Appliance Repair reviews in Aurora, Colorado

Same as all the other reviews, sent by the warranty company for the dishwasher. It’s still broke. They’ve been here 4 times. I’m about to buy a new dishwasher since these guys can’t fix a simple problem.

The absolute worst! If I could give them a negative star, I would. Unprofessional, unreliable. Overbook appointment. Miscommunication. Literally everything. When asked to speak to a supervisor or a manager, they are either never available and the only way of contacting them is via email. Frustrating having to deal with them.

We were nervous because of the reviews, but looks like they've really made an effort to do better and we really had a great experience. Their technician Max was a man of few words but he was the fastest and maybe the best repariman we've ever worked with. Appoitments were on time and commuication with the home office was great as well. 5-stars for getting our washing machine working again, thanks!

It’s frustrating to see that every review mirrors the exact issues I experienced with this company. Their warranty process is a joke — they barely inspect the product, then give a questionable diagnosis that AHS won’t cover, even when the device clearly failed on its own (in my case, a dishwasher). They even invent additional ‘concerns’ about parts that were working perfectly just to give AHS more reasons to deny the claim.
When you call for clarification, you’re met with rude support staff who refuse to explain anything, deny what they wrote, and then close the case without resolution.
What makes it worse is that they operate like a company that doesn’t care about customer feedback at all. They know they’ll keep getting business through home warranties regardless, and that attitude shows in every part of the process.
This is genuinely one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with, and the consistency of similar reviews says it all.
So ill post this for others - but they will never case as a company to read it or do anything with our feedback -
If I could give this place -100 I would. This is the worst service we have ever received. 4 times out, and our dishwasher still does not work. Also, the address listed on their website is someone's home address. Please, please please do not waste your money here. They will give you the run around and then blame it on you. The technician is not qualified and the customer service is quite possibly worse than dealing with Spirit Airlines.

Repair tech was grossly incompetent in diagnosing our Fridgidaire oven repair. Before following the proper sequence of checking thermofuses and heating elements where he would have had to remove the oven from the wall, he said it was a bad motherboard. I waited nearly two months only to call another repair company with a diagnosis of a bad thermofuse. The motherboard was also discontinued but Aurora Appliance continued to insist the motherboard was on order. They lie, have terrible customer reps who never update you on a delayed repair and ill-trained techs. Don't ever use these guys. Remarkably, this is the authorized service rep for Electrolux/Fridgidaire. The oven was 5 years old at failure time.

American Home Shield has sent this vendor 3 times in the past couple years to fix my electric range. These technicians have a difficulty understanding me and are not willing to look into the cause of why the range keeps breaking. They merely fix a loose wire and immediately want my signature so they can leave. Then, the whole oven breaks again two months later and I have to pay for the to come again. They do not get to the root issue. Additionally, they do not keep record of what the previous repairs they have done entailed. They clam they will send me photos and write up of the repair but it does not come through. The oven has completely broken now for a 4th time in two years and I will not allow American Home Shield to send this vendor again.

If I could give negative 10 stars, I absolutely would! They are NOT "the trusted provider for the Denver Metro area" as they claim. We have Assurant insurance for all our appliances, and our freestanding ice maker is leaking with white residue everywhere. The first technician who came out was completely unprofessional. He could barely speak English, wasn't dressed appropriately, and was extremely rude. Right off the bat, he insisted, "This is supposed to be a refrigerator, not a freestanding ice maker."
We paid and submitted the claim for the free standing ice maker—how is it our fault that the information wasn’t communicated correctly to the technician? Regardless, it shouldn't have mattered; he was there to diagnose the issue so Aurora Appliance could submit the claim properly. But instead, he barely looked at it, didn’t diagnose anything, took a picture, and left! And then they had the audacity to submit the claim stating that nothing is wrong with the unit and Assurant closed the claim! Are you kidding me?? The ice maker is leaking water and has white stuff coming out everywhere!
Now, I have to waste more time getting another provider to come out and inspect the unit. Avoid this company at all costs—their customer service and technicians lack professionalism, knowledge, and they clearly don’t care about their customers! -
American Home Shield uses this scam of a contractor for their repairs. Took 3 times and over a month for a fix on my washing machine. Now my refrigerator had issues called again and they sent this same company out to do the repairs. Tech claims it is the condenser, replaced Monday. Tech did not turn the water back on. So, I pulled out the refrigerator and turned the water on. Next thing I know the whole kitchen floor is full of water. Water pouring out from the water/ice hoses under the fridge. This company should be embarrassed at the quality of their work. If I could give 0 stars that would be more in check with the reality of this company.

Horrible experience. Incompetent technician that had a mental breakdown in my home. Ordered two parts, replaced one (said he didn’t want to replace the other part) and left with the brand new dishwasher not fixed. Frigidaire needs to find a new service company to handle their warranty issues in Denver. Aurora appliance deserves a negative star rating.

Worst repair experience I've ever had. I have a home warranty through American Home Shield, so they contracted Aurora Appliance Repair to come out and fix my samsung refrigerator. The technician is nice, but has attempted to fix my fridge at least 6 times, probably 7 with no avail. Keep in mind that I have to sit around for a 5 hour window every time a service is scheduled. Just a waste of time. The ice machine is still broken, the fridge temperature is at 30 or below, so everything continues to freeze. Management refuses to take the technicians report stating that the unit is not repairable, so my home warranty is refusing to replace the unit. I have had to spend so many days out of work and I'm losing so much money at this point, I could have just bought another fridge. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a service request and based on the reviews and an astonishing 1.5 rating, I never should have used this company in the first place. Front desk is less than helpful and they will refuse to put you through to a manager. So unprofessional and really just negligent at this point. It feels like they are just stalling the work so they can continue to charge my home warranty. this has been open for 2 months and every month I have to pay $100 just to keep the service open. In the picture below, you can literally see the ice buildup from the inside of the fridge. It has been like this every time the tech has come out.

Genuinely disgusted by this business and their practices. American Home Shield uses this company as an appliance repair contractor, however, as every review will tell you they don’t actually ever fix your appliances. After multiple hours on the phone with our warranty company, we found out that Aurora doesn’t have to get approval to continuously come out, if they can keep the repair cost under a certain dollar amount, but they still get paid for every visit. They have been replacing the same two parts on my still very broken dishwasher (door seal & gasket) for over four months and simply collecting a paycheck from the home warranty company while never fixing anything and refusing to stay for a full wash cycle to ensure the appliance works. I am honestly floored that they are still in business. I would stay as far away from this company as possible and if you have a home warranty, request someone else be sent out. Photo is from less than 30 minutes after the tech left and the company refused to send him back because he was “busy.”

If I could leave a 0 star that is what I would do. My warranty company sends this company to fix appliances and they are terrible to work with. Most recently they have been to my home 3 times and still haven't fixed my dryer. It makes a loud sound and the technician said the motor he replaced was bad and he would let his company know. Now the company is telling my home warranty company that the loud obnoxious noise is normal and they won't return to my home. The dryer is loud, it keeps stopping mid dry and won't completely dry the clothes. I reached out to my warranty company on 11/26 to get this started and now it is 1/3 and I still don't have a working dryer. If you search google reviews the reviews are just like mine with them not fixing the appliances. They also take a very long time to schedule you and then order your parts so you can count on weeks before they even get to your home. I am not sure how they are still in business with 16 complaints in 3 years at the BBB. I warned my home warranty company about them so hopefully they will drop them but we'll see.

Lowes extended warranty company sent these clowns to fix our washer. They cleaned the pump.”was never the issue” and said we were good to go.my wife called them to let them know we still had the same issue. They never called back. Tried to call the number on the invoice to find it wasn’t an active number. Ended up calling a different company to come out. The other company fixed the actual problem. Also I was there with the next company fix the control board the actual problem the whole time. After my first wash my ceiling started leaking. Called the other company back out( they actually answered) came back out and tool the entire washer apart to find the technician at aurora appliany did not put all the screws in the pump and had a loose screw causing the pump to spewing water. After calling Lowe’s again my washer was deemed non repairable. And now I have water damage because these idiots have no clue what they are doing. Also they should have their business license revoked. Thanks for wrecking my house and avoiding your customers!!!!!!!! I will be attempting to pursue legal action. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!

⭐ 1 Star – Terrible Service & Misrepresentation
This is by far the worst appliance service company I have ever dealt with.
The technician came out to diagnose a washing machine that was violently shaking and literally walking across the room. He had to rely on Google videos to try to figure out the issue, which immediately raised concerns about his experience.
We were told parts needed to be ordered and that he would return. Two weeks passed with no follow-up, no call, and no update.
When I contacted Electrolux directly to check the status, I was shocked to learn that the technician reported the unit as “working fine” and closed the service ticket—without fixing anything and without notifying us.
Since then, we have been completely unable to reach anyone at Aurora Appliance or the technician who came to our home. No returned calls, no accountability.
At this point, the lack of communication and false reporting makes this company feel illegitimate. If you are referred to Aurora Appliance, I strongly recommend staying clear. -
Just here to share another of many 1 star reviews for this awful company. I’d give zero stars if it was an option. Absolutely ignored the entire reason I filed a claim and focused on a cosmetic defect that I didn’t even care about! The technician was rude, unhelpful and told us it was not abnormal to put a glass of water in the microwave for 5 minutes and be able to grab it and put your fingers in it still. A waste of time and money. Do not use this company and if your home warranty company uses it, request another company or leave your home warranty company for backing this useless appliance “repair” company.

Booked an appointment through Frigidaire because this is who they use for their warranty repairs. Didn’t decide to tell me DAY OF when I CALLED THEM to tell me they don’t service my area and that they are waiting for an extra fee to get approved from Frigidaire. Thanks for the poor communication. Looking at these reviews I dodged a bullet it seems. I’d rather pay out of pocket for someone who knows how to communicate.

We’ve had Aurora Appliance Service and Repair come to our home several times through American Home Shield for a variety of appliances — including our oven, microwave, washer, dryer, fridge, and freezer. Every experience has been positive. Their team is consistently kind, professional, and knowledgeable — and most importantly, they’ve successfully fixed each appliance every time. We truly appreciate their reliable service!

Vadzim is easy to work with, prompt, explains everything he finds and gives different solution options. Reasonable prices and great service. Been using his company for awhile now !

This company is an amazing company to deal with for me. Their technician was very pleasant and expert about how to fix my range that was not igniting. I must say that he went above and beyond in all aspects of the service. I have nothing to say about this company and this guy. They are all perfect and professional. Highly recommended!

The company, as well as the technician, were exceptional! Yesterday, one of your technicians came to my house in San Francisco to repair my refrigerator making noise. He even had a positive attitude when speaking with me. He gave excellent service, and I was satisfied with it. It prompted me to contact your firm once more. Thank you very much!
