team was professional and genuinely invested in mitigating the water damage from our home. Of all the companies we contacted, Shawn and Safalo spent the most time in analyzing and surveying the damage. We needed the work completed quickly as my parents were coming into town to spend a week with us. Shawn and Sofola worked with us to maintain that tight timeline and safalo even came on his time off to work with us. A true gentleman. These two are experts and true professionals in what they do. Shawn and his team came over to help me dry out a leak from our shower that destroyed our wood floor and walls on the floor below. They helped prepping with moving large items in the room and generally were really careful about our items. The team was very creative in helping seal off the room such that it could dry out the damaged areas and still allow us to have a normal living space at home while all this stress was going on. The team is very professional and respectful. Communications were very good in keeping us informed. Within less than a week our home is now dry and ready for repairs. Thanks Shawn and your team!

We had a water leak in the kitchen when our refrigerator water filter came loose in our San Francisco townhouse. The hardwood floor under the leak was saturated with water. We received very prompt, expert care, including very clear initial instructions from Crystal on what to do, followed by Shawn's expertise. Shawn was very frank and straightforward about plans and costs. We are extremely happy and would go back to SERVPRO again in another emergency.

We had a major water leak caused by a pipe break in the wall. The repair was difficult, as it was in the area of a ceiling with very fancy coving and plaster moulding. Shawn and his team exercised great care in removing the delicate features so they could be reinstalled. To every part of our project, Shawn was responsive, professional, attentive, and thorough. This is one of the best experiences I had with any cleaning/inspection service. Shawn, the owner/operator responded the next day. He was professional, thorough and greatly put my mind at ease as he explained his findings that we would not need his services after all. This review is for Shawn the owner and his professionalism. I had a water leak behind one of the kitchen cabinets in my mothers house and had Shawn come over for an estimate for services for water damage and mold remedy. I told him that unfortunately my parents home owners insurance did not have water damage coverage so everything is coming out of pocket. He gave us his estimate and recommended us to multiple environmental specialist to test for mold and asbestos. He explained since my parents house was an older home built in 1974 its almost always positive the home will test positive for asbestos and unfortunately if the home did test positive for asbestos we need to go through a state certified specialist for our particular problem and Shawn would not be able to help us with his services. My parents home did end up testing positive for asbestos and I shared my mold and asbestos testing results with Shawn.
Shawn then recommended us with multiple state certified specials for our particular case as well as multiple general contractors to help put my parents kitchen back together after the work is finished. Shawn went above and beyond with his professionalism and eagerness to help us out even though we could not use his services.
