I was placed in the unfortunate situation of my water heater leaking under my floors and cabinets. My insurance company let me choose my own company for water mitigation/repairs and I chose American Response Team, due to their great reviews, and they absolutely delivered. Felipe has been nothing but amazing during the process and was able to schedule same-day to come do an evaluation of the situation. He was educating me on the whole process (start to finish) and answering any questions I had. Everyone on the team has done what was needed and did it right, which is the most important part.
I've never had to deal with this situation before, but I would recommend American Response Team to anyone who has an unfortunate situation like mine. They are quite thorough and kind. This kind of fix will never be done overnight and it takes time. But it is done correctly and professionally. These guys are great. Thank you all!

I had an unknown leak turn into a flood that was discovered upon coming back from vacation. I called American Response Team right away. American Response Team went through the process to hire all of the other companies I needed for the job. Their workers were on time and did everything they said they would do.

I especially want to acknowledge Felipe because he was a nice, professional guy, always on time, easy to talk to, explained things before they happened, and answered all of my questions. I'm still in the process of rebuilding after the water damage, but wanted to leave a review about the Remediation Department and Felipe specifically.

American Response came out the same day I called and moved quickly to dry out our damaged floors and walls. Filipe was always very responsive to my emails and text messages. He respected our need to stay in our home during the remediation and did his best to accommodate our needs. We have unfortunately had to use them in the past for another slab leak and as before they were wonderful! I would highly recommend there team for your remediation needs.

Christian from American response team showed up after a pipe had bursted inside the wall behind my shower. He and his team were very professional and courteous of our situation. Christian even made himself available 24/7 to guide me through the process and answering any concerns that I might have had.This company went above and beyond on the water mitigation for my home. We had a very positive experience with American Response Team during the remediation phase. Felipe Gayosso was great at communicating the process to us which helped to eliminate some of our stress. He was thoughtful, very organized and managed to get a crew out here quickly to take care of our water issue. I can’t say enough good things about Felipe. Likewise Anthony who worked on the deconstruction phase was very good at his job and thoughtful.

American Response Team is doing a great job. I truly appreciate their focus on quality, strong communication and follow through. Felipe specifically has done an amazing job. I really appreciate his effort, being proactive, helpful, and informative during this whole process. We’re dealing with water damage from a leak in a bathroom pipe. Felipe got started right away and made sure the situation didn’t get any worse than it already was. Highly recommend.

We’ve had to call on American Response Team twice now—both times for the same general area in our home. The first time was about 2.5 years ago, and unfortunately, a new leak developed in the same area recently, this time coming from the toilet. Understandably, I was initially concerned that this might have been due to the original installation—perhaps a reused wax ring or something missed.

However, I really appreciated how the owner, Will, handled the situation. He took the time to personally speak with me, look up our original file, and even went as far as sending photos from the original job showing that the wax ring installed was indeed brand new. That level of follow-through and transparency was very reassuring.

Both times we’ve used them, their response time and communication have been excellent. They were professional, efficient, and respectful of our home.

While I obviously hope I won’t need their services again anytime soon, it’s a relief to know that if I do, I’ll be in good hands. Highly recommend American Response Team for their integrity and customer service.

We had a flood downstairs and my plumber arranged for American Response Team to help us. Felipe arrived quickly and from the get go, he put me at ease with his clear explanation of what work needs to be done, how he will help to liaise with my insurance company and gave me the reassurance that he will take care of us. He surely did! He was constantly in communication with me. His teammate David was also very respectful and worked quickly.
But Felipe went over and beyond what I expected from the company. When my insurance rep came by and cut a portion of my carpets out, they left some exposed nails in the ground. Felipe covered them with cardboard so that my dogs won’t hurt themselves. When I had another unexpected leak from one of my angle valves, I called Felipe as I didn’t know what to do. He came by after work hours and helped place caps and told me to get my plumber to change the valves. He even followed up with me to ensure there was no more leak!
Felipe is a true gem! It’s a reflection of how much he cares for his customers. His actions go way beyond his duties. American Response Team has such a great team! Everyone who walked through my door was respectful and clearly knew what they were doing. I’m very grateful my plumber put me in touch with them.

I had a water leak in my bathroom and called American Response in the morning. By that same afternoon, they were at my place, investigating the issue and starting the drying process. Over the next few days, their team took asbestos test samples, demolished the affected area, and sent estimates for the reconstruction to the insurance company.

Christian was a huge help, always responsive to my texts and calls. He kept me informed about what each team member was working on and what the next steps would be. The case is currently under review by the insurance company, and I’m hopeful that the rest of the process will go as smoothly as it has so far.

Christian was excellent throughout the whole process of water mitigation. We had a kitchen water leak which Christian assessed. He gave us excellent advice and his team started the dry-out process right away. He was very patient in explaining the extent of the damage was and kept us well informed throughout. They are also excellent at working with insurance and resolving any issues therein.

I highly recommend Christian and his team for their integrity and expertise.

You certainly hope to never have to call somebody like this, but if you do, these people are pros. Filipe Immediately came out to my home and put my mind at rest. No one likes to go through this have their house flooded Drywall ripped out flooring ripped out, worrying about insurance companies, etc. where are you gonna get the money? It’s just quite a pain in the butt. However, these guys were top-notch professionals and my house is dry and the problem fixed. Thank you American response team. sincerely, Jim Lytle

We had a pipe leak in the ceiling of our family room. American Response Team responded quickly, stopped the leak, and fixed the water damage. Felipe Gayosso was excellent. I highly recommend him!
