Omar was awesome! Very knowledgeable, he took the time to explain what he was looking for, how things should be working, what the read outs were. We identified the possible problem with the exhaust vent cover for which I told him I would take care of it. He was honest and didn’t try to upsell me on anything, only charged us for a tune up. Very pleased with the service. Thanks, Omar!

CJ was so great! Very personable, reliable and easy to work with. I have used Coyote HVAC years ago for a water heater install and would highly recommend them each time for whatever work is needing to be done.

Update, today Nick came out to our house to make sure we were all set for spring. He called ahead of time, made sure the timing was good, was really friendly and considerate. He did his job very well and was very thorough. He explained everything to me and was sweet with my 4yo daughter. Both Coyote HVAC service people have been beyond friendly and so nice to work with!

Today we had Omar come to our new-to-us home. He was absolutely excellent! He was on time, very friendly and very informative. He walked me through what he did and nicely made suggestions of what could help for our home, which was helpful since this house is new for us. I'm so glad our neighbors recommended Coyote Hvac and I'm so glad they sent us Omar!

When our furnace went out the day before Thanksgiving, it was obviously super stressful based on the impending holiday. Tim/Coyote came over and did an extremely thorough job of assessing all of our home, not only the furnace. There were other issues where codes have changed and he was not going to put our family in danger based on old antiquated equipment. There price with furnace came in lower than the other firm I had come out. Peace of mind, quality and commitment wins the day! Highly recommend.

They sold out to another company who does not offer the same services that coyote hvac used to (namely: servicing swamp coolers).

In other words: They have become a worse company.

That's what I'd expect when one company buys another in the same sector, they aren't doing it to improve our experience as clients.

Tell ya what though I found Hytek Air Systems right around the block and the tech that came from them was smarter, more polite, punctual, and their receptionist was very nice.

They’re really responsible and respectful. The communication with them is very comfortable. And they found out a solution a discussed with us . They did a great duct job. Very professional. All of them the technicians are good. The boss also helped and followed up. They helped us do the makeup air system and hood ventilation system. For the old house they did good work. Thanks for their hard working.

The short story: Not to be trusted. Just another contract service provider taking your money for unacceptable, low-quality work.

The long story: I had a technician come out to service our swamp cooler for the summer in May. We hadn't used the swamp cooler at all because we were new homeowners. We bought this house in November, and needed help getting it primed for this Spring and Summer.

We knew before buying the house that the swamp cooler was not maintained - but all we thought was that it had rusted and needed new pads, according to our inspection. (The previous owners said it was a relatively new system....it sure didn't look that way.)

When I booked the service with Coyote HVAC, I requested a swamp cooler deep clean in addition to the seasonal start-up service, which they agreed to. The swamp cooler was full of rust and we didn't want to attempt to clean it ourselves.

A few weeks after their visit, I realized that 1 of 2 vents in the house was not blowing any air whatsoever. (It took me a few weeks to notice because that vent is in-between the dining room and kitchen - not somewhere we constantly occupy or notice direct air hitting us.) Then I remembered that Coyote HVAC ALSO never tested the vents to make sure they were working after they supposedly got our swamp cooler up and running for the season.

Anyways - 3 days days ago, the swamp cooler stopped working altogether.

When I called Coyote to book another appointment (which I would have paid for), I was told that I am now out of their service area since they merged with a different HVAC company.

So we scheduled a different HVAC company who came by yesterday. They reported that every part in the swamp cooler was busted, aside from the pads and the belt. The motor is fried. Only 1 of 8 distribution tubes is working. And, the inside is still completely rusted and looks the same as the photos from when we bought the house.

There was no deep clean when the Coyote tech was here. In fact, I am not sure if he did anything at all, aside from tell us that it was "good to go". after spending about 20 minutes on the roof with it.

Before leaving, he asked if we wanted to schedule an appointment to learn about heat pumps and a potential system upgrade at some point down the road. I agreed, thinking we would schedule an appointment a different day or the following week, but he immediately called a colleague to come over the same day and give us a $20k estimate for a new heat pump/AC system.

Again, the first tech didn't mention ANYTHING about our current swamp cooler being on the verge of complete collapse.

We weren't looking to install a brand new AC system, but they were sure quick to try and acquire our money for one.

We knew the swamp cooler was NOT in good shape when Coyote HVAC came to prep it for summer. However, the issues that a different HVAC company discovered yesterday (like 7 out of 8 distribution tubes not working) and signs of system distress would have been obvious in May when the Coyote tech was here.

I should have asked the technician for photos after he "cleaned" and serviced the cooler.

Instead, I made the mistake of trusting Coyote HVAC to do what I paid them to do. How silly of me.

    Thanks for nothing.

Joey was prompt, professional, and did amazing quality work. I called Coyote HVAC at 7:30am when we awoke to our heat not working. They had Joey here by 10am. He was friendly and addressed our concerns and provided thorough answers to our questions and offered multiple solutions. I will use them again and recommend Coyote HVAC to others!

Omar repaired my air conditioning unit this morning. He was professional, friendly, on time (early!), and was not bothered at all that I wanted to watch and learn a little about the workings of my home. He explained everything he was trouble shooting and shared a lot of helpful info in caring for my unit going forward. The cost was also more reasonable that another estimate I received from a larger company for the same repair. This is my first interaction with Coyote HVAC, but I would highly recommend them, based on this experience!

Several years ago there was a small gas leak in the exhaust of my water heater which wasn't that old. They came out and told me I needed a new water heater one that was shorter. I've been in my house 50 years had several water heaters the same size no problems. They said they couldn't fix the exhaust I needed a new hot water heater stupid me. They put in a shorter one and took the legs off it now sits on the cement basement floor. I had to call them back several times. First time the new hoses they replaced were leaking all over. The second time the hot water heater stopped working come to find out that brand had a faulty filter in it. Now every time it rains if my basement floods more than an inch it wipes out the hot water heater igniter. I have been advised to have legs put on it and re-do the exhaust that was the issue in the first place. The hot water heater that was taken out was in perfect condition just taller. Don't go there.. in reply to Coyotes answer: I'm sorry but you need to check your records I kept all mine. Plus all the texts. There was a special trip out here just to fix the hose leaks after hooking it up. The other leak was in one pipe and repaired by a professional plumber with copper pipes which has nothing to do with sitting the water heater flush onto the cement floor with no legs or water pan around it like the one you took out. I know the newer ones don't have legs anymore but a water pan should have been put underneath it. I've had both a professional plumber and a fireman look at it and tell me that. I don't need you to tell me why my basement floods. It only happens when there's days and days of rain I know exactly where the water comes in and it's not the roof. Just had a new roof the summer before the new water heater. This is a flood zone and if you noticed there is a operational sump pump in the adjacent room for when the water reaches a certain level. Unfortunately it's too late by then because the water snuffs out the pilot light before the water reaches the other room. That is not the point had a pan been put under the new water heater I would not be having this issue. Nice try. You also could have put new venting in to have it go through the chimney like it was in all the previous years with no leaks and I probably would still have my other water heater that wasn't even that old. Fixing the venting was not offered to me. I've had nothing but problems with this water heater and installation. I have attached a photo from today with all the rain. I stick by my review.

Coyote HVAC was great to work with. They were able to respond quickly and kept me informed about their arrival time. Best service I have had in some time. Omar Ramirez was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, polite and overall a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Coyote and Omar!

I knew when they first answered the phone that Coyote HVAC was going to be a great choice- super polite, professional, & efficient on the phone & then also in person. Omar arrived ahead of schedule and fixed our A/C in under 2 hours…I could tell he was genuinely hoping for the problem to be small & not something that would require more time & money. I appreciated that! I called Coyote based off of a friend’s recommendation & am so glad I did. I am now pleased to highly recommend them myself.

As usual, CJ, Omar, and the Coyote HVAC crew were punctual and accommodating. Today’s call was routine service on my boiler and hot water heater but I’ll always remember the time they came out to my old house and repaired my inoperable furnace that went out 2 AM in the middle of winter. I feel they are a trustworthy company and do good work for a fair price.

Richard O. came out to look at my gas furnace. He quickly found and fixed the issue, while explaining to me what he was doing and why. He was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely recommend Coyote HVAC in general and Richard specifically!

I’m very happy I chose coyote HVAC to do our tuneup this year, they were super accommodating with scheduling and wonderful to work with. Omar was awesome, got our system up and running and was super thorough. He waited until everything was running perfectly before he left, I feel super confident in the work he did. Will absolutely be using them again and requesting Omar!

We woke up to no heat in our home on Wednesday. I called Coyote HVAV at 7:00. Was greeted by Brandon who got a tech out to our home at 8 am. When it was determined it couldn't be fixed CJ came out. He offered different options on a furnace. No hard sells. He was wonderful. On the same day two outstanding techs came to install. Dillon and Nick. They were so very nice and very knowledgeable and reassuring. Hauled the old furnace away and cleaned the mess. We would highly recommend Coyote. And it was affordable. They will be our new company.

The reps and office staff were fantastic; honored discounts offered during home show. Install was mostly good; think that install on a Friday that took longer than anticipated left the crew ready to be done. I asked to be shown how to change the filter and the guy realized he didn’t make the opening for it. Asked to be walked through new thermostat, given brief description and told he’d leave me the manual. Next day realized they didn’t relight the pilot light on my hot water heater, so was without hot water. Called on Saturday and didn’t get a call back until Monday morning. Guy that called Monday was apologetic for experience.

The coyote HVAC crew installed an AC system for my house back in 2022 and going into the fourth year with it now, it has been an outstanding system with top of the line equipment. They are a quality organization! Recommended. When I was shopping, they were right in line with my budget and offered the best services and products. I made the right choice.

Mike and his associate Tommy did an awesome job installing our new furnace and air conditioner! We had a few hiccups but they came back and troubleshooted things until they were working like they should. They gave us an awesome price and the service was phenomenal. I highly recommend Coyote HVAC! :)

Ben is an excellent technician! He’s honest, diligent, careful to charge accurately and so enjoyable to have in our home! Today he repaired our gas fireplace. Before he has worked on our air conditioner and heater.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Nick from Coyote HVAC, and I can honestly say it was one of the best service experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment he arrived, Nick’s warm and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. He took the time to patiently explain the process for cleaning and repairing our mini split units, ensuring I understood exactly what was going on every step of the way. It was clear that he genuinely cared about doing the best job possible, and his passion for his work shone through in all the little details he paid attention to.

Not only was Nick incredibly knowledgeable, but he also demonstrated exceptional customer service skills. He arrived on time, respected our home by keeping his work area tidy, and made sure there was minimal disruption throughout the entire process. His communication was excellent—he asked for feedback, listened carefully to my concerns, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I was impressed by how dedicated he was to making sure we were completely satisfied with the end result, even taking extra time to check every component and ensure our units were running smoothly.

In addition to his professional expertise, Nick went above and beyond to leave a positive impression. He provided helpful tips on how to extend the life of our HVAC system and even took care of a few minor issues that we hadn’t initially noticed. This level of care and personal attention truly set him apart from other technicians I’ve worked with in the past. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for an HVAC professional who is reliable, skilled, and genuinely cares about their customers, I highly recommend reaching out to Coyote HVAC. Nicks’ dedication and commitment to excellence make him an absolute standout in his field, and I feel confident knowing our mini split units are in the best possible hands.
