Came as scheduled to provide bid on a new a/c system for my house. As far as getting this estimate the guy was good. Explained what I was asking him pretty clearly. Provided written online estimate showing itemized details. Also tried various ways to provide a/c on my budget.
The 3 stars is because no matter what mods were made, there was still $ 5000.00 difference between his bid and the next bid.
Im still taking bids but am about to give it up until winter. A/c systems are luxury items and priced as such. What the contractors need to remember is the consumer now has fast access to check for fair prices. Also now can buy straight from the source. To me there is no justification for pricing just the unit itself with no labor or install $ 10,000.00 over what I can buy same thing for myself.
Watch any bids you get. A lot of them offering ridiculously high prices right now and proving sub par work.

I have a big house in the Calabasas area and for so long we couldn’t figure which air conditioning unit to use. We got 4-6 companies who came in to give their offer. But let me tell you something very important. Actually very very important. Non of them was even close to Igal’s professionalism.

We finally understood why the air is not distributed evenly and some area are hotter than others.

Igal was truly professional. Sat down with me and my wife. Took his notebook and draw our situation so we can actually get to the bottom of it.

Had an issue with my furnace, it was leaking water all over my garage. Igal the owner came and find the issue right a way. I was afraid it will cost me thousands of dollars to get it fix but he was honest with me and only charged me the service call since this was only small labor and no parts involve. Our air conditioning went out in the afternoon during a heatwave.
We were really concerned that we were going to have to relocate our family the next day until the AC could be fixed because our two young children have bedrooms upstairs and it gets VERY hot up there without AC.

I called I.M. Air Conditioning that night around 8pm and left them a voicemail thinking no one would get back to me until, at best, mid morning the next day. Less than 2 hours later, I got a voicemail from Miriam at I.M. saying that someone would give me a call in the morning to schedule a time to come out. I couldn't believe it when Igal called me at 7am and told me he could be there within an hour - he was there in 20 minutes :) He squeezed us into his already full day and fixed the problem without us having to get a new unit. He was in and out of our place in about 30 minutes and my husband and I were both able to continue our days without the massive inconvenience of having to wait hours for someone to come and then even longer while technicians work to figure out the problem. Igal was incredibly efficient and was able to tell us what he thought was going on and the quote range within 5 minutes. He had it fixed within 15.

I felt so great about the whole process and couldn't believe how lucky we were to have found I.M. and that they were able to quickly and efficiently solve the problem. Just bought a new house and knew I had an older Air conditioning system. Was considering moving my AC unit but Igal convinced me otherwise (would of been work and revenue for him) if I went that route.
