Plumbing reviews in Aurora, Colorado

Came out on short notice on a Saturday after my faucet replacement project revealed some bigger problems. Gave me a cheap option to fix it myself that might last a couple of years or two options for him to repair - one a low budget, short-term solution or one a permanent fix. We opted for the permanent fix and it was all done the same day. Would highly recommend.

Have a food truck and was happy to hear they worked on them. Plumber came out to look at my $250 water heater and $50 faucet. After an hour of telling me the current set up was difficult to replace (I bought the faucet at Home Depot, the water heater locally, so wrong on both counts), the tech quoted me a $3000 repair estimate. All I needed was a new faucet and new water heater. I could understand $800-$1000 because most plumber gouge a bit but $3000 was completely insane and predatory. I filled the tech’s ears with f bombs and he couldn’t drive away fast enough. Complete and total scam outfit. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR BS!

Called these guys for a quote to replace my outdoor faucet. The new faucet only cost 40 dollars and it is a simple cut of old pipe and welding the new faucet in an unfinished basement. They quoted me $850 dollars (REALLY!!!!!!).
When I asked why he gave me some excuse about paying for his 2 mil liability insurance. I am trying to give some business during these uncertain times but this is RIDICULOUS!!!!! I found someone else to do it for under $200 dollars. -
Best plumber I have ever called! I'm a DIY person and I ran into some problems replacing my bathtub spout. I called and he promptly asked me to text him some pictures as he believed he could walk me through the repairs on the phone. After sending the pictures, he immediately called back with all of the info I needed to finish the repairs myself as well as what parts and tools I would need to get. He also offered various price quotes for each aspect of the repair should I want them to come do it. He didn't charge a dime and now I have the knowledge and tools to do it myself!

I had an appointment scheduled for 11am. At 11:15am, no one from Drains R Us had called me or shown up, so I called them. I was informed that "Robert" was at another job and would head to my house afterwards. I was informed that I would get a call when Robert was on his way over. I waited until 1:50pm to call the company back to let them know that Robert still had not shown up. Drains R Us did not answer the phone so I left a voicemail. An hour went by and still no call and no show. I called Drains R Us back to find out why I have been waiting four hours with no calls or shows. I was informed that Robert was "slammed" and I would need to reschedule for a different day. Drains R Us was not responsive, on time and had a complete lack of communication.

I wish I'd looked at these reviews first and not just Yelp. I experienced the same issues with being grossly over charged for the work. I was charged $400 for what was about 30 minutes of labor. I was unable to get in touch with my normal plumber at the time, so I went with Drains R Us. Talked to my regular plumber today and found out he would have charged $135 for the same work. I was asked how much I know about plumbing before being quoted, and I was dumb enough to be honest. Now I know why I was asked.

Wow! I called Drains R Us after I saw the many positive references my neighbors had given the company. They were friendly and accommodating to my schedule change. Once the plumber came out, he discovered our leak was minor and easy to fix. He said to my husband, "This is easy to fix and I can tell you how to do it yourself, or I can fix it for you." He instructed my husband on how to fix it and didn't charge us. The repair cost us $8. Thank you!

They were very friendly and professional. Told me they would be between 4pm and 6pm but actually called back and arrived early. Robert, the service tech who came to fix my busted pipe was very informative and even helped me on the phone and picture texts with my water pressure after he had left the job. He would have come back out but I had no problem doing it myself. Thanks for helping me out. I definitely recomend using Drains R Us.

This company was great! They came out right away and at a convenient time for our very busy family. Very professional, family owned, and gave a FREE estimate before ever starting work. He made sure he recreated our on again, off again problem with our toilet too. Once he had an idea of what was wrong, he gave us the estimate of best case, worst case. He then tried multiple times to fix the problem rather than immediately taking our toilet off to snake the drain. That saved us money and time which we really appreciated. He then spent time to make sure the toilet was in fact fixed. I'll never think twice before calling the plumber again. This company is fair, honest, and professional! Thanks!!

I called these guys for a bid because a neighbor recommended them. They were the 3rd company to come out. I have a simple two hour job. 1st bit was $400? 2nd bid was $250. I would have gone with #2 but I already had Drains R Us coming out so I took s day off and waited. They showed up and wanted $850!!! Got kinda rude and testy when I said no and claimed that the other guys were not plumbers. Said he gets $850 for a two hour job because he is a real plumber. Totally wasted a good work day. The company tat came out on a Saturday to put in a bit is coming this afternoon since it’s such a “quick and easy job”. And by the way, he is also a master plumber like your guy....

Arch came out to our house within the time window. He was courteous and drew up an estimate after diagnosing the leak. When he found out that I had installed the upstairs bathroom faucets, he assured me that I would have no problem replacing the kitchen faucet as well. He walked me through what I could reasonably expect from the job, and after all the helpful advice, he didn't charge me a cent. I am thankful that he was kind enough to stay and walk me through the repair. It wasn't necessary for him to help me, but he did it, anyway.

We are very happy that we engaged Drains R Us to fix our hot water problem. Arch arrived on time as scheduled, and assessed our problems. He gave us a straight-forward understanding of what needed to be done and gave us a solid price to fix them. He offered to take time to immediately purchase a part at no charge to us because he didn't expect to need it, so didn't have it on his truck. We were very impressed with his honesty and consideration of us. We believe him to have shown integrity and fairness while he worked. We will call Drains R Us again for plumbing problems.

Michael did a great job for me. His price came in the lowest of all the bids that I had gotten for the job. I will definitely look to hire him again next time we need any plumbing done. Excellent work that is continued to perform.
-
Michael is an excellent plumber. I have a very old house and he worked with all the quirks. He redid all the gas pipes in my laundry room, and it looks amazing. It was a mess before. He came back multiple times to finish work after contractors had done their parts. Highly recommend.
