I LOVE this plumbing company. I only trust them with my plumbing needs. They have been my plumber for ten years now. They are fair in pricing and they give good advice on products so that you have longer use out of them unlike other brands.
They keep the jobsite clean and tidy.

Jose and Thomas did a great job for us. We had another plumbing company hdrojet our sewer line for us, it only took them about an hour to do it and we ended up with black gunk in our bathtub and shower. It took Jose and Thomas about 4 hours to do it, not because they were slow, they weren't, but they were very thorough and professional. They showed me all the debris they got out of our sewer line and it was a lot. So the other company didn't do much of anything other than make a mess. I highly recommend JL Martinez Plumbing for any plumbing problems.

JL Martinez is hands down the best!! I had an emergency issue with a leak from the main line to my condo complex which was costing the HOA money by the minute. They showed up when they said they would and didn’t leave until everything was fixed, which was 1:30AM in the morning. I can’t thank both Thomas and Jose enough for their extraordinary work! Jose and his team did amazing work. Jose showed up as expected, listened and was thoughtful about the work that needed to be done and gave an honest estimate. He and his employee came back the next day and stayed all day until the job was done. I had a leak from my water heater and gave Jose a call on Monday night. Jose and Thomas were there the next morning to figure out what was going on. Jose is very detailed and honest. He has been to my house several time to fix things. I never feel as if I am being overcharged or given the run around.
It turns out a regulator had failed which in turn caused my water heater to fail. Agh!
Jose promptly identified the issue, discussed my options and went out of his way to explain everything to me for additional work.
Frankly, I don’t even bother to call anyone else anymore when I have plumbing issues because I know JL Martinez will do the job professionally,
correctly the first time and always with a smile!

J L Martinez is our go-to for any plumbing problems. Jose and his have totally replaced all of our pipes under our house, and also been there for smaller jobs. Their prices are fair. We saved a lot of money going with J L Martinez for the big job of replacing pipes after getting three quotes. They’re so dependable and warranty their work.

Today we had a bathroom drain that my husband tried to clear by cleaning out the pipe under the sink, but was more complicated. The pedestal sink needed to be pulled and the drain cleaned below the floor. On short notice, Thomas came out and did the job, was professional and explained everything. We’re thankful to know we can always depend on Jose and his company.

JL Martinez Plumbing is the most straightforward, honest, fair-priced plumber in San Diego! We had a sewer situation that required immediate attention. There were other plumbing companies that provided bids (2 times higher than Martinez), including another company whose solution would have made our sewer situation worse!

I called Jose, from JL Martinez, promptly received a call back and they were able to quickly come out, diagnose and provide a fair price to get our sewer/drains working. Jose explained what was needed, and why, with a reasonable price. On top of that, we were provided immediate service, including Jose and his employee working until 7PM, to finish the job in one day! They also did a great job cleaning up after the project was completed - a nice touch.

Jose is absolutely awesome! He is an honest guy who came out for a free estimate. He gave suggestions on what we could do to help the problem instead of automatically saying something was broken and that he could replace it or fix it. Really appreciate that honesty so any problem we have with plumbing from now on he is our go to guy!
