We had a toilet emergency last night and Hometown Plumbing responded quickly. Our toilet bowl kept on filling even though we had shot off water etc...The pipes were full of water due to a blockage and so water kept on accumulating in pipes, not allowing anything to get to septic tanks. Jorge quickly identified the issue. Jorge was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and was able to solve our problem. It took a little while but he never gave up and made sure all was great before he left. He came at 11PM with a smile and ready to do whatever was needed to help us. Thank you!

From my first call, I was treated as a customer should be treated. Kate, the office manager, dispatched Joseph Montoya. He is efficient, communicative and a pro. He spent two hours running tests and came to correct diagnosis. He even shared the replacement part number so I could buy online, which was a savings. When I received the part, the office sent Joseph out within an hour to finish the repair. From now on, they will be my “go-to” company for plumbing needs.

My mom experienced a water break behind her toilet, flooding her bathroom. I contacted Hometown Plumbing while in route, explained the situation and Travis, the dispatcher, had somebody rolling to my moms within the hour. I was able to secure the water before the plumber arrived .
Randy showed up and assessed the situation. Within an hour, repairs were made, Professionally and clean. Randy knew what he had to do. He went well and beyond and performed repairs quickly. Definitely a great employee and person.

Cesar did a great job and at a reasonable price. I checked other plumbers for this very simple plumbing issue (replace very old drippy bathroom faucet) and the quotes were higher and one was OUTRAGEOUS!! Hometown plumbing will be my first call from now on!!

Mr. Joseph responded within 20 minute of my non emergency leak and plumbing clog call. He was honest with cost and how to get the issues fixed with little cost. He was also eager to look at a couple other things around the house that I told him may need work eventually and gave quotes. I will definitely keep using him as my plumber.

This company didn’t come to my house but I’m going to give them a 5 star review because the person who helped me over the phone answered my questions and helped me resolve the issue on my own, without the need to provide a service. I think that speaks to the integrity of a company over their interest in just making money. Thank you hometown plumbing.

This review is overdue (it’s been a busy year), but I need to give some much deserved praise to Hometown Plumbing! They are our go-to plumber now. They just go above and beyond and do quality work for a reasonable price. Their business is run very ethically. They tell you like it is and never try to up sell you.

My husband and I just bought a house in Vista last November, which is a major fixer. I’ve since learned that some contractors are more salespeople than they are tradespeople. Not Hometown! They are a good company.

We have worked with Hometown four times. The first time was for an estimate for a sewer line repair. Jorge came out and you can just tell he really knows his trade . Better yet, he’s not trying to upsell you on things you don’t need! When we were shipping around, we got an estimate from a different plumber and the *other guy* never showed us any specific issues but just was trying to get us to redo all of the plumbing in our house ($$$$$)! From that point, Jorge stood out in my mind as a trustworthy contractor.

The second time was having our kitchen sink plumbing installed (u-trap, air gap, garbage disposal). I don’t remember the names of the two guys who came out that time, but they were very professional, friendly, and did a great job! The price was reasonable and they installed in very quickly.

The third time was when we had to have some major work done on our sewer. We waited too long and there was a blockage. This time, Vu (the owner) came out to do the work. He was just so great and took the time to explain everything to us. At first we thought it was just the water line, but they soon discovered it was the sewer line after all. It had been installed with the wrong grade before (we have a really long driveway). At this point, they could have left us hanging but Vu stands by his work and wouldn’t complete a job without knowing it was done right. They dug up the whole line and laid a new one for us, this time with the right grade. I was so impressed with his integrity and the quality of the work. From that point I was definitely a lifelong customer!

The fourth time was for some other plumbing issues we had in the back of our property. We have old cast iron and it needs to be replaced. The crew was great and helped us with a temporary solution to the blockage while we save up some more money for a more permanent solution. (Oh the joys of being home owners)

To sum it all up, I highly recommend Hometown Plumbing! If you want a reliable, trustworthy contractor that does quality work, this is the place. Thank you Hometown Plumbing!

This company sucks. They sent a representative Nathan out who did a horrible job he kept leaving and coming back saying he had to go back to Home Depot just to swap out a garbage disposal and in the end nothing worked. I paid $790..to him. Wow!! on the promise of his return which he never did. Him and the company just kept making excuses and putting me off. Never use this company!!

Beware. When I called I was told the plumber will come and give the price. The plumber called 4 hours after the arranged time and said a water hose change will cost 400 dollars. They wasted my whole day. If they had told me the price when I called first, I wouldn’t make the appointment. Who pays 400$ for such a small job. I Do not recommend them.

I want to thank Phillip Conarroe for the excellent service he provided. He was prompt, courteous, easily reviewed the plumbing issue, and had a fast fix, and made sure the leak was resolved by staying and running the water to fill the sink multiple times - just to provide full assurance the leak was remedied. It is refreshing for someone to provide that nice and courteous level of service! Thank you Phillip!

I called a service that had good reviews that advertised “same day plumber”. I needed to replace a $15.00 part on a Kohler toilet, the silver flush handle. The gentleman called me and told me it would cost $425.00

I think that is an absurd price. I will happily wait a few days for my handyman to come and replace for $60 plus the cost of the part.

The service was great! Adan did an amazing job. He quickly did the job due to my time limit to have the service done. He explained to me what was happening and what caused the problem. He was very respectful and mindful of keeping the work area clean. I will definitely use Hometown plumbing again. Thank you Adan your the best.

On a 3 day holiday weekend I had a sewer issue, my shower would not drain. I called Hometown Plumbing and understood there would be an extra $150 fee for coming on a weekend. When the guy got here, for some reason he didn't want to use the snake, but he did want to use the much more expensive camera. As he put the camera down it barely touched the blockage, which unplugged it, and the shower drained. I was then charged the $310 camera fee. The job could have been done for much less had he been willing to use the snake. I do not recommend this company

Hilario was AMAZING! We purchased a new washer and dryer tower to be delivered and installed, only to find our we had corroded valves...so installation came to a halt. After waiting a month for the delivery (and not being able to do laundry), we were crushed. I reached out to Hometown Plumbing, who sent Hilario out within hours! When he arrived, he was thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was able to replace the valves immediately. He went above and beyond! He was communicative, and even explained that he left a note for the installers, since our hot and cold water lines were switched. That literally saved us time and headache since I'm sure they would not have checked. I cannot recommend Hilario enough! Be sure to call and ask for him!

David was awesome. Very friendly and super professional. He was able to repair several plumbing issues that I have been a problem for a long time. He was also very informative about teaching me the proper way to use my new parts and ways to avoid repeating the same issues. Thank you so much David! 100% would recommend.

We were extremely fortunate to have David Martinez with Hometown Plumbing come and repair our bursted bathroom pipe. He is so very professional and knowledgeable. He was also so friendly and helpful. We recommend them highly. Make sure you ask for David Martinez!!

Contacted Hometown Plumbing for some required water heater related plumbing repairs needed per escrow after finding them on Google. They sent out a plumber named Matthew. He arrived later then expected but called and informed me which was appreciated. He was polite and was willing to find the best way to complete the repairs without going over my planned budget. Stayed late and did the needed repairs. The next day we noticed the pilot was not lit and we had no hot water so we had to call Hometown again and they sent another guy over quickly to fix it. Overall a decent experience in regards to the plumbing. While Matthew was there working he took an interest in the yard sale I was having to prepare for our move. He even offered to sale a few things for me stating he did that on the side, which I thought was nice given we were moving and could use the help. When he left for the day I took him up on his offer and he took several items from my house with the promise to sell them and send me some of the money. After several attempts to contact him via phone and text he responded that he had sold some of the items and kept some for himself but never sent me any of the money. Just a heads up for anyone else who runs into this situation with him. I learned my lesson, just another reminder to not trust people at their word.

So incredibly grateful for the service we received! We heard back quickly from Saul, who was incredibly professional and understanding of our need to have this job (leaky faucet replaced at my mom’s!) taken care of same day! He stayed in communication as to when he would be available, arrived when he said, and then was able to take care of the problem and made my mom feel comfortable and confident in the work done!
