BOTTOM LINE: WESTERN ROOTER is a professional business that offers excellent service at fair prices.
DETAILS: We hired WESTERN ROOTER to complete a variety of plumbing upgrades (install new faucets), repair (toilet) and preventative maintenance (water heater). JAMES was assigned to the job and we were very pleased with his professionalism, cleanliness, care for our home and good communication. JAMES arrived on time and was polite. All of his work was completed with minimal impact and he left the workspaces tidy. We have relied on WESTERN ROOTER for plumbing services in the past and will continue to call them based on their excellent service, great communications, fair prices and, most importantly, competent repairs, installation and maintenance.

Two gentlemen arrived at my home very quickly after my initial call regarding a backed up sewer line. Turns out that my older home didn't have a clean out connected to the sewer. They gave me a quote of $3800.00 to install one. That surprised me because that is about $1000.00 more than normal. However they also told me that it could be more depending on what else they discovered. Therefore before I let them begin I asked how much it could be; a ballpark figure. The service tech was very hesitant to give me one. Since I knew that they were set to overcharge me for the clean out I needed to know what could be the worse case scenario. Again he balked. Then I told him "I know it's not going to be $3800.00 and I know it's not going to be a million dollars so somewhere in the middle is a ballpark price. He then told me upwards of $20,000.00 to $30,000.00! I had, several years ago, looked into have my home completely re plumbed and although I know that prices have gone up it was less than $20,000.00 to do my whole home and they were also going to install a new water heater to boot. Therefore I sent the techs from World on their way. I engaged another service and they completed the job for $2,500.00. Now maybe World Rooter is a fine company but if these two techs are the norm I say take your business elsewhere.

Highly recommend Western Rooter & Plumbing. Called late at night & they got us an appointment the next morning for our waterheater issue. Rafael was excellent. He had answers for all our questions & everything was resolved the same day. Very friendly & reasonable prices.

We’ve been using Western Rooter for many years and the company has been always attentive to our requests. We really appreciate the services and the quickness of the technicians coming out to our house. Scott Asher and his apprentice were very friendly and calm and I appreciate their attitudes and professionalism. I highly recommend them and the company’s hiring team to have them work on our toilet clogging issue with the tub. They took extra steps to get in there deep even though nothing showed, they cleaned and cleared up the mess. Thank you!

Christian arrived and quickly assessed our clogged plumbing situation and went to work to clear-out the grease and debris from our plumbing. Very friendly and efficient. Will definitely call Western Rooter again whenever needed.

I have called on Western Rooter since 2010. Service is always prompt, very neat, and friendly. I wish I could remember everyone's names, but I appreciate how they always offer helpful maintenance tips.

Most recently, Jairo did a fantastic job dealing with a failed water pressure regulator, ruptured supply lines, and replacing damaged angle stops.

Prior to that, Alex made quick work of the annual backflow prevention inspection.

Other past services have included unclogging HVAC condensation pan drainage pipes several times; replacing a broken kitchen garbage disposal; and unclogging various drain pipes.

They run a good and fair business. I highly recommend Western Rooter.

The crew at Western Rooter was terrific to work with. They were very accommodating and were very willing to make last minute changes to the job. They replaced almost 100 feet of water main from the street in a day and a half. I will definitely use their services for the rest of the plumbing replacement soon.

We were refered to Western Rooter & Plumbing by another contractor. They came out to investigate a water leak. The first diagonosis was not correct, so they came out again, this time made the correct diagnosis, and waived the diagnosis fee. They performed the needed repair at a reasonable price. We appreciate their deligence and honesty as well as excellent repair work.

We had a major backup in the main line and James came out to help. He was very professional, explained what was going on, and got the clog cleared quickly. Everything is working perfectly now and the area was left clean when he finished. Great service from start to finish, I’d definitely recommend this company

He took the time to troubleshoot our situation and he was able to give us options backed with knowledgeable advice. I contacted Renowned Plumbing because of a terrible odor we were smelling in our home, & they detected a rupture in our sewer line. My house is old, so I was worried that Renowned wouldn't even have the parts to repair it, but needless to say they were able to replace our sewer with no problem. Highly recommend!

The Renowned works, you get a price before they even start, and they are clear about what could go wrong and how much more the job will cost if that happens. Their people are kind, communicative, respectful, and clean (they even wear shoe-covers when in the house). Just wonderful to work with all the way around!
