Called Sal's Plumbing about our tub and shower drain clog around 4;00pm and was schedule for the plumbing repair today, between 5pm to 7pm. Thomas and his assistant arrived at 5:45pm, inspected and explained the repairs, then cleared out the drain within 20 minutes. They were very professional, efficient and courteous. We will definitely use Sal's again!

Thomas has been my go to guy when it comes to my plumbing issues. This is the second time he came to my house. I called their office and asked for him and he came right away. Very professional and honest. Very thorough in his job. He explained very well even the tiniest details. Will definitely recommend!

Our shower drain was clogged and Sal's sent out Fernando to service it. He was on time, professional, respectful and went to work immediately. When he was having trouble snaking it, he went under the house to find the problem. Ultimately, our landlord decided to do the necessary repairs himself, but I would highly recommend Sal's to anyone. Ferando was so polite and helpful and insisted on cleaning the bathroom floor (like, real cleaning, not just wiping up the spilled water!). Great service.

I called Sal's yesterday to request that my storm drain be hydrojetted again. They offered to do the work the following day (today) however, they quoted a 50% higher fee than last time which was actually less than 2 years ago (3/9/2020). Given that this is a repeat job and is ridiculously easy I was disappointed that the service cost had risen by 50% to $750.

They arrived on time at 12 noon and had the proper equipment however, when I was discussing cleaning 2 very short (<25 ft) drain runs in the back, Nick the supervisor quoted me $1200 for the job!! An additional $450 above the already 50% higher charge for the main storm drain cleaning. His attitude was poor at best - telling me "You can get other quotes" knowing full well that his quote was ridiculous and capricious. I told him that I would skip cleaning the 2 additional short runs and then he told me that he was no longer interested in doing any work!! I said that I was willing to pay the $750 for the main drains as quoted by the office and after a moment he reconsidered and decided to do the primary job for which I had requested service.

After they filled the hydrojet water tank from my hose (which took 20 minutes) they proceeded to the alley to clean the main storm drains. Nick divided his attention from watching the World Cup soccer matches on his phone, running the hydroket machine and directing his 2 helpers.

The machine ran out of water before the 2nd storm drain had been completely cleaned and Nick declared that it was good enough. The time was about 1:10 pm - 70 minutes after they arrived.

He returned to my house, ran water from my hose down one drain and confirmed that water was running out of the storm drain with one of his helpers. The drains were never fully clogged - so hose water ran through without trouble before the cleaning and proved little after the cleaning.

He then presented the bill and I paid it.

That was $750 for exactly 40 minutes of actual work which translates to a rate of $1125/hr!! I understand inflation but this was usury and inconsiderate given the simplicity of the job that he had performed less than 2 years ago.

To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. I called his company again for repeat business given the good experience I had with Nick for the last cleaning. Now, I felt disrespected and abused. Today, I had little choice but to allow him to perform the service when they arrived since it had already been scheduled and it was due to rain tomorrow. I had not expected to be made to feel like I was bothering him and interrupting his ability to watch the world cup.

On my review for their service on 3/9/2020 I rated Sal's 5 stars and applauded their professionalism and service. Nick did the previous job but today he was gruff and it was not the same effort or professionalism that I experienced the first time and I was left to feel taken advantage of and abused.

I will not call them again for service nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

Wow just .. WOW. I am impressed!! Typically I dread having to call a plumber but these guys have a loyal customer in me, and I hope I can always get the same guy when I need to!! Joey, a very professional and friendly plumber really knows his stuff, has a comforting trustworthy demeanor, works quickly at a great price and even cleans up when he's done!! Wish I could give 10 out of 5 stars!!!

I called Sal's Plumbing with a number of clogs & slow drains. The person I spoke to on the phone was knowledgeable and helpful and set me up just hours later (Saturday!), and Thomas O. showed up right on time. He quickly diagnosed and took care of all the problems, cleaned up (with his own spray!), and the price was good. He's also friendly and personable and had a lot of good advice re warding off drain problems. I'm thrilled with my new plumbing company and recommend them (and Thomas) highly.

My kitchen sink was backing up and so I called 2 companies. Rooter Hero had a deal going on so I had them come out. When they got here, they said I had 2 issues and wouldn't go through the trap on the outside of the house because he was nervous it would break. Their quote was $426.
My neighbor had me call Sal's and Thomas came out that same day. Thomas knew exactly what to do and didn't see any issue with the bathroom, like Rooter Hero's did (an added $142).

Thomas was honest and didn't give me any BS. He did his magic and was on his way in less than an hour for $200 less. I had asked about another reputable company that services the south bay and Thomas said they were also a great company that even tried to recruit him before. He said he wouldn't leave Sal's because he was a great boss who always supplies them with the tools they need. I'm sold, Sal's will be my plumbers from now on. Thank you, Thomas!!

I had a clogged shower drain and needed a plumber as soon as possible. I asked a few neighbors of their plumbing resources, and my next-door neighbor highly recommended Sal’s Plumbing in Torrance, as she said “they have always done an excellent job” whenever she had them out for plumbing issues.
Friday morning @ 9:30 am, I called Sal’s Plumbing Company, Sal (the owner) answered the phone, and he scheduled my service call from 1:00-3:00 pm. Thomas from Sal’s Plumbing arrived at my home @ 2:15 pm, diagnosed and explained the issue to me with the best solution to snake the drain to locate and remove the clog. The process only took about 10-15 minutes to resolve the problem. Thomas is friendly, patient and before I agreed for him to start working on our reported issue, he explained everything he needed to do in checking the condition of the plumbing before starting the job to the price of the job,
Thomas is a GREAT service technician and I will definitely call Sal’s Plumbing again and request Thomas for any future plumbing needs.

Bryan at Sal’s has been our go-to for plumbing needs. He goes above and beyond, is very knowledgeable, thorough and professional. A big a plus is he explains the process of repairs/installs, which as a homeowner is important to me. Thank you to Bryan!

THIEVES DO NOT EVER HIRE THEM.
I hired them to fix a clogged pipe, they sent a technician who advised me to replace a trenchless pipe, he gave me a quote and I paid a $1,000 deposit they started digging a hole and found water in the soil this was back in January, he advised to wait till the summer to do the job, l agreed and they kept the $1000 deposit. I called them again this month to come finish the job they sent another technician who quoted me more than double the price, I refused to pay extra than the original quote and I asked them to refund the deposit. They refused to refund the money nor do the work after several calls they blocked my phone number and when I went physically to their office the owner came out angry and said I won't give you any money and won't refund your deposit go ahead and take me to court.

I have nothing but great things to say about this company!! I've had them out to my house twice for repairs and they were amazing both times. Everyone there is super friendly and professional. They are really clean while they are working and super respectful of your property. I had to have a major repair done to my main sewer line and they were so fast and responsive to my problem. You won't be sorry having them do your repair work.

Sal's saves the day!

I live in a townhome- My neighbors shower got clogged. He called two plumbers. The first didn't even try- said he was unable to do it- the second snaked the drain until two feet of the snake came up in my master shower! He said the two units were attached and we would have to have the HOA take care of it.

We called Sal's they came right on time! In less than half an hour both showers were drained and ready for use!

Sal's plumbing is now the only plumber we will use.

My experience with Sal’s has been great. Fernando has been to our home twice. We had him install a toilet and a drain in our kids bathroom . Then recently he fixed a problem with a drain in our bathroom that a contractor left us with. Both times Fernando was professional, knowledgeable/skilled and communicated pricing clearly. Quality of work is very important to me and I am impressed. Thank you!

This review is for SALS PLUMBING. Yes i have the correct company, dont try to lie and deflect.

I hired Sal's to do a sewer/plumbing camera scope inspection on a condo I am buying.
I told them over the phone that they may need to go through the roof or dismantle the toilet to inspect the sewer, since there isnt a good clearout for access. I also told them that I would need an inspection report and video to send to the real estate agent. They reassured me that the plumber would know what to do if theres no clearout, and that they would send a report and video over.

Well they came over and botched it completely. Turns out that THEY DONT RECORD VIDEO OR TAKE PICTURES OF THE SEWER INSPECTION. What good is an inspection without video for evidence? The "inspection report" they emailed me had very little detail and was literally about 6 sentences long which is completely useless in a home sale.

I pushed them to redo the report in clearer detail, and they revealed that THEY DIDNT EVEN INSPECT THE PIPES/SEWER UNDER THE CONDO. They inspected the pipes going from the outside yard to the outside sewer, which is the responsibility of the HOA and not mine. So after all that, i still dont know the condition of the pipes inside the home, which is the entire point of the inspection!

Unbelievable. If they cant be trusted to do a simple inspection properly, then they definitely cant be trusted to do actual work. Theyll ghost you after they take your money.

Outstanding service. Showed up within the window time and took care of my leak monitoring that insurance wanted installed. On the pricey side but peace of mind for the install. Also next day install after they ordered parts the day of. The best part is someone at the office answers the phone and not an automated system. Local and family owned really shines.
