Nucave construction came highly recommended to us and they did not disappoint. The transformation of our house was incredible and we could not be happier. We were treated kindly by everyone who worked on our house and Ryan and Pete worked hand to give us exactly what we wanted- new floors, kitchen, bathrooms, exterior, and cantina doors. We hired Nucave to waterproof and do some repairs on my rooftop deck. We had some water damage to a upstairs bedroom due to heavy rains back in March. We had gotten numerous quotes that were over the top ridiculous. After interviewing Ryan, and hearing his thoughts on what needed to be done I felt confident in his expertise.The professionalism that Ryan and his team was quite impressive. Major props to all the guys at Nucave for transforming our unfinished garage into a complete masterpiece of an ADU that our mom can now live in. Just last year, my husband was calling around to several different companies to build something for us and Ryan from Nucave was the only one who was willing to show up that same day (on a weekend) to hear us out. We worked closely with Stuart and Peter for months and they got us through multiple unexpected delays and issues and found solutions to everything that came up. My mom was able to customize her ADU along the way and be just as involved as we were even though she was across the US. Stuart and Peter responded to my husband every single time he called or texted, which was often, and kept us in the loop about every single update or next step. We told Stuart the date that my mom was making her drive and he had the place move-in ready that same week. We are truly blown away by how beautiful everything looks and appreciate Nucave for pulling out all the stops to get us here. Nucave brought my ADU vision to life!! I had a dilapidated detached garage with many issues and they guided me in the right direction and helped me overcome obstacle after obstacle with the city of San Diego. Ryan and Pete went above and beyond to try to honor the look and style I was going for and had excellent communication from start to finish of on this project. No construction project is ever easy or perfect but they did everything they said they would do and more. Nucave built an outdoor room attached to our family room wall. It was not an easy job but Ryan and Pete did a great job.
Ryan has a very good eye for design and Pete was a perfectionist with the construction details. They did such a fine job that we are now considering them for a kitchen remodel.

Love my new ADU-every detail's exquisite and was shocked at how quickly it was done. Under-cabinet lights give a soft, ambient glow, cabinets close silently, outlets to hang TV, and built-in charging docks feel seamless. Soundproofed bliss, vaulted ceilings with skylights make mornings magical. Economy power efficient, first power bill was half of what I anticipated and the AC splits have a room ice cold in <5 minutes. Ryan with Nucave a master at luxury. Ryan and his team are absolutely amazing, efficient, attentive, meticulous! My OCD couldn’t find anything in a new build, I’m used to building homes and still finding some details missed, not Ryan!This process was painless, FUN and fast, I couldn’t believe the efficiency. I would strongly recommend if you want a luxury ADU, not this prefab paper thin builds, its quality!

We worked as the design team on a bathroom / laundry remodel project with Ryan and his team and it was seamless from start to finish! They communicated consistently throughout the project (hard to come by), they were reliable in scheduling, and the finished product is some of the best craftsmanship we have seen. We have already referred them to numerous clients and cannot recommend them enough.

We had Ryan Bittner and his team at Nucave Construction perform a remodel of our laundry room and secondary hall & bathroom. We could not have been more impressed. The attention to detail, artistry, and craftsmanship was only surpassed by the efficient management of the project, communication, and cleanliness. All of the subcontractors were polite, respectful, and masters of their craft. We will be using them for future projects we have in the planning stages.

CDC was able to resolve an engineering issue discovered during demo on an elevator addition in Bird Rock LaJolla. We contracted with CDC to frame the elevator structure. All work was performed to our satisfaction.

CDC (Construction Design Construction) designed an addition/master suite with bathroom for our aged, existing home. Added into the project was a wraparound roof extension, porch cover. We wanted the addition to flow from the home as if it were an original installation. With oak floors throughout, the floor seams to the roof peaks were meticulous, reflecting attention to detail, the superb craftsmanship they are known for. The exterior stucco workers commented to us, ‘we’ve never worked on walls that were so plumb and square. Excellent work!’ The owner, Jared Ray, worked with us from design through completion. With his detailed oversight we were not only impressed, but extremely happy with the outcome of our project. Even our neighbors expressed the cleanliness of the site, friendly workers and quality of the work. You will not be unhappy with any aspect of work, from the ground up, that CDC provides you. And we would use them again without reservation.

I have had a few projects now with CDC and every time they finish on time and no issues. They have worked great with me on scheduling and working around our business needs!! I highly recommend them not just on residential but from a commercial end as well!
